Icon 1000 Truant Boots
Motorcycle boot that doesn't look like a boot
This product fulfills the requirements of "motorcycle boot" but doesn't really look like a boot. This makes it kind of a niche product for people who recognize and want common motorcycle boot features (protection from elements and crash, durability, etc.) but want a more casual look. The boots do their job pretty much perfectly.
I have about 2000 miles on these. They have held up perfectly, the soles are acceptably grippy despite how little "tread" they have, and are comfortable on the bike. Off the bike, they are heavy and feel very much like boots but are not comfortable for walking. A walk of a few blocks would be fine but I certainly wouldn't want to take them for an extended stroll or any kind of hike.
They don't look quite as casual/cool as you might want (they look like bulky converse-style shoes) but I think the functionality offsets the slightly strange look.
The top of the boot is quite stiff and can dampen the feel of the shifter. People used to riding casual shoes might not appreciate this but this is the price you pay for any fully-protective boot outside of a race boot.
$200 is toward the high end for quality boots (which these are). The Truants will probably last practically forever since they won't really experience wearing conditions in the same way that hiking boots (or similar) will. Still, $200 is pretty hard to swallow.

Great boots that don't look like motorcycle boots.
This my first Icon purchase. Most of the other Icon stuff that I've considered before has been over-styled in my opinion. But I had read enough positive reviews about the Truants so I decided to give them a try. My last set of low cut boots were Sidi Dohas, which I liked very much. I've been wearing the Truants almost daily for three weeks now and I am very pleased with them. They are very comfortable (sizing is spot on; I wear size 10 Nikes and these 10s fit spot on and feel very substantial without being overly clunky. They flow air well but are not too cold when the weather turns cool, 50 degrees or so. Lacing system is quick and simple. I was skeptical about the strap and buckle vs the Velcro strap on the Dohas) but it turns out to work fairly well. I would still prefer Velcro though for its infinite adjustability. Overall, a comfortable, well made boot.

Great Casual Protective Boots
I was looking for something that would look good with a pair of jeans and not look like dedicated motorcycle boots (like something you would wear with racing leathers). ICON hit a homerun with these boots. Just looking at them you would never think they are designed for motorcycle riding. They look like a cool pair of casual brown designer sneakers, but they provide good protection of the ankle and foot.
I have only had them for a few weeks so I can't really comment on their durability. Because of this I can't comment on the price either. If these boots are built to last then I would say they are well worth the price tag, but only time will tell.

They look like casual shoes...
They look like casual shoes but offer nice protection and features for riding, like the toe ridges for a sold feel on the shift lever.
One issue during break in was the toe box, which was putting pressure on my pinky toe, very uncomfortably so. This went away after about 2 weeks of break in.
Also I usually wear a size 9.5 or 10 US mens, however had to go down to a size 9 for this boot. So it is cut a bit bigger than i expected. Going down a size helped the boot fit more snugly so the heel does not pop out of the heel area when walking.

Exception fit, comfort and style
I wear these boots everytime I ride. When I get off the bike I usually leave them on until I need to take them off. They are that comfortable!

Better than Expected
Purchased these boots after looking at other options prior to a long ride into the hill country. The boot breaths very well and you will feel it along the perforations. It runs about a half size large, however, I welcomed the extra room in the event I travel in colder weather.
I like wearing jeans and was surprised at how well they went with them. I am not a fashion guru by any means but also received compliments on the styling. I am not a cowboy boot kind of guy and would prefer tennis shoes but realize the risks.
The buckle is an added safety feature I enjoy, however it tends to dig into the ankle if strapped to tight. I am hoping once the leather becomes more weathered it will become more flexible. Consider this depending on the position of your feet on the bike.
Overall the boot is great, but a bit expensive.
