Icon 1000 Truant CE Boots
Anther excellent product from Icon 1000
I decided to purchase riding boots. After researching all brands on Revzilla.com I decided on the Icon 1000 Truent CE boots. I purchased the Johnny Black pair.
I am most please with the purchase. They are comfortable, easy to put on and take off and stylish.
Living and riding in Florida, I find they don't have as much air flow as I would like, but I will give that up for the protection these CE rated boots provide. An easy trade-off.
I recommend this product.

Great shoe if you've got the dough
Wearing for a few months now and they are holding up. Some fraying and scuffing but all the material feels very solid. The sole is heavy (weighs like a boot) but the leather material is quite light. Love the strap and helps put on/take off quickly; feels solid when your riding. I was riding in 100 degree heat the other day and my feet were cool. Get lots of compliments on the style.
...my wallet is still sore from the price-tag.

Quality, but doesn't come cheap
They look great, they are comfortable for riding boots. Good airflow, but nothing incredible. I like the lacing being tucked under the shoe so nothing can get snagged. Holding together well. The only downside was they were a bit pricey. Still very satisfied with what I got.

These are really DA BEST!
These are my first offical riding boots that are actually meant for riding! I started riding back in March and was wearing some old combat boots, a few weeks ago I purchased another bike and started wearing my hiking boots (Merrell Moab Mid Vent) for riding. After reading and watching the gear guides and reviews I decided to purchase real riding shoes. The reason I have never owned them until now is because I didnt like the "Astro Moon boots" that alot of the footwear presents itself as such. I know some people ride (Crouch Rockets) but it doesn't mean we all want to dress the part as if we were on a real rocket.
Also every now and then the people in my building whole look at me strange since its business casual but I am wearing hiking boots since I am too lazy to change my shoes everytime I want to walk around and do something.
Once I received these yesterday I honestly could not be happier with my purchase! These really are great for the price!
Comfort is outstanding! I like the boot feel but still comfortable like a shoe! The brown leather is a real nice touch and will ensure the products long lasting life! not to mention they look very classy and people have not noticed they are riding shoes.
Fitment is dead on, I wear a 10.5 in everything, my gym shoes Nikes and Merrell, hiking boots Merrell, semi casual\casual Sperry(s), and my extra YOLO casual shoes Etnies and my beach shoes Sanuk.
these really are a great product for the price! It may be a tab high but in reality the build and quailty is amazing, and most importantly it feels great on my feet! Great comfort on and off the bike to include walking around the office or outside!
Dont think about it, GET IT!
ps. wrote this review at work on one signal bar on a tablet so I didnt have time to spell check it.

Great Riding Boots
Ok.. I am not usually the type to write a review, I think reviews are usually fake, But I have to admit these are great Boots, I wasn't too sure about the looks, and the price.. I got the brown pair.. They are comfortable and feel great while riding, shifting and braking .Well worth the price . I would definitely recommend the Icons to a friend

I've put over 3000 miles (in 50 days) on these boots and their holding up great. No rips or snags"nothing".
Great looking boots that are holding up perfectly with how hard I've worked them in such a short amount of time! I would recommend these to anyone who wants a great riding boot without the space aged looking design. They are extremely comfortable and look like normal high tops. They do run just a little big tho, and stretch out too of course because their leather. I wear a 11 to 11 1/2, and I have wide feet. I ordered them in 11 and they were about perfect out of the box, but now are stretched kinda to wide. The next pair I'm going to order (and I'm for sure getting another pair) I'm definitely ordering a 10 1/2 this time.

Not worth the money
Aside from looking cool, the cons outweigh the pros... Here are the cons in my opinion:
1.- Too heavy for a short boot
2.- It's a pain in the a** to put on and take off because of the strap, definitely not a set it and forget it set up.
3.- They are for narrow fit, had to wear thin socks for comfort.
4.- On the expensive side for a short boot
5.- Slippery outer soles, kept sliding off my peg.
6.- Very warm and little or no ventilation at all.
7.- definitely not a walk around boot
1.- They look pretty cool
So, if you are more into looks than practical ease of use and comfort then these are for you, if you are not then I would recommend a different boot

Overall great value
These shoes match the size listed and are excellent for walking....seem to wear well, easy to lace, really like the boot and the protection it provides. So far, just minimal wear. Wore it in light rain for the day and socks stayed dry.
