Icon Regulator Stripped Vest
really cool looking, high quality vest... with some sizing issues
After trying to find a more contemporary leather vest for quite some time, I finally chose the Icon Regulator. The vest looks super tough, uses great materials and is very well made with a high quality finished appearance.
I would definitely caution would-be buyers to pay notice to the sizing comments on this product. I am an athletic build - 6'2", 195lbs with a 45" chest. The small/medium is what i had to go with...crazy. It fits great in combo with a hoodie and pretty good with just a t-shirt... definitely some extra room around the neck area.
In the end, its a pricey but awesome vest. Just make sure you do your due diligence when getting the correct size.

Very durable high quality leather. Fits great with or without a jacket. Although I would have preferred that the adjustment straps on the sides were also made of leather, but overall a great vest. I would highly reccomend this product.

Pricey but worth it!
Just got my Icon Stripped Regulator vest today and it is everything I was hoping that it would be. I like to be different when it comes to style and this is not your typical "Harley" type vest so it fit my tastes perfectly. I was skeptical about buying without trying one on but the fit chart was pretty accurate. I am about a 42" chest and the LG/XL fit me just fine. I've even got room to expand should I decide to wear a jacket underneath. The armor tends to make the vest a little back heavy and feels like it wants to pull but it isn't really that big of an issue, especially if you are used to wearing armor of any type and the armor easily zips out which made putting on club patches simple. The grade of leather is top notch and the snaps and buckles are all quality. I am quite certain this vest will far outlive my desire to ride. But for now I am more than satisfied. I wish I had not waited so long debating on size. Revzilla will exchange for free so don't hesitate. If you are looking for a vest in this style the buck stops here. It is a bit pricey but you will certainly get what you pay for.

Great style, fits slightly large but perfect over a jacket. Easy to sew on patches. Cross-draw pockets, although cool concept are a bit dysfunctional in practical riding situations. Armor is the best I've seen! Armor does cause a gap in back of neck where cold air can enter which is great in hot weather and not so great in cold. Overall its an awesome vest and I love it!

Saved my life
Bought this vest at the beginning of the summer. Ride with it because I like the look and the fact that it keeps you cooler than a jacket.
Was in an accident 2 weeks ago while wearing this. The back plate is thicker and stronger than most backplates you find in full jackets. If I had not been wearing this I would have broken my back 100%. Chunks taken out of the leather all along the spine but back armour still in tact and saved me. Without it I wouldn't be walking.

One of the best made cuts I've had. The armor in the back is a little heavy, so it drags the back down a bit. Worn on top of the jacket you dont notice this at all and the armor itself is removable. With the armor removed your have direct access to the leather directly, so attaching colors or patches is easy.
Style wise, its superb and the adjustable sides make it easy for solo wearing or on top of a jacket. Leather is good, branding is minimal.

Great vest if you're a big guy.
As far as style, features and quality goes this vest is on point. The cross draw pockets are sweet, the leather is supple and top notch and ventilation is good. My main issues are of course price but that's par for Icon and sizing. I'm about 5'8 155 lbs. My legs are skinny hence the light weight but my upper body is a good size save for a short trunk and this vest is still huge on me in the sm/med size. As they don't offer a xs/sm I'll be forced to dump money into some custom tailoring to get this thing not looking like it's 2 sizes too big. Icon is dropping the ball for the smaller guy here...
