Good glove for the price.
Been riding with these for about a year, both street and track. Tested them out at 40-50mph at the track this weekend, lowsided and slid on the palms. Gloves held up well, the "superfabric" appears to have taken a good bit of the slide with little damage. Leather palms are rashed also, but leather still feel pretty thick.

I'm sure my slide shortened their lifespan, but I'll keep riding with them in their current condition.

Does it all for a fair price
I have owned the gloves since April 2015. Right out of the bag I was impressed with the quality of materials and overall craftsmanship. The gloves took about 1,000 miles to break in as they were tight in the thumb area. For my hand all the fingers were cut very well. The gloves also survived a small low side at about 35 mph with no damage to my hand or wrist and the gloves are completely fine as well which is very confidence inspiring. Overall, if you're looking for a high quality glove with great control feel, good air flow, and a glove-like fit this should be a set to consider. The kangaroo leather is not just hype, it truly makes a difference.

Held is the Best! Period!
Best darn gloves on the market. My second pair of Held's and they're excellent. Knuckle protection is exactly where it should be for comfort and protection. The look is fabulous. I've warn Arlen Ness, Alpine Stars, Olympia, and Dianese. Held are just the best.

Bee's knee's...
This is a major upgrade from my previous glove (Icon’s Fourty Niner glove). I ordered these out of paranoia of scraping up my wrist and that I will be doing a few track days in the future (tracks normally require gauntlet gloves). Out of the packaging there were a few strands coming off of the stitching which im sure will be a problem in the future (hopefully no time soon). For the most part I like this glove and would purchase them again when I'm in the market for a new set.

Pro’s: Feels like a quality glove, sturdy. Great exterior padding. The kangaroo skin on the palm gives you so much more feeling in your fingers. Ventilation is ok, havent experienced any sweat after long rides. Great coverage over the wrist.

Con’s: Very tight for the first few rides. I still have a heck of a time pulling the left glove off. (Im assuming my left hand is slightly bigger than my right).

Top Quality from Held
These are amazing gloves in every way! On my 2nd pair now, as 1st one went thru a get-off. They are still OK, but I decided to replace them anyway, they fully protected me as my hands were sliding down the pavement! These gloves just FEEL right, perfect fit, design, and great style. I ride a sport tourer (FJR), these are in between a race and touring glove. A bit sporty for sure. Very well thought out protection and design features.

Great Gloves.
I don't get reviews where people complain about the sizes. Either they fit you or they don't, send them back if they don't. Other people have different hands, so what? They are a bit tight compared to other size 10 gloves I have, but as they are leather they will stretch and adjust over time. They are very comfortable for me right out of the box.

Regarding seams: they have seams on the outside, not the inside, so I'm surprised somebody mentioning seems being an issue, there is no issue at all here.

The super fabric protection pads take some time getting used to, but I knew this from the Held Agadir I have as well.

Overall, these are very good gloves, I would buy exactly the same again if I lost/damaged mine. The price in the US is high though compared to Europe. The same glove is 90EUR before tax in Germany, so the US get some pretty high pricing unfortunately.

Love the glove
Had a pair of Held "Steves" that needed replacing and I liked the step up in protection of the hard knuckle guard. The Steves were size 8.5 and these 9's are still a little tight so I would say the sizes run small. haven't had them long but I'm really happy so far. I requested an email alert as the gloves weren't available at first and to their credit Revzilla honored the original price and delivered quickly. All in all a very good experience.

Good fit for larger hands. Loaded with tech.
Having a size 12 hand makes buying high-quality gloves hard. I've had Held gloves for over 10 years now alongside Alpinestars and Held seems to know "American" hands best. I tried a pair of Alpinestar SP1 in the largest size offered, but alas, there were still issues with my "meathooks." The pre-curve of the EVOs is very good with minimal bunching in the palms. Because these are not lined, getting them on and off during a long day becomes harder as they become sweat-soaked (or just wet), but they provide a direct connection with the bike! The external seams on the fingers give you an immediately comfortable fit and it only gets better with break-in miles. I was caught in rain on a couple of rides and got NO dye bleeding. As the gloves dried they molded to my hands and are now like a second skin. One drawback of external seams; manipulation of buttons and small controls takes some diligence. The main switchgear is no problem. The double cuff closure is effective and retention seems to be good with the wrist strap comfortablely tight. They breathe well via the ventilated panels between the fingers without compromising protection. Beware...the superfabric on the palm heels will scratch paint if you are prone to resting your hand on the tank. It's not immediate, but it can happen. The temperature during my riding with these gloves so far has been 54-88 degrees (f) and they have been comfortable. I'm not so sure about my color selection, yet. The white parts may not stand up to road grime very well, but the contrast of the red/white/black increases "conspicuity" in my opinion, if only in daylight. I expect long life with these gloves, as I got from my other Helds.

