Solid flak jacket Ruggedly made with great coverage. Definitely an upgrade from a competing product that I'd had for six years. The Fox jacket inspires confidence and is smartly designed and attractive. Might run slightly small... I'm an L in a T-shirt but the XL Fox jacket is a perfect fit for me. March 23, 2015
Quality, affordable protection. The sizing for me runs a little small, I was a little closer to the top of the measurements so I went up a size and it fits nice and snug, I recommend this for good affordable protection. It's winter time here in Nebraska so I can't testify to the hot weather airflow but I think it will be fine. February 23, 2015
Works excellent For Dirt & Street this jacket is awsome... I feel very protected. Under the jersey is discret... And look great for a street bike... I recomend... Double check for correct size... February 23, 2015
Great Quality vs Price Great quality construction, very comfortable, great air flow for hot days, its light, even you can wear it and you don't even know that you have a protection vest on. January 10, 2015
Saved Limb and Rib Wore this armor at Rawhyde school and I can attest it took a beating, which my body didn't have to take. Fit is snug by design, but would have liked a bit more length in the torso. Was riding in the Mojave with a lot of off-road miles and temps in the low 90's. Airflow was good with limited heat build up. Flexibility/range of motion was good, but arms over head moment is limited - get a buddy to help you don/doff a jersey. Saved my ribs in a sand wash went I had a come off onto rocks. The armor was left with a ding from my landing and my ribs were sore for a day. Without this protection, I'm sure it would have been much worse - broken ribs likely. December 8, 2014
Excellent for Brazilian Traffic & Climate Last year I purchased a white Icon Mesh Textile jacket as riding in 45 degree C heat is near impossible with a black leather jacket & traffic in Rio de Janeiro is famously aggressive. However despite full ventilation after removing the liner from my Icon jacket I was still overheating. After some research I found the solution, more protection & more ventilation! The Fox Titan suit of armour is excellent, especially with the full armadillo back protection. My friends call me Robo-Cop or Storm Trooper as I bought the white version, but like a condom or a gun, Id rather have it & not need it than need it & not have it! November 11, 2014
Love it. I was shopping for a vest with front and back protection, but took a chance on this instead. The reason why I hesitated was that my Aerostich Darian jacket already has shoulder and elbow protection, so I didn't really need that build into my new purchase. Also, I was not sure this would fit under my shell. I am glad that I got this, as I am much more confident that it holds the elbow pads in the correct location than my shell's pads. This fits great under my shell once I took out the shell's back protector and elbow protectors. I leave the shell's shoulder protectors in place. This Fox jacket looks professional and high quality. I am using it on the street even though this is not sold for that use. I can't think of a reason why this is not going to work as well as a Light Wave jacket. I am 5'9 and 145 lbs with a 38 inch chest and got a medium. Fit is great on me over a T-shirt. Over a nice-fitting sweat-shirt, it is getting snug, but still seems like the correct size. Excellent off road protection I've been wearing this on my CRF250X all summer and fall, and I really love the jacket. At first I thought about buying a roost guard, but then I realized I'd want shoulder, forearm and better back protection. This jacket takes care of your whole upper body, is comfortable and breathes very well. I used to wear a thin baselayer, the jacket, then layers on top to keep warm, but now I've just been wearing a thicker baselayer and nothing over top of the jacket unless it's really cold - like under 40 degrees. The only issue with putting stuff on top of it is that somewhat restricts movement which is why I like it being my top layer. It looks like some people are wearing this on the street, and my personal recommendation would be not to unless you're just riding on the street long enough to get to the trail. I don't think it would protect or absorb the impacts you face in a street crash very well because it's not what it's designed for. It DOES protect very well in off road crashes though as I unfortunately know from several experiences! I was riding over some big boulders in a boulder field when one shifted underneath me, and I felt hard on to my shoulder and forearm with the bike landing on top of me after and walked away with only a couple sore spots (not even really bruises). My stepdad was riding with me and watching from behind when it happened, and he thought for sure I was going to be really hurt. He actually didn't wear much gear at the time, but after watching that he literally would not ride with me until he bought the same jacket! I bought it for him as a surprise, and he loves it so much he wore it around the house for an hour! LOL I'd definitely recommend this jacket for off road / very light dual sport road use. Blake A: Needed a jacket to replace a cheap mesh one with lame protection. Jackets are a mixed compromise of features, liners, range of use and protection. In ski gear I want quality gear with ability to layer. Purchasing this to use primarily for street under a leather jacket or a textile one or rain gear or a Klim jersey depending on weather. I think it provides protection and flexibility. Most moderately priced jackets need a protection upgrade making them less cheap. May 2, 2014

karl r: I chose this for off-road/adv/dualsport because it was cheaper than competitors, rated more highly by customers, and has a more aggressive look. I'm 6'0, 185lbs, 38" chest, 33" waist, and ordered a large. I'll review the fit when it's received. Mar 20, 2014
Gary P: I am quite large 6'5" 260 lbs and this thing fits me well. I was also looking for some hot weather armor, and feel the mesh is the ticket. Mar 14, 2014
James S: Wanted a protective rig for my trail riding. This thing rocks. Super comfortable and fits like a glove, super protective, seems well made. Besides, it was from Revzilla. They are like a bunch of crack dealers. Once you try their stuff, you just can't stop buying more of it. Mar 10, 2014

