Gerbing's G3 Heated Gloves 4.5 5 71 71
5 STARS Gloves are great, Heat up fast, hooks to jacket very easy. April 22, 2013
Rode them when it was 33 degree F outside I read previous reviews about Gerbings heated gloves and was originally thinking about the T5 gloves. The T5 gloves, for a time, were almost impossible to get, and after reading about how the G3 gloves gave better feel, I decided to give these gloves a shot. I'm very pleased with how comfortable these gloves are and the quality of the product - they look classy. I had no problems keeping my hands warm with these gloves on a Kawasaki Versys, with no hand-guards, no heated grips and 33 degree F (Minnesota), though I had them maxed on the temp controller. If I had a motorcycle that I would dare riding below freezing temps, I might might have considered the heavier-duty T5, but as it stands right now, I made the correct decision by buying the G3s. I highly recommend this product. They're expensive, but they're worth it. April 12, 2013
heated gloves works great, ensure you purchase a size that is snug to tight. Recommend whatever size you wear normally, go a size smaller. March 28, 2013
didnt work and worng size but stuck with them anyway emailed revzilla within days of receiving them and received one reply from them and that was the last time they even replied to me. i've sent 3-4 emails since their last reply and have yet to hear anything weeks later. im still stuck with $150 gloves that dont heat and are the wrong size... March 18, 2013
Soft and warm Surprisingly supple! Good dispersion of heating elements, as I don't have grip warmers, but, my palms don't feel cold. I would like the cuffs to be another inch longer, as it takes a bit of extra care to make sure I stuff my sleeve openings far enough down not the glove gauntlets. Otherwise, I think they are perfect so far. February 25, 2013
Great heating but on large size for sizing chart Great heating and performance but on the large size per sizing chart. February 18, 2013
The product works as advertised! This is a great product. Why? Because is works beautifully, exactly as stated by the manufacturer. The gloves heat up instantly. The only thing I found that I felt was not really necessary is the adjustable pull string that can be used to tighten the glove more tightly around the wrist. I really couldn't see much use for it and the adjuster just gets in the way. I originally ordered the LARGE, but had to return them for the MEDIUM...even though I used the measuring chart. As such, I'd recommend ordering the next smaller size from what the measuring guide suggests. Definitely would recommend these for anyone who wants to ride in colder weather, and still keep your hands and fingers nice and toasty! One side note...I had a problem with one of the gloves not heating as much as the other. I contacted Gerbing's to get a warranty replacement, but they were completely worthless in helping me out! Instead, they instructed me to send the gloves back to Revzilla, who would then ship the gloves back to Gerbing's for repair, followed by Gerbing's shipping them back to Revzilla, who would then ship them back to me! The entire process would have taken 4-6 weeks! By then, I probably wouldn't need them anyway as the Winter cold would have been over for the season! I contacted Revzilla and explained to their Customer Service rep what was going on and what Gerbing's told me I HAD to do. Instead of doing what Gerbing's wanted, he had me order a replacement pair and told me to ship the defective pair back to them...even emailing me a prepaid return shipping label! Once received, Revzilla gave me a full refund! The replacement pair showed up at my door just two days after placing the order! This is the kind of customer service that's missing from just about every on-line retailer other than Amazon. Revzilla is a far better place to order Gerbing's products than from the factory itself (who also sells directly at the exact same prices). Summation: Gerbing's products...GREAT! Dealing directly with Gerbing's...YUCK! Dealing with Revzilla ...PERFECT! February 18, 2013
Should've gotten these years ago I finally took the leap into heated gear recently and these gloves are wonderful. I've ridden down to -18F and my hands remained toasty warm. They heat up very quickly and all fingers are covered. I thought the liner was nice but these really feel decadent. I should have gotten them years ago. February 18, 2013

Answer:
They must, because I don't have grip heaters, and my palms are warm. When I take my hand off the bar and rest it palm-up on my lap, the palm gets very warm very quickly. My fingers are warm on the grip-side, too.

Yes they do. I had heard that heated gloves only had heat on the outside but my Gerbing G3's definitely have heat in the palm; this may be a new thing.

The newest G3 gloves with microwire have heated palms. These will also have the 90 degree plug outlet. Older style gloves with the straight power plug do not have heated palms.

Answer:
Yes, to connect your Gerbing's G3 heated gloves to your lighter socket, all you would need is the Gerbing's12 volt DC adapter. This adapter has the correct end to connect to your gloves and plug into your lighter socket.

Answer:
I would recommend you to use manufacturer's plug ($20 or so). I custom made a cigarette lighter plug and the Coax Size M to use with my heated controller. Every time I turn the controller on, it blew the fuse. However, if I plug it to my jump-start battery, it works fine. Then I change the fuse from 7.5A to 20A, every time I plug it in, I saw sparks come off, so I went back to the original setting: Powerlet battery connector + Tour Master Synergy heat controller + Powerlet heated glove liners.

Answer:
YES...but you'll need Gerbing's 12 Volt DC Plug Adapter. They DO NOT suggest using your Battery Tender connector as the wire gauge is not sufficient for the power draw of the heated items. The Battery Tender only sends less than 2 amps to the battery...the heated items draw much than that.

Answer:
Guess you could find an adapter from the coax plug on the gloves to a 12v port. But I think you need a controller to use them effectively. You need to moderate the glove temp based on the temp of the wind and wind velocity. And then you would have a wire dangling from your hands to the bars, a potentially hazardous condition. I would spring for the controller and connect it to the battery, with the wires running up the jacket and your sleeves. Better still, get a heated jacket so you can plug into the bottom of the jacket, then connect the gloves to the wire in the sleeves.

You can power your gloves with the Gerbing's 12 Volt DC Plug Adapter as long as your 12V receptacle has adequate current capacity and is of a standard "cigar lighter" type.

Answer:
If your snow blower uses a 12 volt battery and it can support both the heating element supply needs of the gloves as well as the normal needs of the snowblower, there is no reason why it should not work, at least until the battery is depleted.

Answer:
I do not think that they have a rechargeable battery for the G3 or T5 gloves, only for the Hybrid (which is basically a T5 with a place for a battery). Gerbings also makes another line that is battery powered for outdoor activities.
