Does what it's supposed to.
This is a good product to use in relatively safe areas. It really wouldn't take much for someone to steal the helmet if they really wanted to. It is very convenient for quick stops. The combination lock is very easy to set.

It's a lock
This lock works well. I haven't had any problems with it. It feels a little cheap but gives you the little bit of security that you were looking for.

This lock worked as advertised
I only used it a few times and it worked fine. Reprogramming the combination was simple. I like the rubber coating and it will help to keep scratching the motor bikes Finnish. It was worth the extra money.

Simple and fast
Simple and fast best describes this lock. In no way will it stop even a mildly determined thief, but it will dissuade a casual thief in plain/public view.
The features are all as advertised and I use the product often. I just wouldn't count on it (or any similar product) when parked in a dark or out of the way area.
Other than that it's a handy little item.

Nice light helmet lock, but get the cable.
This is a nice lightweight helmet lock. on the web page the description and reviews made me think it came with the cable to run through your coat sleeve etc. it does not, Cable is another 7 bucks but well worth it. When i called Revzilla and got the whole thing straightened out the sent me the cable without charging me for shipping. Great customer service,

Product provides peace of mind
I researched a lot to find a good solution not to have to carry my helmet everywhere I went. The options for my bike were very limited.
Helmetlok can be attached to the handles on the back of my bike, it is a little bit hard to get on and off because the bars are thick. I do feel safe leaving my helmet on the bike with this product, but I wouldn't want to leave it out more than necessary.
I would definitely spend the extra bucks and get the rubberized version, it's a lot cheaper than fixing a scratched bike.

Convenient
I have had this lock for over a year and have not had any problems. I love that it is small enough to fit in my pocket and doesn't permanently attach to my bike or force me to attach my helmet to the rear set. Like most locks, this lock is a theft deterrent and will not stop a determined thief. The cable lets me attach my helmet, jacket, tank bag, and back pack to the bike. It's convenient, simple to use, reliable, and I highly recommend it.

Easy to use and practical
I used it for some time after the purchase and it works great. Compact enough to be stored in the jacket pockets and big enough to be hanged to the handlebar through the chin strap. A good option if you don't have a case and you don't want to carry the helmet with you.
