Givi Monokey Trekker Case
I love this box
Clean look, lots of storage space, don't even notice it is on the bike when driving. I am a commuter in Seattle and needed something that could keep my gear dry during our long and wet winters... This box is definitely made for it.

Easy to install and reasonable price. Glad I bought the 46L and not the larger 52L it would have been too large for my needs. No problems with the key locking assembly as noted by others but it does take a little force to engage the rear connector.

Exactly as advertised
I use my KLR to commute and I wanted a simple 'trunk' to put my work gear in and to stuff my helmet and jacket in when needed.
The top / or side configuration option was key for me. I am perfectly happy with this case, though I may convert it to a side case and opt for a 52 ltr topcase. Thankfully the Trekker makes this easy.
One quirk is the closure mechanism can be finicky. I've had it jam a few times since it has to catch first on one side before actually latching on the key side. If you miss that first catch, you have to force it to get the latch to release. Its a user error, but they kinda set us up for it.
Minor complaint though. I definitely recommend the case and will be buying at least one more Monokey in the future.

Givi trekker luggage is awesome. Givi is very proud of their products as you can tell by the price. However, Revzilla has the best price available. Fast shipping and easy returns! Thanks Revzilla.

Quality cases with great storage capacity
A good quality set of cases that complement my Givi rack system and Altrider rack. Fit and finish is excellent and the look suits my 2012 Tiger 800.

I already have the regular 46 litre rounded case with mount as a top box and have admired this one for being more stylish. I am not a fan of metal top cases I prefer something with rounded corners made of plastic in event of an accident. This fits the bill. Though smaller the shape is more usable than the more egg shap offerings. The option to fully open or partially open is nice. You can mash rain gear or a sweater in there without having to worry about difficult closing every time you access it. Could make a very nice side bag for street applications. Not sure about really aggressive dual sport applications but at least as strong as the BMW vario cases. I also like the central handle which makes popping it off for a motel room much better than hauling the big egg. Better two when you use it as luggage in a hotel. The old egg shape is not steady on a table or such. My only gripe is to latch or unlock the main latch requires a key. I don't really need to lock it when I am with the bike. Way too many times with this design I forget and leave the key in the lock. Fortunately it does not ever fall out. I just get concerned citizens trying to tell me a key is hanging off the back. On another bike the top box key was lost a decade ago and works just fine. They really should design it so key can be removed in the latched position without the lock activated. Overlooking that one defect am I glad I bought It? Yes

Easy mounting with good storage
Ive only owned this 46L trekker case for about a month now. I am using it as a top case on my 2013 GS and I am happy with it so far. It seems pretty tough and is fairly light. The lock requires the key to stay in the cylinder while locking. You cannot take the key out and then close the latch. Not a big deal. I have Touratech panniers and wanted to save some money on the topcase so I bought the trekker. I saved close to $400 over the Touratech topcase and that makes me happy, especially after receiving the trekker case. It does everything a good topcase should without emptying your wallet.

Logically engineered by being durable, easy to use and good-looking.
Buying these cases came after several months of researching what would work best on my Triumph Tiger 800. Cost was a consideration as well as side cases that would comfortably fit what I carry for rides going for several days. I've had them for more than a month and they've been on several two-day rides. They did what I wanted. They are durable, easy to remove and install and the flip top makes getting at things like a camera effortless. I did modify them by painting the aluminum flat black. The aluminum looked out of place on the Tiger.