Giancarlo G: Great price and reviews. I am getting into dual sport riding and need some dirt protection! Jan 6, 2014
Steve O: Looks comfy. Dec 31, 2013
Johnnie B: Yes! Perhaps, my favorite armored shirt! Very pleased with this product. I have used it during thousands of miles of riding. Great for those warmer days when you want protection but can't take the highway heat AND a heavy riding jacket. I also use this armored shirt at times in the winter under my riding jacket. For me, this is a MUST HAVE piece of equipment. Nov 4, 2013
Roy B: I live in the desert and ride all year round in full gear. Although I wear a mesh jacket, the idea of riding with something that it one step lighter but still offers good protection is very appealing. It won't replace my mesh jacket but on those days when it is 110 degrees or above, I think it will be a good alternate - certainly better than just riding with a T-shirt. It also got good reviews on quality. Oct 17, 2013
Ahmad S: Armored jackets are protective and in addition don't bother me with the hot weather in Cairo cause of the perforations, so for me are ideal in riding conditions here Sep 6, 2013
Jesse B: Looks great, and all the positive reactions made me decide to choose this one in particular. Aug 28, 2013

eliseo a: No it doesnt,
but normally you get hurt on the collar bone when fall on your side and there are the proteccions that helps for less injury.
last february i felt down and broke just one ribe bone, thanks God I was wearing this jacket....

Eric L: I broke my collarbone in it, but I think I would have in any armor - they are not designed to protect a blunt impact on the shoulder that hard. On the good side I had no punctures or abrasions :-) Nov 1, 2013

A shopper asked: How bulky does the jacket make you look wearing a sweater over it? Aug 31, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Sylvain P: You know, I've never tried it that way. What I can tell you is that it's quite warm during very hot days but offers the protection I need. I'm a beginner in this sport and not 20 years old anymore. I felt that it was necessary for me to have maximum protection to prevent injuries. So far, it has done that numerous times!!! After a while, you don't notice it anymore. It doesn't restrict your movement and provides considerable air flow during not so warm days. Hope this has helped. Sep 3, 2013
Reply to Sylvain Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
MELVIN B: Never tried, have worn my tourmaster coat over it and it was not so different than the padding that came with the jacket, but felt more protected and when it warmed up, the padding can be left in place and th jacket removed. I imagine youd look a bit like a line backer. Sep 6, 2013
Reply to MELVIN Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
john k: The arms and shoulders wouldn't be too bulky, but the chest and especially the back could be a little bulky with a sweater. It depends on the sweater though, because with an mx jersey over it, and on hot days just a T-shirt under it, I'm happy with it! Sep 4, 2013

James A: I think it all depends on your physique. I'm short and stocky so for me it looks like a little more heft. My riding buddy is tall and slender and when he wears it you barely notice. Sep 3, 2013

DAMON O: It does add some bulk. You certainly won't be fooling anyone that you're not wearing armor. It works great, but you pretty much look like a football player in it. Sep 3, 2013

PenguinScotty: I bought a large and i weigh at LEAST 20 pounds more than you. The fit is snug, but alright, the only problem i have is that the belly tends to... erm... kinda go free.

So for you, i would say a Large is fine. It's snug, quite snug, but you don't want the padding to move around. Unless you have similar belly problems as me, you should be fine!

A shopper asked: is this thing applicable for street use? will it be comfortable? how does it compare to a-star bionic jacket? Jun 16, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Ben R: If you wear a STREET motorcycle specific leather jacket on top of it, sure.
Or a textile jacket that is rated for STREET abrasion resistance (like REVIT gear or MotoPort)

I wear it on my dirtbike to protect from getting rocks and branches stuck into my back, elbows, forearms etc... But if you had on a thick abrasion resistant street leather, you could wear this underneath.

I could see someone using it if they were learning low speed stunting, like wheelies and stoppies etc..

I wouldn't use it on the street by itself though, definitely need leather on top. Without the leather on top, this stuff would just rip off of you and leave you naked.

