Giant Loop Diablo Pro Tank Bag

The Giant Loop Diablo Tank Bag Pro upgrades are similar to its larger cousin, the Fandango Tank Bag PRO, while remaining true to its minimalist, slim, trim design, all in a 4 liter capacity.

An electronics pass-through enables on-bike charging and power inside the tank bag and/or the clear vinyl map pocket top. Full interior lining with hook-and-loop accepting fabric, movable divider with elastic tire pressure gauge holder, exterior mesh pocket and D-ring mounts for new optional Buckin’ Roll pannier pockets (2 liters each side) are key new features.

Fuel fills are now easily accessed by simply unzipping either side from the harness, and the concave front allows vent hoses to breath. Fits virtually any motorcycle, including dirt, dual sport, adventure and sport machines with metallic or non-metallic tanks/shrouds.

Fit my Tiger 800 perfectly! I was reluctant to buy a tank bag, because I thought they were intrusive, and the Tiger already has a very tall tank. But now I know how convenient and essential a tank bag is. I could have probably even fit the Fandango, but I am completely satisfied with the Diablo. Construction is top notch. I highly recommend the "pro" model for the electronic cable pass through. March 2, 2015
Excellent choice for any adv bike. I downgraded from a BMW huge tank bag to this and I must say it's an upgrade for me in terms of performance and simplicity. Makes you take only the things you really need and leave the others at home or in your rear side cases. I've been through a few rain storms and yes it does get a bit damp in sections but I haven't seam sealed the bag so I'm curious if that'll waterproof it. Overall I'm very happy with how it fits my needs. Highly recommend it. October 20, 2014
Compact tank bag Works well very compact, live the ease if openin easily and the flip over feature for gassing up. It sure beats the total removal of a factory bag on a GS. October 14, 2014
Great tank bag, but not close to water tight I have about 1500 miles on the bike using this tank bag. I purchased it for a KTM 690 Duke. Great size for food, water, air gauge, earplugs, heat controller, etc. Small enough that I don't notice it when riding, but just big enough for everything I want direct access to. Comes with about 10' of extra straps that need to be cut and burned once installed. The ads indicate "water-resistant" zippers, but be forewarned, with anything more than a brief shower at slow speeds, this bag gets very wet inside. If there is any chance of real rain, particularly at highway speeds, better put stuff in plastic bags. Otherwise, high quality construction and great fit for my bike. The mounting harness allows very quick and easy access to the tank for refueling, and the bag can be taken on and off the bike in no time. Excellent design if your fuel fill is right under the bag. The Right Tank Bag Functional, durable and unimposing. I HATE tank bags that extend up to my chin, hang off the edges of my tank, or crowd me on the seat. What I want from a tank bag is a place to put a map where I can see it, and storage for essentials that I want easy access to; cell phone, glasses, water bottle, pen, ear plugs, chap stick, power bars, cap, face shield microfiber rag...... I do not use a tank bag for luggage. The Giant Loop Diablo Pro qualifies is every way, plus it is constructed so that it is easy to reach the gas cap filler, and it is easy to clean and maintain--just hose it down. Suits my needs completely. October 1, 2014
Tough Stuff I'm new to the sport but my adventure riding enabling buddies are not. We were shocked when we were setting up my bike for my maiden adventure. The lower straps that attach the bag to the frame were too short! I ride a KTM 990. That must be 50% of the people who buy this bag. However, it was a quick fix. I just went to a camping store and bought some extra straps, cut the existing in a cautious place, and problem solved. It's just super frustrating. They charge a premium for the bag but save a few pennies (maybe less) by cutting the straps too short. Okay, back to the bag itself...AWESOME. It's not huge but that's why I bought it. I don't smash my n_ts when I'm stand up riding. Fit and finish are second to none. September 1, 2014
Great tank bag, fits my KTM 690 perfectly. I like the build quality and the materials seem/feel top notch as far as longevity and durability go. It was cake to mount this up on my KTM 690 and is really the perfect footprint for it. I haven't done any aggressive off-road riding with this thing on the bike yet, but it hasn't moved and it doesn't get in my way. Zips on/off the bike in a flash, and the pass through cable feature is awesome. About the only think I can complain about is that the material under the clear cover (which I'm using to store/charge my Android phone) is black, and the other day while I was out and about with temps only in the lower 80s, I pulled my phone out to find that it was in "Cool Down Mode". Never seen that before... But it was hot in there and the phone was hot. Maybe a color besides black would be a better choice so as not to turn the "map case" into an oven! Other pro: Its much more fun to make a run to the beer store on the bike than in the truck. This thing will hold a 6 pack of bottles in case you were wondering. (* tip, take them out of the box/carrier they come in) =) August 18, 2014
Very functional and well thought out. Only used the Diablo Pro for a couple weeks but so far I am very pleased. The size is perfect for daily commuting. The pass through ports to the main bag and map pocket work well. Like the orange color for my KTM 950 ADV. Much easier than my old bag to zip on and off the bike. Will probably need to be removed or covered when parked in a heavy rain, and for the price a rain cover would have been nice. I found a shower cap will work. July 21, 2014

Joe W: I chose the Diablo Pro bag because of the solid construction, the integration with the Pannier Pockets and the smaller 4 liter size. I wanted a tank bag that would hold the smaller essentials and not get in my way while riding. The curved bottom, gas cap cutout, and ability to zip off the base is desireable as well. Oct 24, 2014
