High Visibility This vest is very bright. I like the detachable velcro pocket and ID pocket. I wear it over a mesh jacket and it definitely cuts down on air flow. It isn't as breathable as my jacket but it's not terrible. Being a little hotter than usual beats being ran over. October 27, 2014
It's a mil-spec vest It's bright, it's got a place for your ID. Really, there's not much too it and no reason it shouldn't be like 10 bucks, but whatever. It goes over your ACU's or Cammies or whatnot. It's bright. It holds your ID. There is no other reason to get this. But it works. October 20, 2014
Have to wear it for work, but I don't hate it I have to wear this while riding at work. That being said the ID holder is great for getting in the gate it's very adjustable with the Velcro straps and has extra pockets. I would even bring this along a a big trip if I knew I was going to have a lot of night riding. September 15, 2014
Excellent vest! Does what it's designed to do! I'm military, and I needed a vest that would allow easy access to my ID when accessing the base. Digging it out of my pocket wasn't going to cut it. Fortunately, this vest has a detachable ID holder over the left breast pocket for easy ID access. I use the breast pocket to store my cellphone for easy access as well. One of the features this vest has is its ability to fold into a pouch located on the back. There are no instructions on how to properly fold and get it into the pouch. Took me a few minutes fooling around with it to realize that it's much easier to fold if you take off both removable chest pieces! Once I finally got it folded in, I squeezed the ID card holder in on top. The removable pouch, especially if you have stuff in it (garage opener), will not fit properly. The vest fits very well, and it contains straps to adjust for a perfect fit. Overall, great vest, but the folding pouch could have been done better. August 18, 2014
This vest has turned out to be a good purchase. Construction is durable. The vest is highly visible in the day, very reflective at night. The pouch (with the US flag) has come in handy for storing things like State Park Pass, Passport, small amounts of cash, for making park access and border crossings easier. Easier than digging out a wallet anyway :) I did only give it 4 of 5 for breathability. While a breathable mesh type fabric, it is a closed knit mesh and doesn't breath as well as a more open knit mesh would. Granted a more open mesh may not be as durable. There is always a trade off. Nice riding Hi-Viz gear There were many hi viz vest out there in the market. This one, offered an affordable price. Which is not bad for what you get. The material and construction looks very solid. The fit is really nice. You can adjust it to fit over you jacket and avoid flapping when riding. The zipper is made of a durable construction material. The neck portion is soft to the touch but someone mentioned something about it getting wet in the rain and being uncomfortable because it stays wet and maybe cold during the winter. The hi viz and reflective material is good for my purposes, just riding at night and rainy days. One thing I don't care for is the pocket over the chest. It has no purpose for me and it is somehow bulky. The good thing is that you can remove it. It is velcro'd to the vest but the velcro side stays (which looks ugly). I read that is not water proof so what ever you carry in there will get wet. And maybe I can get away with the badge holder but also, not too crazy about it. Now, what really helped my decision was the fact that it was advertised as to fit in the pocket from the back and that it turns into an easy to carry little pouched vest. It even comes with 2 hoops for you to carry it on your belt. WELL, THIS IS VERY HARD TO USE!!! I tried many time and in many ways to put it inside the back pocket. I am an organized person and I find ways to fold things into small spaces but this one is a challenge. When I finally got it in, I almost ripped the pocket and I damaged the vest mesh when inserting it into the pocket. The pocket has a velcro piece inside (for closing the pocket flap when unfolded) that will catch into the vest mesh every time it touches it so be careful when you are doing that. Maybe get an extra strip of the mating side of the velcro and cover it before you start the process. I could have gone for the ICON vest if it weren't for this. As an overall, this is a good average vest. I do recommend this product March 25, 2014
Can ya' see me now? Great vest, good quality, plenty of air flow, and strategically placed reflective stripes. Only drawback is the sides are just adjustable belts. A lace system would make this vest perfect. March 18, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Bruce B: Military rider requirements/ safety... Always wear a vest. Not so much to be seen while riding, but to ensure I am seen if I go down! Nov 21, 2015
N I: Has been an excellent high vis vest and held up two years or more of riding so far. In Australia it seems to help drivers see you in the traffic and for some even to get out of the way, as they think your are Police. That been said, I had a white bike, white helmet, high vis jacket on and even that wasn't enough to be seen by cars turning out in front of me. So don't rely on visibility aloneâ?¦ Nov 11, 2015
Steven G: so I'm more visible. Duh. Apr 24, 2015
william l: I like the look and the fact I can wear it over my jacket when I want instead of buying a jacket with hi visibility and not be able to remove the "loud" look if I want to. Mar 3, 2015
Jason P: Needed a vest for military riding, as well as those times when some extra visibility is needed. Jan 30, 2015
Kevin G: I wanted to be seen Jan 20, 2015
Eliseo V: I want to be seen better at midnight when I'm riding back home from work. Aug 23, 2014
Denise B: Lots of reflectivity, high vis color options and size options. Harley makes a similar one, but they are too big for me. As a woman rider, I'm hoping this one will fit better than the HD safety vest. Will let you know once I receive it! Aug 22, 2014
April R: Being in the military. Jul 29, 2014
Anthony Sean D: Color, build, quality, value May 14, 2014

Brion W: To be more visible, on and off military installations, this does the trick. It fits great over my Tourmaster Coaster 3 jacket. Feb 17, 2014
Kyle K: Wanted something that can be seen day and night while driving! Works amazingly and always get compliments on it!! Great neon vest! Totally would buy again!! Feb 14, 2014
William W: Looks good and hopefully it will make me more visible when I wear it. Jan 29, 2014
Harold M: Military specs should make it higher visibility. I liked the pocket for storage and the fitting over a large jacket in the video. Hard to decide between orange and yellow. Yellow should be brighter. I want to be seen at night. Nov 9, 2013
Mike H: Great price, visible with lots of reflective strips, looks good and fits nicely over my jacket. Like the pockets as well, there's one on the front left chest and one on the lower back. Oct 3, 2013
Antonio C: I was going to go with the Icon, but I'm a Soldier and the reflective American flags put it over the top for me. Sep 1, 2013
Bernard W asked: What size would I buy to fit over a large jacket? I think I should get the sm-lg, but was wondering if the xl-3xl might be better. Nov 20, 2013

Jonathan S: I would purchase the xl-3xl. I have have the larger one and have worn the vest over a size large mesh jacket and it fits well. Also wear it daily over an xl jacket with fleece under for winter riding it can be adjusted to fit as well. Very impressed with the quality of this vest. Highly recommended. Nov 20, 2013

Daniel P: I wear a L jacket and bought the Sm-Lg. It sits well, not tight at all, but if you like it loose, buy the larger one.

Good luck.

Nicholas B asked: I have a Vanson size L textile and mesh jacket. What size vest would work? Apr 13, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Mike M: I dont know about your jacket, but mine fit true to size, it seems to take into account that it will be worn over something.
I am a XL and bought an XL Vest, it fits over my XL Jacket
It also has some side adjustments.
Hope it helps...remember you can exchange it at RevZilla :)

Milan K: I think it depends. If you wear your jackets tight I would recommend size L, but if not, which would be my preference, I would use XL. But I think you can exchange the vest at RevZila for the other size if you are not satisfied with your choice. :) Apr 13, 2015
