Fly Coolpro II Jacket
Lots of air
First time I wore this in 95 degree heat I kept telling everyone over the mic what great airflow the jacket has. When we got home we took our jackets off. Everyone else was sweating and I was completely dry. Love my Hi-Viz jacket!
I wonder if I should upgrade the armor?

Got a medium
Just got this jacket and have used it twice. I was uneasy about the size, seemed a bit snug at first but, like most gear, conforms to match your body with some riding. I put that it runs slightly larger because I am a Large shirt but fit in this medium jacket nicely.
Most impressed with:
The quality of stitching
The durability of the mesh, seems like it will hold well in a slide
The 'customization' on the torso and arms.
Cons: like most mesh, you will want a long sleeve underneath, the mesh is not terribly comfortable on bare skin.

I bought the high-vis yellow and it looks great. With the removable liner it makes it a lot cooler. It does fit a little snug around the gut, but maybe that is me. For the price it is a quality product and has everything you need.

Great Fit, Good Protection, could use some fine tuning
I just got my first bike and needed a summer jacket to get started.
I wanted a hi-viz mesh, but didn't want to spend hundreds (after all, as a new rider, I need a bunch of gear right away).
This definitely fit the bill.
I'm 185 lbs, 43" chest and a large fit me perfectly with room to spare.
It's meant for sport riders - it's cut short so as not to bunch up in a tuck. However, I'm only 5' 7" and short-waisted so for riding in a comfortable 3/4 position on my Bonneville, it's actually perfect.
The mesh seems durable and the armor fits where it's supposed to. However, I predict that the velcro on the internal pockets is going to rip after regular unless reinforced.
Not the armor pockets, since I don't plan to remove the armor frequently, but the internal pockets for my wallet, keys, etc.
I've already planned to have them double-sewn before they wear and potentially rip.
Other than that small flaw, I think this is a solid product.

Good airflow, questionable protection
I bought this jacket for hot tropical weather as I already had a good jacket, but that was too hot. This jacket looks good and flows a lot of air, but I was dissapointed with the mesh material used in the construction of the jacket. It is very soft and more like the mesh they would use in underwear than heavy duty one would expect in a jacket. Because it is so soft the jacket is very comfortable, but also causes the armour in the elbows to easily slide around and I doubt it will stay in place during a fall. The snap closures on the wrists also failed after a week.

Better than I thought. Even though the jacket is heavy the air flow is fantastic keeping me cool on a 90 degree day. I recommend going up 1 size since the jacket runs a little small especially if you keep all the body armour in.

EXCELLENT Mesh Jacket for our TEXAS HEAT!!!
This Jacket lets the Air Flow much better than my Tour Master Intake 3.0 Mesh Jacket. I would say between the Coolpro II and the Tour Master, it's 100% Flow for the Coolpro II, and 75% for the Tour Master. I compared the two Jackets, and noticed that while both Jackets have Inner Pockets for Cell Phones etc., the Tour Master Jacket's Pockets are a Solid Pocket, while the Coolpro II Jacket has Mesh Inner Pockets, allowing more Air to flow into my lower Torso, keeping me Cooler. Additionally, the Upper Panels on the Shoulders on my Coolpro II are Mesh, while the Tour Master has Solid Panels, keeping Air from Flowing in the Upper Arm area. In fact, the ENTIRE Coolpro II is ALL Mesh, with No Solid Panels to restrict Airflow. There are plenty of Adjustment Straps and Snaps all around, and an Extra BONUS Feature I really like, Zippered Expansion Side Panels, to add a little more room for us Bigger Boys. This is the second Coolpro Jacket I've owned, and they're EXCELLENT for our 3-Digit TEXAS Temps during the Summer! Great Price and Great Product! I would have given it High Marks down the line, but knocked it down one notch for Durability. I've already had 2 Snaps come apart, and after using Fly's Extra Snap Kit that came with the Jacket, I had to buy a Snap Kit from Walley World to fix the Second Snap. Just a suggestion, but maybe try Velcro on Future Jackets? Other than that, the Fly Coolpro II is the BEST Jacket for Beating the Heat! I Highly Recommend it!

GOOD DAILY JACKET
I live in the north east where weather is quick to change, even in the summer time. I do a lot of night time riding and early morning riding on a sport bike, mostly around town.
I bough this jacket in hi-viz yellow to match my helmet and provide good visibility. The hi-viz color option is extremely bright and visible and there is a lot of the hi-viz on the jacket, unlike some other jacket options where the hi-viz is limited to a few small highlights. I can say that I have had many people remark on the brightness of the jacket, even during the daytime. At night, under mild street lamps, the jacket stands out like a construction zone entrance.
The mesh provides a good deal of ventilation under speeds greater than 45 mph, but under about 35 mph expect that you will not feel much air actively coming through. It will stay cool and dry but not nearly as much as not wearing a jacket.
The inner liner is very effective at keeping air from coming through and makes riding in 50 degree break of dawn weather very comfortable. However, the little snaps they use to tie the liner into the sleeves and neck are just about useless. They're bulky and awkward and do a poor job and securing the liner in place. The liner does zip to bother sides of the front part of the jacket which are effective to secure it, but when I use it I just zip it in and forget about those little snap tethers they put in there.
There are two front zippered pockets, one inner zip pocket, and two inner velcro pockets. The zippered pockets are very secure and are big enough to hold my oversized smartphone.
The reflective striping is pretty reflective, which adds to the visibility at night time. The design is good looking and the quality is there. It fits nicely for an average ride position. I am 5'8" and about 175 lbs and I bought a size large jacket which fits me perfectly.
When I got mine in the mail it was missing the shoulder and elbow pads thats were supposed to come with it. A quick call to Revzilla and they sent me out the pads at no additional cost, so props to them.
Good product, good price, good service from Revzilla. I would buy it again and am thinking about buying one for my wife.
