Held Rain Storm Gloves 4.5 5 14 14
Great fit, waterproof except for extreme conditions. I rode from West Chester, PA to Rutland, VT last month on mostly back roads. The mileage for the day was 380, with moderate to heavy rain for about 340 of them. My hands did not feel wet until the very last part of the ride. The gloves offer great protection and are very comfortable. I heartily recommend them. August 19, 2013
Great waterproof template weather glove What to expect: 1. Really nicely built. Excellent materials and attention to details. 2. Waterproof (tested) 3. True to size. After a short break-in period, they fit nicely. The thumb is just a tad too long. 4. Even though they are thick, they give a reasonable feel of controls 5. They'll keep you hands warm down to 35º (average street-riding, Barkbuster's Storm handguards). You could probably go further down (highway) with heated grips. As they are quite breathable, you could also comfortably use them in warm weather. Do not expect: 1. A sub-zero/winter glove. There are much better options, with much thicker padding. 2. Bling. They are quite straight forward, no nonsense gloves. They just do the job. Overall I'm quite satisfied, as they reunite much of the features I've been searching for. July 18, 2013
Worth the extra $$$ Complete honesty: I love the gloves, and I hate that they are made in China. Held was one of the last strongholds for the Made In Germany legend - what happened? These gloves are not 'made in China' cheaply priced either, so what gives? I would happily pay more for Made In Germany as the quality and attention to detail is just better, always. Ok, that said, there must have been Germans around in the Chinese factory, because these gloves are really good. High-tech and light protection provided by the newest materials in a sensible and well-fitted way. They are comfortable, and waterproof just as claimed. Even today I rode in to work in gushing rain, dry hands. The fit on the fingers is very good, very light and very comfortable. This glove is a great Street, Touring and possibly off road glove, would not use it on the track though. On the con side, the gauntlet is a bit short, but its not a major problem. Wish it were Kangaroo leather though, at the $150 price point I would have expected that. May 7, 2013
What great gloves! I was looking for a pair of gloves that would work for spring, fall and rainy weather during the summer and being a Held glove fanatic (I have 4 other pairs), I went with these and couldn't be happier. They are excellent 21/2 season gloves. Warm enough to go down into the 40's, especially with my heated grips, yet not too hot for the 60's. The fit is perfect and the construction excellent. Only thing really missing would be a hard knuckle protector, but that would make it less comfortable and I do like the Superfabric in the heel. All in all a great glove and I wish I would have waited for the closeout, but even at the regular price an excellent deal. May 6, 2013
This is a quality glove that can be used on a wide range of temperatures. I recently had the opportunity to test this gloves on a trip from Atlanta to New Orleans (~500miles each way). I got significant rain as well as a wide temperature range. From 31 to 70ºF. They performed very well. They are not for cold weather, but with silk glove liners & grip heaters, they kept me warm. I'd argue that mid 40's without any extra support is the best you can expect from them. Anyway, this was above my expectation. They were totally dry inside despite heavy rain. Obviously one needs to place the cuffs inside the jacket to avoid water from running inside the glove. And, the cuff have the perfect length to be over or under the jacket. They are very comfortable and the only reason I did not give them a 5 star rating was that one could feel the stitching inside the middle finger. I was ok because of the extra finger length, but not what I expect from 150$ gloves. Handling of all controls was fine and the palm is thin enough to feel the heat from the grips - I ride a BMWGS1200. I see them as my main gloves for all seasons, as I don't usually ride below freezing. March 25, 2013
Great gloves for in-between season This seems like a good first pair of gloves to being the riding season in the spring. March 18, 2013
Nice didnt use them on a rainy day yet but for now, in a mid cold weather, i can feel the cold in the tops of my fingers(and it is only 18 Deg c!!!). fits very good in my hands and feels good. second inner closing is too tight and hard to fit. not worth the bucks!!! November 27, 2012
Excellent non-insulated rain glove They fit very nice, I don't need to remove them to get the CC out while fueling or taking my helmet on and off. Very good for a water proof glove!! November 5, 2012

Held Sizing Guide

Held Glove Fitment Tips

Held gloves should fit snugly when new. They will stretch out during break in and form to fit your hand.

If you have long fingers, but a relatively narrow palm you should order a size up as the size chart does not account for finger length.

Please note, if your hand measures toward the upper limit of the size measurements, the gloves will fit very snugly. If you prefer that your gloves do not fit so snugly, you may want to select the next size larger. Held kangaroo gloves are a very precise fit. Because Held gloves are such a fitted glove, many people enjoy the snug fit. This is actually very comfortable, with few wrinkles and little crumpling in the palm area.

A properly fitted Held will "fit you like a glove".
