I was pleasantly surprised by this jacket -- for only $120 it seems really nice. It's incredibly breathable - I rarely got hot in two days of riding on a training course, and every little breath of air seems to come right through, which is great in hot weather. It also has a nice variety of features like zippered pockets, a snap-in liner, and side zips that increase the waist/belly size quite a bit, if you're on the rotund side like me. I think I may try to get the sleeves shortened a tad, at only 5'3" the medium sleeves are a hair long on me, which I'm used to in most garments, but overall not bad really. I got the hi-viz which is really bright and nice. The padding is probably not as high level as some, it's soft rubber not hard plastic, but feels substantial enough. A nice jacket overall that I look forward to wearing.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This jacket moves an incredible amount of air, so much so that I started to forget I was wearing it (always a good sign for a mesh jacket). The hi-viz colors definitely catch the eye and there's not so much black that you start to feel hot when you're sitting still--I think the two contrasting sets of panels work well together to make a sporty-looking jacket that still offers great conspicuity. Reflective piping across the front and back make it even more conspicuous at night though there are no large reflective panels to really stand out.
Fit was tricky for me. I'm 6'3, 215 lbs, with a 37" sleeve length. I think the XL was a better fit for my body shape (I'm not big bellied or stocky) and chest size, but the sleeve length was too short until I moved into a 2XL. As such, the jacket feels comfortable though just a tad loose; the shoulder and elbow armors slide around a bit and don't always end up staying where they should (I may try some velcro on the inside down the road to keep the armor where it belongs), though this may be more a side-effect of the fact that I'm wearing a jacket that's probably built for a wider guy than me.
Quality control missed a few things on my jacket--lots of hanging or over-stitched threads though no missed seams that I could find. Not sure if those hanging threads will start pulling down the road or not, but it seems pretty solid. The sleeve cuff snaps cover the zippers when closed (nice touch) and the multi-point adjustment straps, snaps, zippers, and pull tabs at the sides, waist, and arms allow a great deal of customization in fit.
The rain/wind-proof liner is just that, a liner, it's not a separate jacket that you could wear by itself (a la Olympia's removable liner/jackets) though it does have an embossed Fly Racing/star pattern in the vinyl that's a nice touch. The liner is pretty thin and feels a bit like those vinyl garmet bags you might get with a nice suit...but because it's just a solid sheet of vinyl, it's really just for repelling rain or breaking a cool breeze--it won't keep you warm if the weather turns very cold, though I wouldn't guess you'd be looking at a full mesh jacket for cold-weather riding anyway. The liner zips into both sides of the jacket VERY easily and the sleeve tabs are color coded with the attachment loops (white tabs to white loops, black tabs to black loops) so you won't inadvertently twist the sleeves when you run them through and attach them to the jacket--this is a rather brilliant bit of usability engineering and it's hard to believe that an idea so simple isn't used on more jackets with removable liners.
Note that the collar is topped with the same material as the liner with a little padding folded inside; it's not uncomfortable around the neck at all, but I personally wish it had been a softer neoprene or other stretchy fabric like my Olympia and Firstgear jackets. In particular, the vinyl collar "folds" or "crinkles" as it curves around the neckline rather than runs smooth and rounded from one side to the other (I've attached an image of the Fly jacket's collar, on the left, compared to my Kilimanjaro and Bushwacker jacket collars to give you a sense of what I mean). This effect doesn't show from anything more than a foot or so away, and it's much more of a styling issue than comfort as the collar isn't hard on the skin at all, but there's only so much information you can get from promo pictures on the website, right?
The fabric where the black stripe and reflective piping meet the much softer/thinner hi-viz mesh along the front zipper seam makes those points a little difficult to get the zipper up or down...at least on my jacket, I am constantly having to finesse the zipper past these points to get the jacket open and closed. I don't think I'll ever rip it, but some additional "buffer" material on either side of the zipper right near these transition points between the lighter mesh and much stiffer reflective piping might have helped a little.
Side pockets are straight-cut but big and easy to get into; they zip closed to keep stuff from falling out. They are mesh lined, not fabric-lined, so I wouldn't put anything sharp in them for the long haul. I've not used the internal zippered map pocket but there is one there on the left side up near the chest, as well as two lower interior pockets with Velcro top flaps on the inside of the jacket that even Fly Racing doesn't mention on their website.
My few nits about the collar and QC aside, this really is a great jacket for the sticker price--it is incredibly comfortable, sporty-looking while still offering hi-viz safety features, has more storage pocket capacity than I was expecting, and it vents an incredible amount of air even at low speed--if you're looking for a well-styled mesh jacket that won't break the bank, this one will definitely get the job done and then some.

Bought this as my first mesh jacket. Very comfortable jacket to wear and has excellent air flow. Riding in 95+ degree weather is very pleasant (with the removable liner out). Temps below 60 degrees require a sweater, because the cool air just sails through it. I'm 6' 2", 185 lbs. and chose size LG. Fits me well. Arm length is good, right to the end of the wrist with arms in riding position. The pockets are spacious and zippers work well. Collar on the Coolpro does not abrade the neck like some other mesh jackets do. The armor in the elbows, back and shoulders seem to be adequate. I wear a full length Dainese back protector under the jacket without a problem. The silver/black combination looks very sporty without being overdone. I have another better, more expensive mesh jacket, but this is the one I wear the most. Buy it! This is a great jacket for a nominal fee.

This is my first jacket, so hard to compare to others, but I did go through trying on several before settling on this -- and I am very satisfied with the choice for what it is: a low-cost, lightweight, warm weather jacket. Enough airflow to be comfortable on warm and humid South Texas mornings with a t-shirt underneath. The large fits me well through the chest, shoulders, and sleeves (6'1", 190 lbs); wish I could cinch the waist a bit tighter: only so much you can do with the velcro straps (and they do seem a bit flimsy). Armor seems less substantial than some others I tried, but it sits where it should and is almost unnoticeable. To me, the style is a nice compromise between cruiser and sport.

This jacket is perfect for all sorts of riding. You can put in the liner and/or throw a jacket on underneath and you ready to ride in the harshest conditions (which I was very thankful for). Or you can take the liner out and stay perfectly cool on the hot days while still retaining all the protection you want. I definitely recomend this jacket!

my only complaint is the liner. i found that the liner, though very lightweight, is a little tight. the fit is snug most likely due to the extra 10 i have around the middle. i have others that will replace it and fit under the jacket just fine, the jacket can handle it... or weight loss (yeah right). the jacket without it i found to be a nice fit. i am a hot person in any weather ...having said that sitting at lights in 85-90 degree weather it was warm/some what sweat producing but a lot less than one would expect wearing a jacket in the summer. once the ride continued it did it's job with no complaints. very cooling almost AC like..... i have the neon green/yellow jacket and the color is as loud as you would like if you want the visibility, i do. very satisfied with the jacket and the revzilla clan did a wonderful job.......
