Great GoPro Mount The GoPro Suction mount works exactly how I need it do. It's a very strong mount. I've attached it to the gas tank, to the upper cowling, and to the side cowling and have gone up to 80 mph with it. I did attach it to the side of my MATTE surface helmet. I knew it was a sketchy idea, but I tried it anyway. It fell off while I was going about 30 mph. The mount is still very usable and the GoPro, of course, was unharmed. September 29, 2014
Works great I was very skeptical to have a suction cup mount hold my $400 camera. Well it hasn't fallen off yet. I've used it a few times on my dodge as a "coal cam" to smoke out Prius' and it's worked flawlessly. It doesn't bounce around or anything. My 1 ton suspension isn't the smoothest riding out there and this held up great. Just follow the directions and clean off the mounting location. November 11, 2013
GoPro Suction Mount I had the old mount that came with the Hero 2 and broke the suction cup. This replacement is actually more sturdy and the base is less rounded which makes it easier to hold in place while mounting. Do not expect to fully extend this thing and have it in the wind at 150mph without a REALLY blurry image... it's made to be stuck to the inside of a car windshield. Having said that it does well stuck to the inside of my adv bike's windscreen and on the saddlebag. I still use a lanyard when mounted to the bag and I'm glad I did; it fell off once and was hanging by the strap. To be fair I've mounted this in several locations on my Formula 2 sidecar racer and been clocked at 157mph and it hasn't ever come off while on the track. The only downside is the thumbscrew contacts the camera housing while tightening/loosening. On the up side you can find some really cool angles with all the adjustability. October 1, 2013
its nice but Well i got this to record track days so i could see my position on my bike and just record laps. Well it works great seems to stay put ...But California Superbike School wont let them on the track during the school ..when asked they said they come off a lil to often..( yes it could be that they just not put on right )...i did use it during the lunch break when i get to ride without students and had no problem..other than when mounted on the tank it was to tall had to keep my head up a lil higher when gettin under the windshield September 1, 2013
Strong suction cup I use mine to place on the windshield of my HD Ultra with my Hero3 camera attached to it to capture the road and twistis for a clear picture. May 27, 2013
Holds very well, leaves no marks. I was looking for a removable mount option for my go pro. The suction cup attaches very securely. I am paranoid so I attached a lanyard, but have not had it come loose yet. Convex, and concave smooth surfaces, it has held secure for 200+ miles. May 27, 2013

ATIF I: Yes you can on the flatter part where there is no design artifacts. But its a bit big. I woukd still go with the helmet attacment piece. I woukd install the little bases and just leave them there.. one on top, one right one left. My helmet is black and it actually like part of it and adds some extra rigging design wise. Mar 24, 2015

Hien T: The suction cup will NOT attach to your helmet securely. Use any pieces with the 3M Scotch tape to secure the GoPro to the side of your helmet. The cup is meant for larger surfaces such as the gas tank on your bike or side panels of cars. Mar 25, 2015

Colby M: Possibly? But it would be way too bulky. And since the helmet isn't flat I'm not sure how well itd stick in high winds. Just get the helmet one Mar 25, 2015

Keith G: I wouldn't advise this. I use the adhesive mount on my helmet and it holds the GoPro securely at any speed. Mar 24, 2015
