Very satisfied Love the jacket! Fits great and has good air flow. Definitely a summer jacket September 1, 2015
Good snug fit; good protection I got to test this jacket out almost a week after buying it. No pain from the fall, which is good thing. Just an ugly black stain on the jacket. No rips, no tears August 31, 2015
Inexpensive Summer Jacket that breathes a lot! I was looking to get a jacket, but I typically only ride in the Summer in Iowa so I needed something that wouldn't be too hot and discourage me from wearing proper gear. This jacket breathes very well in the chest and arms. My inner arms and chest feel the wind the most, mainly because it's where the pads aren't. The liner comes in handy below 70F, but since it does not cover your arms, it can get cold below 55F. Pros: Inexpensive, breathes well, great fit (Medium jacket - 5' 8" at 160lbs) and pads aren't clumsy nor limit mobility. Cons: Thumb strap at the end of the cuffs seem too short. It feels as if the sleeves aren't long enough. August 31, 2015
bang for the buck jacket from ICON great jacket for the price comes with DO3 armor standard on shoulders back and elbows which was a huge buying point for me could use a couple extra pockets only has 2 or 3 but not that big of a deal if you use a backpack or something seems to have a decent amount of airflow not to restrictive while walking around with it August 31, 2015
Great Jacket for the money Got this jacket and have had it for a couple months. In 90+ its hot until you get moving, then it's just fine. The removable liner does good to help keep you warm on a cool morning, but makes the jacket feel kinda bulky. Its not too bad though. Overall the jacket is great and I'd recommend it to anyone. August 27, 2015
Comfortable Yes, this is a good jacket for $150, but I have a couple of complaints. For one, it fits slightly small. I am 6'1" 155lbs and wear a medium everything. If this jacket had been any smaller on the arms or down the torso I would have returned it for a large. It does not squeeze my torso however, so I feel this is designed more towards stockier builds. My largest complaint is the padding. It tends to shift around and even flip at times, resulting in the pad sitting off of your shoulder or elbow. The pads do not fit their pockets very well. With that said, the airflow is fantastic and the removable liner is a big plus. A note to potential buyers, there are no pockets on the outside, and the pockets on the inside are sufficient, though two of them have no means of closing. Overall, I do like this jacket and am glad that I purchased. August 24, 2015
A nice jacket, but doesn't quite hit the mark I was excited to try out the Icon Overload II, and heard a lot of great stuff about it. When it arrived it was packaged well and delivered on time. My qualms with jacket are with its protection and breathability, which are the 2 sole reasons I bought the jacket. Let me start with the breathability. When I reach 70Mph I start to feel a bit of air seep through the jacket, but anything under that speed and it's almost nothing making it through. I live in Florida so heat is a major issue here, so this jacket might feel better in colder climates, but for Florida summer it doesn't do the job. On the protection side of things there are a few issues, the first being the D3O armor in the jacket. D3O has it's pluses and minuses, do a bit of research into them, they're quite easy to find and it's pretty important to know what you're protecting yourself with. My major issue with the armor is how they are placed in the jacket. The armor is put into pockets that are far too large and they tend to slide around. The armor along the elbow swims completely off of my arm constantly. The shoulder guards feel almost non existent, and the back protector is too thin to do much. Overall I think the jacket will definitely protect me from abrasion, but won't do much in an impact situation. The breathability shouldn't be a factor in your decision to buy one of these, as it doesn't have much of it. August 18, 2015
Great Buy This is my first jacket as up until just recently all of my riding has been dirt - so i wasn't really sure what to expect when getting it. It's far more comfortable than i would have guessed, and is something i could wear for extended periods of time. It doesn't flow a ton of air, but it flows enough to keep you from overheating on a 90+ degree day. There are not many pockets, but if you're carrying that much stuff with you, just get a backpack. Luckily i don't know about the protection first hand, but it feels like it would do the job if you took a spill. I've also gotten a lot of compliments on the jacket. I would definitely buy it again. A shopper asked: I'm 6'4", 190lbs and am generally tall and skinny with longish arms. Should I get a large or extra large? I definitely want the sleeves to be long enough. Feb 23, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jeff S: I'm about that same build as you at 6'5" 200lb. I originally ordered a large but felt it was a bit tight on the shoulders and a little short on arm length. I'm happy I switched mine out for a XL. Feb 23, 2015
Reply to Jeff Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Orey W: I am 6'0" 170 and I got a size medium. It fits me perfect in the arms and torso, even though I have a longer torso than most. This is a loose fitting jacket around the lower torso. Not going to be tight like a leather jacket. I would say a large would fit you well in the body but might be a bit short for longer arms. And the XL would fit your arms but not the torso. So it will most likely be a compromise. But I always wear a hoody under this jacket because it flows a LOT of air! So with a hoody on a XL might work well for you. Feb 23, 2015

