Adjustable width fits bikes without — and with — luggage racks
Multiple lash points for additional dry bags and gear
2 large bellowed pockets (fits 2-liter fuel bottles)
Love these bags ...
I ordered these for a 1600-miler and just finished yesterday. These bags were great. The fit and finish was spot on. Installation was simple and the bags stayed right where they needed to be even at speeds up to 110mph (yes, we got stopped but the cool Texas State Trooper let us off with warnings).
Based on my experience with this product, I'd buy anything from Giant Loop!

well built soft luggage.
Great bags! The foot peg securing straps are surprisingly stiff though. I would recommend this luggage to anyone looking for soft bags.

The GL Panniers are great if you need to haul a lot of "stuff"
When I started looking for saddle bags for my KLR650 I wanted maximum carrying space without having to install side racks and invest in metal boxes. The GL Panniers offered everything I was looking for. I haven't had a chance to ride in the rain yet but the dry bags that come with the panniers are a nice touch and offer double protection. Construction overall is robust and they're very easy to put on and take off the bike. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Like the size and shape, can stuff a lot in them, and like the lid and liter compartments,
Don't like the large flaps made to cross over seat, I cut most of it away to put under seat, there are other straps on them that I used to make up for what I cut off.
Don't like that they are not water proof without using supplied dry bags, and they are kind of a pain to get into when using the multi layer openings they've designed.
Beyond that they are growing on me some (except for the price).

Wade S: I'm using this bag on a KTM 690. It has been field tested by Noah (RoninMoto) on his around the world ride. Works very well with the Rally Raid luggage rack. PVC construction is extremely durable. I've been trapped when I had hard bags on a bike, so soft luggage has become my pannier of choice.Sep 26, 2014
Lee C: I have trashed every hard aluminum pannier that I have taken real off-road ADV riding we will see how these hold up: I like my other GL productsMay 18, 2014
charle w: First seen them on Pro Cycle, crazy 1000 dollars, but it did come with a giant loop bag. I haven't seen much that will work on my XR650. Hope these are worth 600+ dollars. Why? Lost my mind!Apr 11, 2014
Michael M: I have the Fandango tank bag and the products are solid. I need more storage other than my E55 Givi topcase for an upcoming trip and much prefer soft luggage. Giant loop seems like a no brainer.Sep 9, 2013
A shopper asked:Will this work an a BMW R1200GSw, with no racks? Looks the the exhaust might be a problem, even with the heat shields.Aug 23, 2015
glen i:It's hard to say. It depends on your riding type. For offroad I would recommend a rack to stabilize the bags. For on road, it may not be important. Exhaust is probably not the issue since there many ways to isolate the bags from heat (ceramic blanket or the heat shield from GL is very effective)Aug 23, 2015
