Gerbing 12V Coax Male To SAE Cable
Works like an adapter should.
I have a few vehicles for which I rotate my Battery Tender and this adapter makes it easy to use the same one on them

Just get one
You've bought all this Gerbing stuff for winter, but it's nice to not have to take the seat off and fiddle with battery connections if you ever want to use a battery charger. It's a cheap little adapter, just buy it.

Could not hook it up to temp control
This product cannot be used to hookup to tempature controller.
It is to attach directly to jacket, which without the ability to control would be way to hot.

Very useful converter cable!
If you use Harley-Davidson electrically heated clothing, this converter cable allows you to connect current model Harley-Davidson battery chargers, equipped with "SAE" connectors, to the same "coax" connector that you have already installed on your motorcycle to accept the Harley-Davidson electrically heated 12 volt clothing.
It simply attaches to the SAE connector on the battery charger, and plugs into the coax connector on the bike. This makes it easy for you to charge the bike's battery when the bike is parked, and then to use the electrically heated clothing while on the road.
A very useful, inexpensive product. Great value.

Great product for easy use of gerbing plug for other 12VDC uses.
Purchased this product to allow my wife to charge her IPAD mini on long bike trips. Bike was already wired for Gerbing jacket liner, so this was the easiest way. Combined this with an SAE to USB adapter and it's a simple plug-in. Can also combine this with a Gerbing wye adapter to stay warm and entertained while riding.

It does exactly what it was designed to do and what I needed.

Just the ticket
I bought an older set of Gerbing heated gloves and the had the older style SAE (two flat prong) connection instead of the newer Coax (round plug-in) style used today. I bought the adaptor and it worked perfectly.

Didnt' work for me either...
I had the same trickle charger issue as Paul M. I set it up as the video indicated but my battery charger wouldn't charge. I had to put the battery charger pig tail back on and now have 2 pigtails. Not a bit deal but went through a lot of work taking things on and off and speaking with customer service. And not worth returning the $10 part...which is the cheapest thing Revzilla probably sells. Too bad it didn't work.