Sulaiman S: I'm 5' 9" 165 lbs and a xl fits me just fine. I wasn't sure if when I got it if it would fit comfortably but it did. I just went by the size shit I wear. I'm pretty sure that if the size you get can be returned if it doesn't fit. I hope I was somewhat helpful in with your final decision. Good luck on that.

Jermaine W: I'm 5'11 and athletic build ( a bit on the skinnier side) and I bought the large. The jacket stops just a little below my waist and the sleeves are a perfect length. I would recommend that you get a X-large especially with your height.

Derek R: I think you should try the xl. I'm 5'9 190lbs and the large fits me perfect. I think the arm length may be a little short for you if you get the large. Overall it's a nice jacket. Feb 24, 2015

Kyle H: You should look for something else. I got this jacket being the same body type as you and the sleeves are too short and the body is a little too wide. I'm 6'2" 170. Feb 23, 2015

Alexander S: Extra large. I'm 6'1 and got the large. The length of the arms is just a tad short for me. The jacket is a tight fit so I don't think it will bloat on you. Feb 23, 2015

Steven S: I just went with my regular t shirt size. I usually wear a medium and that's what fit well. Not super tight but a little loose. Good arm length. Feb 24, 2015

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Mark S: I'm about 5'9" and weigh 170. I got a L. It's not a loose fitting jacket design so the L worked for me. I'd go for the 2X and see how that fits. At least if it's a little too big you could still wear it. Free returns if it's too big. May 21, 2015

Andrew S: I am 6 ft 210 and work out as well. I went with a xl. Looked at a suit jacket I had go to get shoulder measurement. I am a 42 I believe. I can fit a goodie under but feels snug at that point. May 20, 2015

Sam F asked: I'm 5'9" and weight 135. I'm not the biggest build and am pretty lean. Would a size M be too large without anything but a t-shirt underneath? I do not want the jacket to be too baggy but also do not want too tight of a fit in a Small. Jun 8, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jean-François S: To help you with perspective, I'm 5'11'' and weight 240. I ordered the 2XL and it's quite small, especially with a thin sweatshirt. Usually, the clothes I buy are L or XL. I'd suggest going a size over what you usually buy, I doubt it'll be baggy. It's made to stick to your body. Enjoy, I love that jacket! Jun 8, 2015
Christopher C: A size M should be perfect for you! I ordered a size L and I am 6'2 185. Mine is a little too tight for my liking, but it is icons attack fit. Basically slim fit. Jun 9, 2015

Astride L asked: I was looking at getting the white version for the Australian Summer season, we get temps here around 45 C (113 F) will this jacket have enough air flow to keep comfortably cool? Nov 17, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Angel B: I live in Arizona, haven't ridden in the summer with the jacket yet but I've ridden in 90+ temp.(F) and really no problems. It has pretty good airflow, and with the removable inside liner its no problem. I recommend it personally. Price is not to crazy, good quality and product description true to its word. I have the white as well, helps with the sun not baking you. For the best airflow you gotta keep moving though. :) p.s white gets pretty dirty. Nov 18, 2014

Antonio F: I would say that you should be good. Ive been in 90+ degree weather with this jacket and the only time I got hot was sitting at the light. While riding though it got a ton of air and I was great. I did have the liner on also so if you took it out I'd say you definitely be good. Nov 18, 2014

Michael G: I don't know about the orange part, I got the murdered out black myself. However, I can answer your question about the fit. I am 6ft 1in and weigh 160. I am a tall lanky guy. I am a Florida year round rider looking for a nice all around jacket, love the way it looks and I'm hoping this is it.
