This is a GREAT jacket.
From ordering it to putting it on when it got here and going for my first ride in it I don't think the smiles stop even when I'm just looking at it hanging in my closet. Its stylish, I feel protected in it, the guards are where they are supposed to be, great jacket and great airflow and features for the cost. I get compliments on it at stop lights and just walking around, size charts were dead on and everything fit perfectly. If you want a nice comfortable jacket for the summer-fall months, and don't want to break the bank, this or any of its non-styled sister jackets, are a great buy.
Just as well, ICON and their simple touches like the Saint Christopher pendant in the pocket, really mean a lot.

This new jacket has plenty of style.
Purchased the new Icon Contra Torrent jacket a few weeks ago, and it has lived up to all that was expected of it. Its kept me fairly cool when the sun was hot, while keeping that protection feel and adding an eye-catching style.

LOVE this jacket
I'm 5'6" and 130lbs (little dude) and I have this jacket in a Small. I've had this jacket for about a month and it has been great so far. It lets in a TON of air compared to my leather jacket. I wear it with the liner installed from 60 to 75 degrees with just a t-shirt under it and I'm very comfortable. Beyond that I take the liner out and have been fine up to 82 degrees so far but i'm sure it can be comfortable in higher temps. The padding is very comfortable and unobtrusive. The shoulder pads def make their presence known on my slim frame especially from a side profile. On a thicker guy it probably isn't as obvious but I look like a hockey player off the bike. At the same time it does a great job of preventing me from looking like a lolly pop with my helmet on. The quality of the jacket is excellent. The liner stays in place well and the materials are VERY sturdy. I'm not eager to test it, but I feel that this jacket would fare well against a slide down the asphalt.
