Icon Overlord Long Gloves

Strong, light, and ready for duty - the Overlord glove is the finest glove Icon has ever offered. We started with a Kangaroo palm - thin for ultimate feedback form your controls yet more abrasion resistant than cowhide. Critical impact areas were treated to reinforcements of Pittard's Keratan - a flexible yet significantly enhanced abrasion resistant goatskin. The backhand is constructed from Icon's Battlehide goatskin - forming a tough yet lightweight barrier against asphalt incursion. A full compliment of injection molded armor plating provides additional defensive measures. Very pleased with these gloves. Lots of air. Very comfortable at temps of 50 F and above. A great deal of technical/protective detail. Very good tactile response.

20 000 kms with these, through 40 deg (C) temps and Queensland rain; all stitching remains perfect. Leather only needs some treatment when you do it for your jacket. Having the stitching outside of the fingers makes these gloves the most comfortable I ever owned (also good to wipe visor!). I will buy and store another pair before they change the design or the materials.

You pay for what you get. Spending 150 bucks on a pair of gloves I was a little leary about. Glad I did though, these gloves are comfortable. Two adjusters that make the glove fit jjust the way you want it too. Very nice air flow. Glove feels solid, seem feels like you can take a fall and not worry. According to the size graph im supposed to be an XL, I ordered a large and it fits perfect. My advice to you is to buy these gloves and order one size smaller. Great buy very satisfied.

Im not even sure where to begin with this glove. Besides looking downright badass it has enough protection goodies that make you feel safe while riding in them.
The knuckle/ulna protectors are great and the dual strap locking system secures the glove in place.
It has great airflow, my hands were never "hot or sweaty" during summer riding nor were they freezing after a nice ride in temps>50.
They do run a size large, so order 1 size down then what you would normally order.

Hi there Revzilla's
I'm interested in the Icon Overlord gauntlet gloves, and just need some assistance and guidance on sizing. I have 2 questions.
1. I have measured the circumference of my hand, and it is just on 9". What size do you recommend?
2. I have tried on some other brands of gauntlet, and have found difficulty getting my hand through the wrist opening. If I go up to a size where I can get through the wrist opening, I usually find the gloves are too big. I seem to have a disproportionally wide palm compared to my finger length! Is the wrist opening of the Icon overlord typical, or is it smaller/larger than average? Maybe I'm better off with the short version of the Overlord?

Acording to Q1: Your'e obviously Large for the Icon Sizing Chart (http://www.revzilla.com/icon-size-chart), but what I said on my Icon Justice Leather Gloves Review, my hand is 8.5" for MD size in the chart, but I've always bought Small with other brands, so I bought Small Icon gloves and they fit very well, not too loose and not too tight. As for the Wrist oppening, I think you need to consider the type of body you have. I'm a 63 Kg. and 1.68 guy. So I find icon gloves to be in the standard wrist oppening. Slightly large, because I need to pull all the velcro around in order tighten the glove. Hope this will help. Cheers!

Answer: 
the entrance into the gloves is adjustable by a triple velcro strap, as well as an adjustment strap. I think you will be fine with the gauntlets. I used the Icon size chart where you put your hand against the paper and see what size you are - you can download and print it yourself.
