Givi Monokey Trekker Case

Available in two versions, with a capacities of 46 LT ( TRK46N) and 33 LT (TRK33N), the new TREKKER bags are the best solution for the bikes equipped with exhaust pipes only on one side. Buy affixing the smaller bag to the side with the exhaust pipe , and the larger on the other, in many cases you can solve the issue of asymmetry (a problem that you might find using traditional side bags). Thanks to special selectors placed inside the bags, you can convert each version to either to fully open the entire lid or only the uppermost smaller opening (very practical for quickly accessing items from the bag, avoiding any ill timed spilling the whole contents). Elaborately trimmed in steel foil, these bags are not necessarily specific to just enduro bikes, they can also be a luxurious accessory on the elegant ones. This peculiar diversity sold in a single unique package, combined with its ability to be used as a top case on the Monokey plates, gives to the customer the opportunity to choose the best combination to mount to the bike in order to suit his/her space needs.

Nice looking but heavy.
I bought two non-matching keyed cases because the matched key pairs were out of stock. It's a pain to carry an extra key and only two keys are given. An extra third on would have been nice.
Overall the cases seem very durable with it's thick plastic walls. The metal siding seems to be brushed aluminium, not stainless steel. I bumped the case into something and it left a small dent so it was rather soft.
The cases do look nice but the storage capacity is not that large compared to how much each box weighs. They are quite stylish thought and it's nice to have the option of opening from side or the top.
I have yet to test them on an extended trip and don't doubt they would work well however I would question if they would survive much more intense rides where someone would lay their bike down on the side.

Ready to travel...
We used this Give Trekker as a top box on a new Triumph Tiger Explorer. It blends with the bike and the OEM panniers. It's a keeper.

Great product, great service
I've been looking for a reason to shop at Revzilla and this Givi case fit the bill. The price was the best I could find and the delivery was not only free, it was really fast. The install was pretty straight forward. The side clips on the case get a little sticky, but they are secure.
I just took my first adventure ride this weekend and left my panniers at home and only took this case. I bought the liner that goes in it and it fit, two shirts, under stuff, socks, my laptop, cords and a few other items not problem. I took the bag into the hotel which freed up the case to carry my camera equipment and other items for the day. I almost wish I had gone with these as side panniers, but I have already purchased and install those. I am considering buying additional Givi top cases because they will fit the stand. When I do, Revzilla will be my first stop.

Exactly what I was looking for
Fit perfectly on my F700GS mounted to my Altrider rack. Slides right on and locks securely. Goes well with my Vario side cases.

This is a well made addition to any bike
I this the fit, look and style of these is Top Notch. They look expensive and enhance the overall look of your machine. The only downside is they are not like keyed. You have to order the 2 pack if you want like keyed cases. This will result in an additional spend for the like key set.

Nice luggage set for the money.
I had a lot of questions about these but no solid review before I purchased. I was concerned the 33 liter side cases would not be big enough. It turned out they are very big. I got the three box set for my 2007 V Storm. Top case is a 42 litre. Total kit was 1187.00 from revzilla. Shipping was very fast and free I might add. If you really wanted big storage, you could get the 42 litre boxes for the sides and the 52 litre top box. Your going to be really wide though. I had to drill holes to fit the bracket for the top box rack.They ride very well. Keys are very big and you always have to have them to get into the boxes. That is kinda annoying. Instructions are in Italian. Looking at the pictures, you can install them but really, come on Givi! I have had them on the bike about a month and pretty happy with fit and finish. They are very versatile.

Great looks, fantastic product
I am really happy that I bought a pair of 33's for my Super Tenere. I agree with all positive comments from previous reviews and I have only one thing to add... It's way too easy to scratch it. I thought the aluminum finish would be a tough nice looking feature, but I already got 3 big scratches on it... I'm careful with all my gear (my wife even jokes about it) and still got the scratches. A slight bump is enough to make you fell miserable for having a permanent memory of it.
That would be my only "bad" thing about this great product.

Lot of bang for a lot of bucks
I was on the fence about going Givi or going bullet-proof, full welded aluminum. I decided to get the product for the life I live rather than the life I dream...I commute 250+ days a year on my F800GS, and I joy ride as much as my wife lets me (rarely). So, I opted for the Trekker 46 mounted to the E194. Fit and finish top notch. Unit is very secure and I'm not worried about losing it in any situation short of a crash. Will it survive a drop on the trail? Maybe, but it pops on and off in 5 seconds, keeps my stuff dry and looks good. $250-$275 would be a better price point for this case, but you get what you pay for.

Do the Trekkers work with the SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock EVO Sidecarrier?
I have seen pictures that look like they work and I like the quick on/off feature of the EVO rack whereas the Givi rack looks to be more permanent. Bike is a Honda NC700X that I am working on outfitting.
The thing that makes me wonder is that your videos show three mount points in a triangular formation on the Trekker while the EVO seems to have four mount points in a square.

Provided that you have the clearance for the Trekker case, then you should be able to use your existing PL188 side mounts since both the E21 and the Trekker cases use a Monokey mounting system. Generally if you stick with the same case type (IE Monokey or Monolock) then you can use the same mounts. The exception would be the V35 side cases, which have their own special mounting system. Also, some top cases require different Monorack arms as well, so be sure to call our Gear Geeks if you have any doubts when trying to add a top case.http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...
