They come in tall sizes!

Too bad Held doesn't provide any measurements or size chart. I'm 5'11" and all leg, and my jean size is 12 or 14 (long!) depending on the style. Tall sizes are a rarity so I decided to just guess. I ordered the LDL first. They were too small - I'd say they were a smallish size 10. So I sent them back and got the LDXL. Once I took out the insulated liner and the hip armor, they fit quite comfortably. Call them a size 12. If there was a LDXXL I'd have ordered those instead. No surprise, really - most women's motorcycling gear runs small.
The material and workmanship are not terrible, but they're nowhere near the standard set by the marvelous Held gloves. They have really strong fasteners, with a zipper AND velcro AND a heavy snap AND a sturdy hook. They aren't going to pop open anytime soon. There are cinching straps at the waist, so I can pull the waist in and stop them gapping in back. The knee armor is adjustable and I was able to position it low enough to give a decent fit. The cuffs are too bulky to wear inside my boots, but too small to zip over my boots - but my boots are heavily armored. The pants would probably zip over boots with less armor just fine. I wear them with the cuffs unzipped and they don't flap around, so I can live with that.
All in all, they're fairly generic riding pants, and inexpensive for what you get - a pretty good value. The tall sizes are what really makes them special. If you're tall, buy them now; you're not going to get a better choice anytime soon.
