Great Small Tank Bag
I bought this because I need something relatively small that can hold my wallet, keys, lunch and phones for work and that is portable enough I can bring it inside with little hassle.

This does just that. As a bonus it came with a sunglasses holder inside the bag and a rain cover should it start pouring while out on the road. I've used it for a few days now and everything seems to work flawlessly. The popup pocket for smartphones is nice - it handles my S3 okay; I use an otterbox defender on my phone, so it's a little snug lengthwise, but not enough to be any huge issues.

This does not have straps to make this into a backpack off the bike, but really I just needed something I could toss in the fridge and this is small enough to do that at work.

It's handled the elements and road time very well also - I would recommend this to people looking for a great bag without the great price!

Meets expectations and is exactly what I was looking for.
I ride a 2014 Ninja 650 and I just wanted something to hold my gloves, earplugs, parking pass, and disc brake. This does an excellent job of doing so and there's still plenty of room to spare. The magnets hold well and there's another buckle that you can wrap around the handle bar yoke. Only downsides to this product that I've encountered is its' position on my bike and the small size of the GPS pocket. The bag sits right above the fuel cap so I have to move it to refuel and it also prevents me from getting aero under the windshield. This is pretty much expected from any tank bag so its not really even a complaint.

Solid Construction, Solid Value
I usually wear a backpack but in the Texas Summer heat, I don't need yet another insulator on my body.

I was looking for something small to carry a bottle of water, my iPhone 6s Plus with an external battery, some protein bars, etc. on Sunday rides on the tank of my 2014 Triumph Bonneville.

This does the trick

The magnets are sturdy and the safety strap is just long enough to position the bag properly.

I haven't yet gotten caught in the rain, but the rain fly looks like it will perform well.

The build quality and materials are solid and the bottom with the magnets is soft enough that it will be gentle on your tank. Just make sure you clean the tank and the bottom of the bag before you put it on to avoid abrasions from dust, dead bugs, etc.

My only (very minor) gripe about this bag is the shape of the "GPS" pocket. It can really only support a GPS device with a 4:3 orientation. That means modern smartphones will not work.

I found a use for it (I keep optical wipes in that pocket, to clean the bugs off my face shield) but it would have been nice to be able to insert my iPhone.

Doesn't seem very secure
This is the first tank bag I've ever purchased (for my first bike), so maybe I'm missing something, but the magnets don't seem very strong at all. I ride a Triumph Legend TT, so not sure if a differently shaped tank would help, but I am a little nervous about the bag staying in place as it is difficult/impossible to have all four magnets making complete contact with the tank.

Other than that, the bag is great, nice sice for a few small things, doesn't get in my way of seeing the controls.

Perfect fit for smaller tanks
I needed a smaller bag to fit the small tank of my CB750 and this bag works perfectly. It's just large enough to hold the essentials (wallet, gloves, keys, cell phone, sunglasses, bottle of water). If I pack it carefully, I can actually fit my extra helmet visor in it, minus the bottle of water. The clear phone/GPS pocket however, is useless. A phone will not fit and a GPS unit would have to be placed in sideways to fit. I am considering just removing the clear pocket to free up room in the top pouch, but it is sewn in and would be a pain to remove. The magnets hold to the tank very well. I am using the safety strap however, just in case.

Great universal tank bag for a good price.
Was looking for a small tank bag for my DRZ400. Took a chance with the fly tank bag because it seemed like it would fit on my bike and it did ( the drz has a small tank area). The bag has everything I was looking for as far as storage. It can hold a phone or GPS but it's hard to see it on my bike because of the seating position. The bag seems like it will mount on a variety of bikes so I plan on utilizeing this tank bag alot.

Will an Iphone 6 fit into the flip up pocket?
A shopper on Apr 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: An iPhone 6 definitely fits.
dimiensions?
A shopper on Dec 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The above answer is correct, but it is still best to consider the overall volume when comparing storage. This bag isn't a rectangle and can't truly be given rectangular dimensions.

Real life size: I can fit one thick book, gloves on top of that, a t-shirt stuffed in front or behind and that is about it. The front pocket (for the rain cover) is also excellent for carrying a compact digital camera in addition to the stuff inside the bag.
How does the phone pouch work? Does the big compartment stay open while you have it out? Is it usable while riding?
Italo A on Feb 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes it stays open while riding but depending on your style of bike and the seating position it has, it may be hard too see. I sit way upright on my drz and it's difficult too look at. You can use touch screen threw the clear material.
My device is huge. I need a 4.5" x 5.5" GPS pocket. Will it fit?
A shopper on Apr 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No, it will not fit in the standard orientation. If the GPS can rotate the screen 90degrees, then just maybe it will fit.

Anything that big will probably require a handle mount system from my experience.
