true to description You have to love this vest. It provides the additional safety/visibility you're looking for while also being as stylish as neon can be. This is a must for those traveling in high traffic areas. If you are under 180lbs. the S-L size might still be a bit large, but it's designed to go over your jacket as well. December 17, 2012
Good fit and noticeable attention by drivers I'm from Melbourne CBD, Australia and received my package within 7 days. Whilst the cost in freight was the same as the jacket, it was worth it as I have found nothing in the market here in Melbourne of equal quality and features. I purchased the 'SML-LG' size and found it could comfortably be adjusted to fit my frame wearing either my leather armour jacket or my textile wet weather armour jacket with plenty of adjustment left for a bigger frame person. I am 5'11, 77kg. I have covered a thousand plus kilometres so far in inner city riding and whilst I have no previous experience as a rider, I feel I have been noticed by many drivers in the day and night, who seem to squint and look to work out whether I am a policeman. I can't comment on the longevity of the colour or reflective tape etc, however I intend to look after it as I think dirt and grime could reduce its performance. Cool looking vest with multiple uses One of my jobs is as an emergency responder. I purchased another vest on this site for riding (read my other review) and I thought man, wouldn't it be great if I could wear one of these vests when I am working out on the highway instead of those cheap nylon road crew vests that they provide us with. Since my other vest was quite pricey I started looking at alternatives and thought that this vest was the answer. First off, it is very cool looking with it's checkerboard and chevron pattern just like we use on our emergency vehicles. Also it seems we can never have enough flags on our uniforms so that's also a plus. It goes on fast. We only have a couple of seconds to don a vest and those cheaper vests are usually a tangled velcro mess. One shake and this vest unfolds, slip your arms in and zip. It goes on over a large winter jacket. It has a pocket for your name and 2 other pockets in the front. One for gloves and one for a couple of bandages. It has a stow pocket on the back but I just fold it up and keep it on the back seat. Best of all it's less expensive than my riding vest was. November 25, 2012
Can't put a better price on Safety! The quality met up to the overview and pictures on line. I like the adjustments to girth at the sides of vest. I was not overly concerned with a pocket to keep a cell phone. There is a mid zipper pocket that will handle one however. I definitely stand out to other drivers! Great product! November 12, 2012
Be seen ! I wanted a high vis, hot weather vest that would stand up to freeway speeds for years. I think this vest fits these requirements very well. I am hoping the color will not bleach out with time or after being caught in rain. Has just one big pocket in the back. I feel much safer when wearing this on my motorcycle and bicycle. For the requirements of the military... For the requirements of the military, this vest meets all. The only thing i would change would be the ID card holder. All military installations require the card to be presented to the security member. Trying to remove the card with riding gloves on from the holder isa bit difficult causing traffic build up behind you. This however, is not a major issue. October 2, 2012
Looks good for a Hi Viz vest Very comfortable with good air flow. Good adjustment so will not flap in the wind. I agree with another review that it could use a waterproof pocket for cell phone. Overall I am very happy with look, fit and feel I am much more visible. July 30, 2012
Nicely made and comfortable. Very nicely made and thought out product. Very visible fits perfectly and does not blow or flap at high speeds. Well made, lightweight and comfortable. To make this vest even better all the mfg. needs to do is make the Flag pocket big enough to hold Droid or I Phone, make that pocket Hi Viz with the Flag logo and the zipper pocket waterproof. If they did that I would purchase a second vest! July 16, 2012
