This product did not seem to work as advertised.
I was looking forward to have just one connection off my battery which would support my heated gear, and my trickle charger. I installed the adapter to the battery harness provided with my heated gear, as instructed. While my heated gear worked fine, but my charger would not work. I finally had to attached both battery harnesses (heated gear and charger) to make both systems work. While disappointed, at about $11, not sure it's worth my time to return to adapter.

great for reducing bike clutter
On my trickle charger all the time , this adapts my trickle to the gerbing . so just the gerbing harness wires at the battery.. good investment. , Priced well.

Necessary pig tail if you have a dual action controller.
I was a little confused when I tried to set up my Gerbings pant and jacket combo. The battery connection to the jacket must have a female power cord connection. There is a battery power cord connection with a male connector. This won't work with the dual controller set up. Just a heads up to look carefully before you hook up the battery connector.

Best ever!
Wow! I've never seen a SAE to coax cable connector in such high style! This thing works better than designed. You can leave it on the garage workbench and it still performs flawlessly. Color choice is amazing. You can't go wrong with this little gem.

cable makes it easy
This cable certainly makes it easy to have the bike on the trickle charger during the coldest months without having to install multiple connections on the battery.

It says in the product description that this should not be used on an SAE cable used to tend the battery, but what difference does it make? Sorry for being a n00b—just trying to figure out a way to connect to my bike without having multiple cables all over the place.
