Given the boot's price, it's worth getting the right product
Given the boot's price, it's worth getting the right product.
The leather was visibly smoother / better after using this. So seems good. And its recommended to use the 'right' product so the Goretex membrane doesn't get clogged by the grease/ product used.
Now a fair warning: this STINKS. Some might like the smell, but I do not. So make sure to have your boots not too near where you can smell them for the first 24-48 hours. :-)

I followed the instructions(apply before wearing I think) and everything has been great. Buy if you have Daytona's. Note: I also got the other Daytona products.
1) water stop - haven't used
2) Black Refresher - haven't used
3) Zipper lube - recommended

Per the instructions, it is recommended to apply this product prior to first use of boots (I had not been aware of that until I received the polish) The polish goes on smoothly and leaves a subtle shine. My boots almost looked as good as new. The polish is easy to apply and quick to dry. I recommend it.

Incedible leather conditioner
I have used this product on my Daytona boots as well as all of my leather gloves. You are able to use the Daytona waterproofing for a great finish. I have used the Daytona products exclusively this year and will never use anything else. I was caught in this last storm front through Texas, I thought I might drown but my hands and feet stayed warm and dry!

Bit smelly but leather clearly likes it
Thought I'd grab a tube of this as my new pair of Daytona Roadstar GTX boots recommended some leather treatment to help the break-in process.
The polish has a rather 'rich' smell - not unpleasant but certainly quite strong. With that in mind the leather really does seem to like it, with the polish being absorbed very quickly with no visible residue.
As for break-in the boots are doing just fine post treatment. I'm finding that I can re-use the microfiber cloth I used for the original application to give them a buff after each ride as well so the polish will go a long way based on the small amounts you need to use.
Worth grabbing a tube in summary.
