Product is flimsier and has less padding than photos suggest. December 7, 2012
First pair of knee pads and they do not disappoint. Hopefully the pics ive uploaded will do much more than anything i can put down as text. I will say when i received them i did not adjust the Velcro straps any, i simply undid them, put them around my leg and then strapped them back up with the little buttons, without ever adjusting anything. I can walk around normally in them without any problems, they dont seem to itch or bother my legs any as of yet, dont make any noises when i walk around either. Like i mentioned in the picture caption, they make a tight fit with my boots, But i was expecting this when i bought them, Contacted the revzilla staff and they pretty much said the same thing with this particular pair of knee pads. Work great IF you wear long socks or knee brace sleeves I wore these against my bare legs, under my Klim pants the first day of riding and they chaffed the heck out of my knees as they do move around (down into the boot). I ended up wearing them on the outside of my Klim pants the second day. Protection is good, but I would not recommend using these without thigh high socks, or brace sleeves unless you like sore knees. They are quite bulky, even under my Klim Dakar pants - but that adds to more protection. They protected my knees very well when I had a spill out in the desert scrub brush so worth the extra effort. They cover a lot of ground on my legs so between these and my padded shorts there is no exposed weakness. October 23, 2012
great knee guard I crashed a few times in the woods in these and also my girlfriend had these on the street, bailed and she walked away coming off the highway off ramp. These plus sidi boots definitely saved her from serious injury! Highly recommended. Slightly warm due to extra coverage, but well worth it. August 21, 2012
very hefty and they work I've only had them for a few weeks, but already had two crashes in them. I guess the only thing I need to say is that I want them on in my next crash! Yes, they work; they make me feel I can try that bad rock or sand patch. I haven't fully figured out how to adjust the upper band yet: after standing up and sitting down again the patella piece always ends up a little low, while they protect greatly -- I think maybe having the upper strap a bit looser and the two lower straps a bit tighter might be the way to go? They worked for me Just dumped my bike on a dirt track and broke a rib, but no knee/shin problems at all. Very glad I was wearing these. They fit inside my boots (a few inches) but I never notice them once the boots are on. July 16, 2012
Better than I thought they would be, even at a higher price. Wow, for the price they are EXCELLENT. The *only* gripes I have is that the velcro straps are not just barely long enough and they should offer these in a bigger size. I am 6' 1" tall and weigh 227 lbs. These are just barely acceptable fit and would be better if they were a little larger. They are well articulated, seem like they will stay where they are supposed too, are not too hot, and are very protective. They are not knee braces, but they are knee and shin impact protectors. They fit very well underneath my KLIM baja pants, and the bottom part of the shin protector is unnoticeable tucked into the top of my boots. June 1, 2012

Answer:
We doubt it. They are made for off-road riding - not the kind of on-road speeds for which CE-ratings are intended. If you are going to be doing some riding on the street, check out the Alpinestars Bionic SX Knee Protector.

Answer:
Can't answer for "ALL" but the less expensive pads I have seen are all sold as pairs. I would imagine that the ones that are very expensive and have reinforced "BRACES" in them (for people with knee hyperextension or flex problems) are probably sold individually and are indicated for RIGHT or LEFT, but are not ambidextrous.
