Another excellent product! I've purchased other Dainese products and for some reason they just get it right every time. The comfort of this jacket is top rate! Obviously the style is great with all the added features. I have yet to wear the jacket without the liner but I'm sure the comfort level will be just the same as with the liner attached. This is a warm but very comfortable jacket. It is not bulky and the freedom of movement is perfect A great value for the price with the nice VR touch. Buy this jacket...you'll be glad you did! EXQUISITE JACKET!!! I'm a Filipino deep sea captain working overseas plying the Japan-China-North America route trading in the log business. I have ordered this jacket thru my local ship chandler in Seattle since I do not have a credit card. On my receipt of all my private orders from the internet, I am very particularly excited to see this wonderful jacket as this is my very first Dainese apparel (and very expensive as well). In opening the box, it was well shipped and folded in a very big box (well, for a jacket). It has a hanger included with a Dainese name on it. The jacket is very well made. No doubt about it. It was carefully made. The style is chic. The retro-reflective tapes in the front and back of the jacket seemed to be very durable and won't fade/flake-off easily after several washes compare to some regular tapes. It was not only designed to see you in daylight and night time but also served as a design which personally speaking, is cool. It has a built-in protection for the shoulder and elbow but none in the spine. The materials was made of durable materials. I couldn't tell yet of the air flow as I am not yet wearing it as I am still on board ship so I am not making any comment on this one. But judging on my first attempt to wear it upon receiving it, I am very much satisfied with the way it suits me. Additionally, it looks very cool and it adds "pogi" points to your looks. And because it is made by Dainese, we all know that it is made of high quality materials. Oh! Did I write that this is my very first time to make/write a comment as the jacket really deserved a praise? I am very happy with my new jacket and I will be buying again from Dianese. August 30, 2012
nice quality great quality as expected from Dainese. seems thicker than other textile jackets i have had, and doesnt flow air nearly as well. February 13, 2012

Answer: 
The yellow on the helmet matches the leather letters on the jacket, but the yellow textile part is more fluorescent...also the gold stripe running next to the yellow on the helmet makes it more yellow-yellow vs. day-glo yellow.

From the front not too bad, but from the back where all the other gold on the helmet is, we kind of think it would look funny.

Answer: 
This jacket does not come with a back protector, however there is a pocket for an insert, for which we would recommend the Dainese Wave G Back Protector.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
