Saved my a$$ets
This is an excellent product. I got cut off by a left turning vehicle at an intersection at 45 mph when the light went yellow. I impacted their rear quarter and flew/slid a good 50 feet. The elbow pad took most of the impact and my knee guards took the rest. I did receive minor elbow rash when the elbow guard rolled. The bike was totaled, I walked away. I am still wearing it two years later. It is adjustable around the arms. The only thing that I dislike is that the kidney belt Velcro doesn't always cooperate. It is awesome in the summer heat of Virginia. If it is a little chilly I just wear a cotton long sleeve underneath. It fits under a windbreaker/raincoat if the weather turns ugly. Over all I am highly satisfied with this armor and will buy another once this one wears out.

best protection, great airflow, fits so well you forget it, and good price
I am not an MX rider. I ride dual sport bikes, in Nevada desert on vacation, and in the North East. DR650, f800gs. I bought this primarily for protection, secondly because I ride in Summer, and thirdly because it looks wicked. I wear this over a cotton t shirt, and over the top put a XXL MX shirt. This is all mesh, so the air flow is really good. I have seen guys who just put a waterproof jacket over the top for the rain, which seems a good idea. I've tested the crash protection many times now, and never had a bruise or a scratch. Riding in the mountains of the North East, usually is steaming hot in June/July, and usually I come down onto rocks. this is perfect for me. Fit seems endlessly adjustable.

Great product at a great price.
I am 6' 1" tall. I weigh 227 lbs. I am "thick" but don't have a beer gut. The XL fits and is snug, just right, the elbow and forearm pads do not slip or twist.

I have tested this armor (DAMHIK) and it is great stuff for the low speed, low air, type riding that I do off road. I definitely feel much safer when riding over big rocky terrain with this on.

Pros: great airflow, not hot, fits snug and stays where it is supposed to be. Does NOT pinch or restrict movement at all. Does NOT cut off circulation anywhere. Very light.

Cons: none.

Good gear, versatile piece of safety equipment.
I have not, nor do I intend to crash test this. I will again have a dual sport bike and this will be good when that day comes again. But for now I am on my sport touring bike. I was looking to upgrade my jacket and equipment for a 2000 mile four day trip. My textile jacket has armor but the back is that thin foam they all come with and should be upgraded and it gets hot. I would like to buy a higher end textile jacket but even good ones need armor upgrades adding to cost and there are still days when mesh or rain are the better idea.

I like layering with ski and other clothing. As a former ski patrolman I have coped with all types of weather conditions and would figure out what gear works. With this jacket I reasoned I could put textile, mesh, leather, rain gear or a jersey over it and have protection with chest and a large back protector, and not be out $500 to $800 for a jacket that I might not want to wear every ride and most likely would want an armor upgrade. The XXL fit me, 6', 230# not a big gut, without adjustment. It goes on and off very easily so I could take it off before going into a convenience store and not look like a linebacker or packing a shotgun. I like the kidney belt and large back protection and it is very comfortable. I wore it under a leather jacket and hi-viz vest for the trip with temps from 48 to 85. The leather was warm at 85, but not at highway speeds. This jackets breathes very well. I wore it 4 days covering 2000 miles on interstate and the two lanes of WV and OH. This jacket allows me to layer depending on the ride and conditions.

When a Lexus SUV on I-84 in Waterbury, CT decided to slide into my left lane without bothering to notice my red pants and orange vest that makes me look like a highway construction barrel I was glad to have this under the leather in the event of a get off. So I am all for looking like a linebacker for protection. It is way better than a T shirt and leather vest I see so often. (The wife says it looks like a superhero. I love her.)

