This jacket is everything its advertised to be. It provides good air flow and is very comfortable. The jacket is very cool in the summer heat and I have even used it in the fall on 59 degree days with a hoodie on under the jacket. The jacket looks awesome and holds up pretty well. The zipper sometimes comes apart at the bottom which my be user error. Rezip and you are fine. Over all i'm very pleased with the product and glad i purchased it. One word of caution, the pockets are shallow so remember to zip them up if you want to keep whatever you put in them

Love the jacket
Although a little on the pricey side IMHO, I love the jacket. Im 6'0 200 pounds and the XL fits perfectly. The jacket has ample pocket space (2 outside pockets, 2 inside with one being mainly for MP3 player etc). Have worn the jacket on more than one 90+ degree day here in NC with all its humidity and the jacket had enough air flow to keep me from overheating. Jacket is very comfortable and all the armor is placed very well and doesn't move around.

i would recommend this product. Super comfortable and great for hot days. Being able to remove sleeves at elbows is nice for cruzing around town. If you like to roadrace i wouldnt recommend but for street riding it is the bomb.. Elbow and back protection is plush and at the bottom of sleeves at the cuff you have a hook so you can hook your thumb to keep sleeves tight and from moving,. Thanks Icon.,..

Excellent choice for super hot weather
The Icon Hooligan Spaztyke is a fully free flowing mesh jacket. It offers great hot weather comfort with the protection of D3O armor.
For me, this will be for the hot, hot, heat of summer; more than likely in the 80/85 and up riding temps.

Great hot weather jacket!!!
I'm 5'10, 135 lbs, bought a Small in black/white. Fits great.
- Very breathable. Once you start rolling you can really feel the airflow. Felt great in 85 degree riding.
- Price is low, but still feels like it can take a hit for you!
- Amazing graphics. Looks great in pictures, better in person.
- Optional zip-off sleeves. Though doing so exposes your forearms.
- Forearm/elbow protectors could've used straps to stay in place!
- Chest area feels somewhat unprotected.
- Inner pockets don't feel too secure. I wouldn't trust putting my wallet or phone in em.
So far I've got 100 miles ridden with the jacket. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who plans on doing hot weather riding.

Troy S:The armor in this jacket is very lightweight and far from cumbersome. However, I have no doubts that it will do its job in the unfortunate event of an accident during normal riding. I can not say d3o is better or worst then any other armor out there but again I don't have any doubts that I will do what it is suppose to. Ask yourself what type of riding you plan to do before you purchase your gear. If you are just looking for something lightweight, breathable and will keep you cool and protected this is a great option. If you are looking for something to wear while racing, stunt riding or anything extreme this is obviously not the smart choice. When it comes to what kind of armor is the best you can check on line to see comparison test but most of the time it usually comes down to personal preference and what works and feels best to you.Jul 14, 2014
I haven't used it in a crash yet, but it's thickness is less but the weight is still there. I like it as you can't really see it so it makes wearing it more comfortable. It still feels solid. Jul 10, 2014
James B:I'm last night was the first night I wore it and I know it has two external pockets and one up on the left hand side kinda chest high with a earphone cord hole and a pocket for your music player I'm not sure if it has more or not but I can get back to you later this evening May 4, 2014
