Icon Field Armor Stryker Elbow Guards

Probably, gonna, crash. Three words that Nick Apex uses to describe his riding style. We know hes not alone. With that thought in mind, Icon created the Stryker Elbow Armor. Rider designed chassis, d3o intelligent foam, and CE certification add up to quality blockers for your under-appreciated pointy bits. If youre one of those riders who is never going to crash this product isnt for you. If you ride anywhere near reality than we suggest acquiring a set of Field Armor Stryker elbows.

Don't ride without them I got these along with the Stryker Vest and couldn't be happier with both. I don't use my jacket during the summer, only in the spring/fall and these + the vest do the job. I haven't been off yet (I have been off with my jacket and walked away), but I feel like these would do the job. Speaking of the vest, the only thing I wish it had was more shoulder protection and more gut protection. If you slide on your back, you'll be fine. If you slide on your stomach, you're going to have problems. Anyway, back to the elbow guards. I have large arms and I have the L/XL size and I don't think they are that tight. Be careful putting it on though as pulling on the guard will pop off the plastic pins that keep it together. I lost some of mine, but I used tiny thin zip ties to mend them and they are more than fine. As others have stated, the material starts to fray a bit after the velcro gets done with it...I've had mine for 2 years and it doesn't look that terrible yet. November 12, 2015
Great fit, strong, durable. Its everything I was hoping for. Fits great, and inspires confidence. I gladly ride in the heat without my jacket, coupled with the chest/ back protector piece. November 2, 2015
The Stryker series is a must buy for summer riders. Alright these elbow guards are amazing I would be in a different world of hurt right now had I not been wearing them. The elbow guards held up very well the icon logo is scraped off and dis-colored but they are still wearable and I will still use them. They are great for summer and usable in the hottest temperatures, it is slightly uncomfortable and limits range of motion but you must remember it's not if its when. June 29, 2015
great just simply great These elbow gaurds are great for when its really warm. The air flow is great and then fit is good granted the do run a little small but the elastic will stretch after some time to get a better fit. I know they have been out of the larges for awhile but try the small/med out and if you dont like them then yes the restock tor free. Also i work the sm/med with a hoodie under them and they felt fine. My forearms are 12in around so if that gives you an idea of the fit. Be careful with the way you pull them up to strap them on as well because the movable part is only held on by 2 small push snap pins. March 10, 2015
Icon continues to be awesome! Fortunately, I haven't had an incidents to actually test these out, but they are comfortable and definitely help out on days that it's just too hot to wear a jacket. The guards are comfortable on bare skin as they are on top of a long sleeved shirt. I believe someone mentioned this earlier, but the material of the sleeve gets messed up a little by the velcro, but so far hasn't been a problem. September 15, 2014
overall great pads good pair of elbow pads. kinda restrict elbow movement which is to be expected. for street riding they're great. slight offroad too, but i could see once you get in the ruff stuff you might want somethin a lil more limber. overall they get the job done and might spare your elbow/forearm a lil bit if it all goes bad. Get the whole set. I bought the entire Stryker set, an couldn't be happier with it. Elbow pads fit well. stayed in place great without being binding. great protection when dropping down on kitchen floor (god forbid I test them past this). June 26, 2014
Fits under anything These are well articulated and protective while highly breathable. I worry about the integrity of some of the rivets, but for the last 7 months those fears have been unfounded. I do hate how the Velcro frizzes up the straps though (store with Velcro closed!). September 21, 2013

Russell B: I have the Leatt Adventure body protector, which I really like - but the padding in the elbows doesn't stay in place well. So I wanted to try these, since you can zip the elbows off the Leatt. I've been using them for several months now, and really like them. May 15, 2014

A shopper asked: Rider is 5'9'' 180-190lbs, large and medium shirt size, what size do you recommend s/md or l/xl ? Jan 4, 2012

VovaPodd: Depends on your forearms the most, I think. If you've got huge biceps (muscle or fat) then you should be able to adjust the velcro strap so that it's comfortable. That strap is quite long and can be cut to length. Otherwise, if your forearms are thick, then the spandex straps will be comfortably tight, if not then they will be comfortably slightly less-tight. I'm 6', ~150 pounds, and I'm obviously thin. The small/medium fit me well. I think it should do for you, but it's a question of the size of the shell rather than the adjustability, as it can be changed a fair bit. Apr 22, 2013

Daniel F: Im in aus so converting to metric is tough. I am a bit taller but I believe weight is the same, and I wear med-large shirts. I went with the L/XL. Reason: in the video the guy has a small on ( i think), there isn't lots of room left on the strap, and he doesn't look like he hits the gym. Now Im not as big as anthony but I do workout and figured I'd go with the L/XL... perfect choice and it fits under my hoodies. Apr 22, 2013

Jlaws1: Depends on your arm length, really. as long as you don't plan on using the liner, you could probably get away with a medium. I'm 5'9" 160, bought a large which is a little big but very long in the arms. If your going to be wearing the liner too, you should definitely buy a large Jun 18, 2012

ADVJason: The size is predicated on the diameter of your arms. If you have skinny arms the SM/MD will fit best, if they are larger- L/XL. Jan 10, 2012

A shopper asked: Does the Icon Field Armor Stryker Elbow Guard come in “Black/Green”? The reason I ask is because I’d like to purchase the Icon Stryker Black/Green Vest with matching Elbow Guards. The Black/Green Vest just looks odd to me with Black/Red Elbow Guards. [Also Black/Black Elbow Guards would work as well]. Thank you. Oct 22, 2014
