Giant Loop Diablo Tank Bag Pro
Quite a great product
Lovesize and ease of installation
Not as waterproof as I expected. After a day riding under light shower in Alaska, the map was wet and other stuff stored inside too.
Tank of the motorcycle was scuffed even though the bag was tightly attached.

Use this on my Husqvarna 501S. Looks large when off the bike but when riding, even single track you don't know it's there. Only gripe is that it's not waterproof but is water "resistant". Pricey for what it is but...I'm satisfied with it and would buy it again. It would be perfect if water "proof".

Fit my Tiger 800 perfectly!
I was reluctant to buy a tank bag, because I thought they were intrusive, and the Tiger already has a very tall tank. But now I know how convenient and essential a tank bag is. I could have probably even fit the Fandango, but I am completely satisfied with the Diablo. Construction is top notch. I highly recommend the "pro" model for the electronic cable pass through.

Excellent choice for any adv bike.
I downgraded from a BMW huge tank bag to this and I must say it's an upgrade for me in terms of performance and simplicity. Makes you take only the things you really need and leave the others at home or in your rear side cases. I've been through a few rain storms and yes it does get a bit damp in sections but I haven't seam sealed the bag so I'm curious if that'll waterproof it. Overall I'm very happy with how it fits my needs. Highly recommend it.

Compact tank bag
Works well very compact, live the ease if openin easily and the flip over feature for gassing up. It sure beats the total removal of a factory bag on a GS.

Great tank bag, but not close to water tight
I have about 1500 miles on the bike using this tank bag. I purchased it for a KTM 690 Duke. Great size for food, water, air gauge, earplugs, heat controller, etc. Small enough that I don't notice it when riding, but just big enough for everything I want direct access to. Comes with about 10' of extra straps that need to be cut and burned once installed. The ads indicate "water-resistant" zippers, but be forewarned, with anything more than a brief shower at slow speeds, this bag gets very wet inside. If there is any chance of real rain, particularly at highway speeds, better put stuff in plastic bags. Otherwise, high quality construction and great fit for my bike. The mounting harness allows very quick and easy access to the tank for refueling, and the bag can be taken on and off the bike in no time. Excellent design if your fuel fill is right under the bag.

The Right Tank Bag
Functional, durable and unimposing. I HATE tank bags that extend up to my chin, hang off the edges of my tank, or crowd me on the seat. What I want from a tank bag is a place to put a map where I can see it, and storage for essentials that I want easy access to; cell phone, glasses, water bottle, pen, ear plugs, chap stick, power bars, cap, face shield microfiber rag...... I do not use a tank bag for luggage. The Giant Loop Diablo Pro qualifies is every way, plus it is constructed so that it is easy to reach the gas cap filler, and it is easy to clean and maintain--just hose it down. Suits my needs completely.

I'm new to the sport but my adventure riding enabling buddies are not. We were shocked when we were setting up my bike for my maiden adventure. The lower straps that attach the bag to the frame were too short! I ride a KTM 990. That must be 50% of the people who buy this bag. However, it was a quick fix. I just went to a camping store and bought some extra straps, cut the existing in a cautious place, and problem solved.
It's just super frustrating. They charge a premium for the bag but save a few pennies (maybe less) by cutting the straps too short.
Okay, back to the bag itself...AWESOME. It's not huge but that's why I bought it. I don't smash my n_ts when I'm stand up riding. Fit and finish are second to none.