AttilaWolf: It's pretty comfortable and it's equipped well enough for street use but I just don't think that the quality is there. The back protector is held on by a bunch of plastic rivets. They started popping out the first time I wore it. I am going to return it and will probably be getting that same AStar bionic jacket. Good luck! Sep 17, 2011

purpleninja1955: I have'nt seen the a- star bionic jacket to compare the two, but I do have the Titan racing Jacket and I,m VERY satisfied with it. It is VERY comfortable when wearing and riding, very light weight, and it stretches if you want to put it over another type of jacket. I would recomend this jacket to any level rider. May 7, 2012

Stevan P: This is a great option for the street and would be at home under most street wear. Both the Titan and Bionic 2 feature CE rated protection, however, the Bionic 2 has slightly more lower back protection and is connected by adjustable non-slip ladder lock buckles as opposed to the velcro on the Titan. reehata: i wouldn't wear it on the street. it's mostly mesh with plastic armor stitched or riveted on. I think once it hits asphalt it will be torn to bits. i think this is more comfortable then the a-star. plus it has better armor and more of it. Aug 13, 2011

A shopper asked: do you recommend it for street riding or is it only for offroad? Jan 29, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Maksym P: I used it for street riding a lot. I'd put this on and a zip up track jacket on the top of it. If it was dark, I'd ride with just this on. During hot summer nights it feels really nice.
Pros:
a lot of protective plates: elbows, shoulders, back, chest.
If it's hot outside it really does keep you cool
I really liked the backplate, because if you ride crunched forward it does provide a lot of back support and you don't get tired and fatigued as quickly.

Cons:
The shoulder plates are bulky, so if you ride leaning forward then when you turn your head to look backwards, the helmet catches the little protrusions that are coming out from the pads. But if you ride straight up then no problem.
The looks might be a problem for someone, but then again I rode it with something over it.
Also, I'd recommend putting something over it that offers abrasion protection, because this thing on its own is mainly against impact.
Overall, I like it and still have it.

luis a: I'm on my second one, first one saved my back when I got cut off on my 636, i slid on it for about 20 ft, the studs on the back protecter hold up real well

Now the CE rating is set for off road and I haven't seen any this style that are rated for street

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jon L: Hi Juan,
You are taller and skinnier than I am so I am not sure how to answer your question. I am 5'9 tall and weigh 180 lbs. My legs are relatively short (inseam 30") and my torso is long. I wear the XL and it fits me perfectly. Good luck. The Fox Titan is a GREAT product and Revzilla stands behind their stuff so if you order the wrong size to begin with, I am sure they will take care of you. Also, you might want to look at the Leatt Adventure Body Protector for comparison.

Juan V: Hello.

I am 6'2 and 176 lbs and ordered size L. It fits me very well. It will fit you if you do not have a big belly. It is designed for slim bodies. Arm lenght it is not a problem. It is a really great product, very confortable and you feel fresh everytime.

I do recommend to buy a underwear t-shirt. I bought one from Answer.

John N: Probably not. I'm 6' 165lbs with arms slightly long for my height and a (L) fits me perfectly. I'd be a little concerned that the waist line would ride high for you but if that dimension isnt a concern than go for it. It does have straps that you can tighten so it might be safer to go XL. A shopper asked: Help! How do I wear the back protector / kidney belt separately from the jacket?

The product card that came with the jacket says that I can do it, and there are extra straps included which I presume are for this purpose, but I just can't figure out HOW they attach!

Why I need to do this: I am a girl, i.e. not long-waisted like guys, so when the back protector is zipped to the jacket and I wrap the attached kidney belt around my waist at the proper place it pushes the back protector up and into my helmet and is very uncomfortable and difficult to move.

Suggestion for Fox: You guys really should have a way to adjust the point where the kidney belt attaches to the back protector instead of having it permanently riveted to it. I'm seriously considering finding some tin snips and cutting the plastic so the two sections are separate!

Message for Anthony: I am really surprised that you didn't mention in your video that the back protector can be removed and how to wear it separately. The high level of detail and completeness in your product reviews is what I especially like about them and why I come to you! =)

A shopper asked: Hello I have a couple of questions, I live in Israel and currently I'm working as a pizza delivery guy on a 125 CC scooter riding around town and when business is slow i'm helping around the kitchen.
Can you wear only the Fox titan when riding around town in speeds up to 80 km\h
1. without a jacket or other "abrasion defense" on your torso?
2. How long does it take to put on and take off?
I also want to buy pants so after some research I chose the AGV Sport Airtex Pants, Will it be better to wear these pants with their "matching" jacket, the AGV Sport AirTex Jacket?

Basically, I just want to know if wearing only the fox titan on paved roads will be safer than wearing only the AGV Sport AirTex Jacket.

Thank you!

James A: The Fox Titan jacket is really intended for off road use. It's a really snug fit and has very little abrasion protection. A good mesh jacket will provide all around better protection and comfort if you ride in warm weather greater than 75F. If you ride in cool weather then you might go with a textile jacket that has some ventilation panels for warmer days.
I have the Revit Airwave Jacket as well as a Cortech textile jacket. I like them both a lot.
I have no opinion on pants.