Good VFM but slightly off sizing
Being a Held Phantom II user and someone who swears by the quality of the Phantom, when it was time for me to get a pair of touring and street use gloves decided to pick up the Evo Thrux as it fit right into my budget. The Phantoms meanwhile continue to serve me trackday duties.
The Evo Thrux has the same quality build as the bigger Helds with the Superfabric protectors feeling good and reliable. Airflow is good and so is the color quality. Obviously you dont get the carbon-fibre or titanium bits like the Phantoms but these are worth the money one pays for them.
One thing off about the Evo Thrux is the sizing. Not too much but definitely a bit off and in a wierd way. I am a size 9.5 in the Phantom IIs and they fit perfect (other than the hulk sized thumb). I ordered the Evo Thrux in a size 9 and while the fingers fit perfect on length, the pinky finger is again too loose. Also the palm area feels too tight. This makes putting the gloves on and off a bit of a chore. It is not uncomfortable in any way but then its not perfect around the palm either. Maybe it will break-in with use and become better

Great Construction
I originally purchased these gloves for upcoming track days. I may still use them but think a more robust glove will be in order such as the Phantom series.

The sizing is spot on and as some have mentioned the fingers run a little long. I actually prefer this only as most of my other gloves tend to be short and I find this irritating when the tips of my fingers are shoved to the end of the gloves.

Stitching on these gloves are great and they really don't let the seams rub your fingers from that flat stitch construction.

The goat skin palm is fantastic and really allows almost like skin contact to the controls. Fit and finish on these gloves is top notch and worth the money.

I would say that the protection is up there and generally overall great for sport riding but someone looking for a dedicated track glove would want something with a little more bulk and harder protection.

Current pair that I use have lasted 4 years and I commute 100 miles every day. The only time I do not wear these gloves is when it gets below 50 degrees, so I wear these gloves every day for about 7 or 8 months every year. They have lasted and fit perfect after initial break-in.

Best Held glove without a gore tex liner for the street. Also I did not want a perforated palm. The Race-Tex GoreTex glove was a close second. But I feel they would of been two warm for me.

From what I can see online it has a sleek look and slim profile (not bulky like some other gloves). I like the colors, the vents are a plus for me and the 'super fabric' seems interesting. Hopefully it all works out.

Heard good things about HELD from friends that use them. I also like that these have the soft kangaroo leather on the palm. I tried them on and they fit much better than my prior gloves, which didn't have a good finger length for my hands.
Royce K on Jan 11, 2015
The reputation and feedback from others who have used Held gloves. Must try them myself. Looking for lighter gauntlet with more feel than what I currently have, which feels like boxing gloves at times. UPDATE: Measured my hand according to the sizing chart. Hands were a little wider than 9", so ordered next size up - 10. Received gloves, but glove fingers almost an inch too long, quite tight around knuckle joints. Knuckle protector extends well beyond width of my hand, so returning for 9.
Chuxter on Oct 30, 2014
Wanted more protection than the current short cuff gloves I was wearing. Held gloves seem to be a winner for most people.

I've worn Held gloves for 10 years, just ordering my third pair. Apparently they tend to last about 5 years even though I'm hard on gloves. I wear them in the rain touring and commuting, in the dirt while dual sporting, pretty much everywhere and they hold up while offering a level of protection I like.

Replacement summer glove for my pair of Held Agadairs which are fantastic and have 18K miles on them with only some wear showing along both index fingers. Held has been my glove of choice for all seasons and riding styles over the past 2 decades, and I am a firm believer that head & hand protection are worth the expense for quality, comfort, and protection.

RE: Held Evo Thrux - considering buying - would be first time for Held - curious about sizing. Sized hand at 9.5-9.75 - should I go with their Large or E. Large? Have Cortech Adrenaline 2 and am comfortable in their large. Any help appreciated. - Jeff
A shopper on Jun 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: These gloves run on the small size. I am usually a size M in everything, which tends to be a bit oversized on me. I measured my hand and am a size 9 in Held gloves. I ordered the size 9 and, like others, found that they were definitely tighter than my last pair of gloves (SPIDI) but they broke in nicely. They are now perfect. So expect a tight fit at first but trust their scale and the capacity for the glove to "break-in".
is this a beefier version of the awesome air stream? looks to have a more significant gauntlet and protection higher up while still flowing a lot of air?
A shopper on Jan 20, 2012
BEST ANSWER: i went to held usa to try on gloves with the intention of buying the air streams. when i asked the salesman about them he described them as "cheap chinese garbage" (although the evo thrux are made in pakistan) and directed me to the evo thrux. essentally, these are more track oriented and more protective. in order to get some venting with the thrux, i have to take my hand off the handle bars and hold it out from behind the fairing but thats no biggie to me.

if you are worried about heat, go with the held agadir (airstreams < agadir < thrux). they are more protective than the air streams.

just one mans opinion
Would these gloves be warm in about 35 degree weather, and are they water proof?
A shopper on Sep 4, 2012
BEST ANSWER: I would say no to both. My fingers go numb after 5 minutes at 5C (40F) but I may be a bit sensitive!
I've found they are water resistant in light rain but after 30 minutes of moderate rain at city speeds (ie. slow) they are soaked through.
Is the glove stitching nylon or Kevlar?
A shopper on Aug 24, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The Held EVO Thrux Gloves have Nylon stitching throughout, however the upper portion of the gloves have Kevlar panels.
