Looks good, functions good
Sizing chart was perfect. I'm 5'11", 180 lbs, thin to medium build and the medium was perfect. Just barely enough room to get a fleece zip up underneath for the cold days in Alaska. Super comfy with just the jacket. Looks great, functions well, like the wrist zips/snaps, does a great job of closing up the areas where wind can get in.
My only complaint, is some loose thread. I've been using the jacket for the last week or so and it's had a few thread ends come loose. We'll see how the durability is.

nice jacket
I'm 6' and 185 lbs and the medium fits perfect. I've only had it a couple weeks so can't attest to durability but it looks good and feels sturdy. It definitely flows some air so if you're a warm weather rider you don't have to worry about that. Overall it's a nice jacket for a good price.

great jacket looks awesome
i just got mine a couple days ago im 23 6'2 220lbs but slim built according to the chart im a 43in chest and a 36 sleeve. the recommend size is a XL but i went with the 2XL and i love it the fit. i the sleeves are perfect length up to my wrist in rider position and the short cuff gloves fit great. i do have a bit of bunch up in the chest but that's why i got it a size bigger i usually wear a couple shirts when i go places and i know with a XL it would fit too tight. air flow while in motion great but stand still gets a bit warm here in santa barbara,ca.
protection i feel would be enough when it comes down to it. but for being a textile jacket i feel the price is a bit too high but the look and finish of it is beautiful gotten a lot of compliments. shipping was quick and on time thank you once again Revzilla

Icon Overlord Textile Jacket
Great jacket!!! gave it 5 stars. only reason i gave it an average on protection and durability was because it was supposed to come with all the pads, shoulder, elbow and back but it did't come with the elbow pads. called Revzilla and they where very very helpful with this and i had my elbow pads with in a few days!!! not a big deal and i don't think it was Revzilla's fault rather than Icon's mess up.

Nice jacket
This jacket is nice. Im a new rider i cant afford to buy the expensive one. So i decided to get this one first. I ordered one size up. I ordered a medium, im 5'8 155lbs. I ordered a size small in my first purchase but its too tight. So i returned it and get the medium. Fits perfect! I use these on my every ride.

Decent summer jacket
I'm 6' and 195 lbs (42 Long jacket size) and the Large fit me great, although I wouldn't mind another half inch of sleeve length. Mesh panels are along the length of the front and rear of the torso, plus panels along the inner arm and torso side that run from wrist to waist. The jacket flows a lot of air and makes for a great summer choice, especially down south. Armor is comfortable and well placed. Good looking jacket, both on and off the bike. Zippers and snaps are acceptable and easy enough to operate with gloves on. Pockets are a bit small for anything other than a wallet or cell phone.
The liner is the glaring oversight in an otherwise good jacket. Having a vest liner in a jacket with mesh that runs down the arms of the jacket is as puzzling as it is ineffective. On top of that, the snaps that secure the vest to the tops of the jacket sleeves are incredibly fragile. Its the kind of thing that would be permissible in a budget jacket, but not at this price point. If you plan on stretching the temp range of this jacket, be prepared to supply your own windproof insulation (or buy a second jacket for the winter season).

For the price, great jacket
I'm 6'1" 175lb. The M size fit me perfectly. Great ventilation, good armor on the shoulders and elbows, comfortable back armor too, which goes fairly far down the back.
The removable liner is a nice touch making this mesh jacket easily into a 3 season jacket, maybe 4 season if your winter isn't too cold. Stretch panels make the jacket very comfortable. The additional length in the back is also a great feature for anyone that will be leaning forward.

This jacket is perfect!!!
I love the jacket. Fits like a glove, matches my ZX6R perfectly, great price, and perfectly comfortable when your in a tucked position. My only complaint is that out of the box the top button was missing, then a few days later the one on my wrist fell off too. All that being said it's a bad a** jacket, and you won't regret making the purchase!

The textile is very abrasion resistant, which also means that it will be hard for dirt to embed into the fabric. If it does get dirty, you can always take the armor out and run it through the wash on a gentle, cold water cycle and hang dry.Age: 25-34

Tough question!! I had the Blue which has plenty of white in it and white sleeves. I returned mine due to lack of airflow. The material seemed like you could scrub it or wash it if you had to. I was not that concerned about it when I had it. Just a note, I too am in FL and really like the airflow in the Contra over this jacket. The Overlord just made me sweat...Good Luck

I just recently cleaned mine... went back to original color. My suggestion, dont let it sit with the dirt + grime from the street. I try and clean my jacket after 2 or so rides....Age: 25-34

We might suggest a more summer oriented jacket for temperatures in the 90s. The Overlord Textile was designed with a removable liner to offer a wide range of temperature comfort, however, you might be better off with a Icon Hooligan 2 Mesh for hot days.Age: 35-44

I have ridden with this jacket in 100+ heat. It gets pretty good airflow with the wrist zippers open.Does pretty well at speeds, can get a little warm at a light or in traffic.
Side note - I do have a pretty high tolerance for heat - But I do recommend this jacket for warmer weather.
Also - The liner is vest only - No arms.

It depends on your riding needs. If you're doing slow speed commuting (35 mph-ish) I'd say armored mesh might be better. But at higher speeds, the airflow in this jacket is quite good and I personally would want more protection in a crash than mesh can give.Age: 25-34

Just reviewed my experience with the Overlord Textile Jacket... I am in South FL where it gets in the 90's and really like my Contra instead of the Overlord. The Contra has GREAT airflow compared to the Overlord. I liked the look of the Overlord, but returned it keeping my Contra. Plus the Contra has full sleeves on the thermal liner so it's pretty good in coller temperatures as well. The Overlord has a vest style liner. It might ok in cooler weather, but only because the arms don't breath well at all.Good Luck.

I wore this thing to and from work over the summer and on all my rides in St. Louis even when the heat index was 105+ I'm not sayin I wasn't hot, but the ventilation in this jacket is awesome and once you start to sweat a bit and you start movin the air circulates like crazy and between the air flow and moisture it actually kinda cools you down!Age: 18-24