Cool look, perfect in really hot weather for those who won't ride without protection
This jacket is the closest thing to just wearing a T-shirt but still having protection. I have a couple of other mesh jackets but they don't compare to the airflow the Titan Sport Jacket offers or even the perceived level of protection. This jacket has more robust armor on it than either of my other mesh jackets. That's good though, because the mesh itself is very light weight, slightly stretchy and very open. Because of the quality and strategic placement of the armor, I would expect protection to be very good, though. The quality of the jacket is right up there. It's put together well and the materials are top-notch. The material by nature, I don't think is as durable as a traditional mesh or textile jacket, but I expect to get many season's use out of it. Size: Listen to the reviews and order a size larger. This is supposed to be a form-fitting jacket but they definitely run a full size smaller. I am 5'11" , 165 lbs. and have a 38 chest - sounds like a definite Medium, right?Well, I ordered a Medium and I could barely get it on… and I'm a bit on the lean side. So, I ended up returning it and getting a Large - which fits snug on me but not uncomfortably tight. Remember, the mesh is somewhat stretchy. I have room under the jacket for as much as maybe a regular T-shirt and a long sleeve one if I'm dressing in layers but a sweat shirt, for instance, would make it too tight. If you order one size up from you true size and wear this as intended - on hot days without multiple layers underneath, you can't go wrong.

Excellent off road protection
I've been wearing this on my CRF250X all summer and fall, and I really love the jacket. At first I thought about buying a roost guard, but then I realized I'd want shoulder, forearm and better back protection. This jacket takes care of your whole upper body, is comfortable and breathes very well. I used to wear a thin baselayer, the jacket, then layers on top to keep warm, but now I've just been wearing a thicker baselayer and nothing over top of the jacket unless it's really cold - like under 40 degrees. The only issue with putting stuff on top of it is that somewhat restricts movement which is why I like it being my top layer.

It looks like some people are wearing this on the street, and my personal recommendation would be not to unless you're just riding on the street long enough to get to the trail. I don't think it would protect or absorb the impacts you face in a street crash very well because it's not what it's designed for. It DOES protect very well in off road crashes though as I unfortunately know from several experiences! I was riding over some big boulders in a boulder field when one shifted underneath me, and I felt hard on to my shoulder and forearm with the bike landing on top of me after and walked away with only a couple sore spots (not even really bruises). My stepdad was riding with me and watching from behind when it happened, and he thought for sure I was going to be really hurt. He actually didn't wear much gear at the time, but after watching that he literally would not ride with me until he bought the same jacket! I bought it for him as a surprise, and he loves it so much he wore it around the house for an hour! LOL

I'd definitely recommend this jacket for off road / very light dual sport road use.

Excellent for Brazilian Traffic & Climate
Last year I purchased a white Icon Mesh Textile jacket as riding in 45 degree C heat is near impossible with a black leather jacket & traffic in Rio de Janeiro is famously aggressive. However despite full ventilation after removing the liner from my Icon jacket I was still overheating.
After some research I found the solution, more protection & more ventilation! The Fox Titan suit of armour is excellent, especially with the full armadillo back protection. My friends call me Robo-Cop or Storm Trooper as I bought the white version, but like a condom or a gun, Id rather have it & not need it than need it & not have it!

Great, comfortabe protection.
I bought this to wear when doing more "extreme" riding. The pads are thick and comfortable but still flow air well. Very easy to throw on and take off. Fits well and looks good under a jersey or larger hoodie. The Storm Trooper white looks pretty cool on its own and offers good visibility.

Mostly good, chest protection can be better
I bought this for dirt riding and taken a few spills with no problem. This past week, however, I took a jump with too much power and flew above my bike and landed back down on it, with parts of the handlebars hitting me square in the chest.

The two pieces of the chest protection did their job, but the space between them where the zipper sits above my sternum hurts a lot. I can only conclude that the force of the hit cause the plates to cave in, concentrating the forces down the center of my chest.

I think if I had been wearing a single piece chest protector, I would be feeling better.

So, overall it's a good single buy for protection, but if they designed the chest protection as a single piece, it would be better.

Great Product
I bought this for dirtbiking to take the place of a chest protector and elbow/arm guards hoping it would be a cooler option. I went riding yesterday wearing the jacket with a longsleve underarmour heatgear underneath and was impressed. In very slow technical singletrack, where the armor is may have been slightly warmer than a traditional chest protector, but my arms felt great vs wearing a jersey. As soon as I was moving any decent speed, my whole body was cool. This jacket took a bunch of pulls from branches, sticks, thorn bushes, but no tears or pulls in the mesh yet.

