We popped the top on a giant can of concentrated habanero chili extract oil, mixed in some spinach and the yoke of an eagle egg. Then we added a dozen drops of nitroglycerin sweat from an ancient salt water dynamite stick. After stirring with the hurst shifter from a '70 Nova demon wagon, we let it simmer to completion at the bottom of the Popocatepetl volcanic crater in Mexico There are other ways to create pure bad-ass juice but no known method is as reliable. The Brawnson takes a healthy swig of this barbarous sauce every morning 'cause it does its killing after breakfast.

Great jacket with excellent features
Another great Icon product. Awesome styling in this jacket. The zip in/out thermal layer comes in handy on those colder temp days. I really like the fact that the zip in layer has material that covers the majority of your neck on those colder days. It also vents well on those warmer weather days. This is a great all around jacket that is versatile enough to wear when riding any style of bike and not seem out of place. This has been a really great jacket so far.

Even better in person!
I was looking for an "all season" jacket to wear on my KTM 990 SMT that wasn't terribly expensive, yet still had a good look, fit and protection... I took a chance on the Brawnson based on the Video and other online reviews and honestly could not be happier!
The cut is true to size (says its a relaxed fit, but a Medium fits like all my other medium "fitted" coats). Plenty of length in the sleeves, and just enough in the length to cover, but not bunch up. The cut behind the shoulders allows for a lot of free arm movement.
There is also a lot more "girth" to this jacket than the video and pictures shows. This will be great in the summer with the vest out, but also good during these cold months (I just wear a wind-stopper long sleeve shirt underneath). Haven't hit any rain yet, but a light-weight goretex breaker over everything will fix that issue.
Just holding the jacket you can feel how heavy duty it is and the amount of protection it offers. I see no need in upgrading the armor as the stuff it comes with is excellent!
Once again I'm extremely please with Icon and Revzilla!

Great Stealth Textile Jacket
Love this jacket. This is my first jacket. Don't wanna lean on to much label on jackets, and when I saw this, I just had to buy it! Very comfortable wearing and riding, also has removable vest if it starts to get hot / cold. Just be careful leaning too much on your tank. scratched my tank from the zipper.

Good overall jacket
I picked up this jacket just after getting my new bike. The first ride was nice but the jacket is more for someone taller than 5'4". The air flow is just fine for the mild weather between 60 -80 outside. Do not try to wear if you think it will rain, in a light rain I was soaked in about 5 min. A full liner would be nice but the vest does work well to keep you warm.

My first bike jacket. Fits well, looks great. It has very nice airflow. I can't speak to the safety features, and hope I never need to. I'd recommend this jacket to anyone!

Carlo B: Been looking for an ICON jacket to use with my CAN-AM Spyder. I like the styling of the Brwnson and the inner lining with the neck protector is a plus. Price wasn't too bad either!!!Apr 18, 2014
Eugene P: Looks to be a good spring to fall jacket. Removable liner is also a plus. I am located in Georgia so it's still cool during the spring and fall, which is when I like to ride. Addition to vent's for the hot Georgia days should make the summer rides more comfortable.Apr 10, 2014
Vinayak S: This jacket seems to a perfect mix of style and functionality, and the red seems like a bright and visible color that doesn't compromise my self esteem ;).Sep 6, 2013
A shopper asked:Is this jacket waterproof?Apr 15, 2014
Brent P:No. It is a vented jacket. It comes with a remove able liner for cold rides (48-65F). When it's hot, remove the thermal liner and open up the vents to keep cool. If it rains, it won't keep you totally dry. Great protection, good enough storage, great neutral styling (for the black color that I'm an owner of) and the venting works great up in to the 90's. Highly recommended for those looking for a non flashy riding jacket. Apr 15, 2014
Michael D. J:No, it's not waterproof based on ICON's specs. I haven't had the pleasure of being caught out in the rain in this jacket yet. Hopefully I don't or I'll be wet (Lol!). Other than that It's a great jacket, I love it so far. Apr 15, 2014
A shopper asked:I am looking to use this as a fall and spring jacket in temps between 40 and 60°F. How does it do in this temp range? Also, I am 5'10" 190lbs athletic build, would the XL fit with a sweatshirt under it? The size large is not available (at least from Revzilla..)Aug 12, 2014
Danny B:(I asked the original questions) Just got the jacket and its is definitely awesome, but I think the XL is a little big for me, even with a sweatshirt under it. The sleeves are baggy, long and loose around the wrists so I think a lot of cold air could get in that way (I am using this for cold riding). Sweet jacket, I just need a large (Again, I'm 5' 10" 190 lbs athletic build). Too bad large is out of stock, looks like I have to go to Amazon on this one... P.S. its $50 more expensive at AmazonAug 22, 2014
Brian S:The jacket does fine in the 40º range with the liner in. I wear it in the low 30ºs all the way up to 90º or so with the liner out, hotter than that I switch to something else. It is great for SoCal type temps. I have the large, and I am a little smaller than you. I think the XL would fit you fine. It is a nice jacket.Aug 12, 2014