Size: I originally went off what most people said here and ordered 1 size larger than normal. However when I got the XL it was too big. I exhanged it for a L and it fit great. Fit is very true to size if you're wearing this right. I am 5'9" 185lbs.

I'm 5'3. 14O lbs. 37 chest. 32 waist. Should I get small or medium?
A shopper on Apr 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Small. I'm 6' 195lbs 41" chest 31" waist and wear large.
Would someone be able to tell me if this would be a good product to wear for the street as far as protection goes? I see that this is one of the highest rating armored jacket. I see that other armor jackets that r more expensive have lower review compared to this one
Jose v on Nov 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't reccommend this for street use as it doesnt give you full coverage around your sides. A full jacket would offer more protection against abraision. As for impact, this is a good product.
Hi! I was wondering if this product would be ok for street use, under a leather jacket?
yes/no, why?
A shopper on Jun 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi, I mostly use this as added protection in the desert when on a fine bike because it's perforated and allows for air to breathe through....
I guess you could use it under a jacket for street use, but I'd much rather recommend you go for something more dedicated.... Like a leather jacket with built in protection
does it protect collar bone? cause I don't see any plastic plate in that area
A shopper on Sep 25, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No it doesnt,
but normally you get hurt on the collar bone when fall on your side and there are the proteccions that helps for less injury.
last february i felt down and broke just one ribe bone, thanks God I was wearing this jacket....
Just wondering on sizing. I am 5'8 at 150lbs. Athletic build. Riding a 2014 Ninja 300 SE. Medium sound like a good plan?
A shopper on Jul 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yup, that worked for me with same specs. Sposed to be snug.
How bulky does the jacket make you look wearing a sweater over it?
A shopper on Aug 31, 2013
BEST ANSWER: You know, I've never tried it that way. What I can tell you is that it's quite warm during very hot days but offers the protection I need. I'm a beginner in this sport and not 20 years old anymore. I felt that it was necessary for me to have maximum protection to prevent injuries. So far, it has done that numerous times!!! After a while, you don't notice it anymore. It doesn't restrict your movement and provides considerable air flow during not so warm days. Hope this has helped.
I'm 6 foot tall and 190lbs and I would like to know if the large or x-large would be a better fit.
A shopper on Sep 12, 2011
BEST ANSWER: I bought a large and i weigh at LEAST 20 pounds more than you. The fit is snug, but alright, the only problem i have is that the belly tends to... erm... kinda go free.

So for you, i would say a Large is fine. It's snug, quite snug, but you don't want the padding to move around. Unless you have similar belly problems as me, you should be fine!
is this thing applicable for street use? will it be comfortable? how does it compare to a-star bionic jacket?
A shopper on Jun 16, 2011
BEST ANSWER: If you wear a STREET motorcycle specific leather jacket on top of it, sure.
Or a textile jacket that is rated for STREET abrasion resistance (like REVIT gear or MotoPort)

I wear it on my dirtbike to protect from getting rocks and branches stuck into my back, elbows, forearms etc... But if you had on a thick abrasion resistant street leather, you could wear this underneath.

I could see someone using it if they were learning low speed stunting, like wheelies and stoppies etc..

I wouldn't use it on the street by itself though, definitely need leather on top. Without the leather on top, this stuff would just rip off of you and leave you naked.
do you recommend it for street riding or is it only for offroad?
A shopper on Jan 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I used it for street riding a lot. I'd put this on and a zip up track jacket on the top of it. If it was dark, I'd ride with just this on. During hot summer nights it feels really nice.
Pros:
a lot of protective plates: elbows, shoulders, back, chest.
If it's hot outside it really does keep you cool
I really liked the backplate, because if you ride crunched forward it does provide a lot of back support and you don't get tired and fatigued as quickly.

Cons:
The shoulder plates are bulky, so if you ride leaning forward then when you turn your head to look backwards, the helmet catches the little protrusions that are coming out from the pads. But if you ride straight up then no problem.
The looks might be a problem for someone, but then again I rode it with something over it.
Also, I'd recommend putting something over it that offers abrasion protection, because this thing on its own is mainly against impact.
Overall, I like it and still have it.
