How To Measure

C Chest Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits, keeping the measuring tape parallel to the ground.
W Waist Measure around your natural waistline, around the top of the hip bones, inline with the navel while keeping the measuring tape parallel to the ground.
HP Hips Measure the circumference, from pelvic bone to pelvic bone, at the widest part of your hips below the waist.
O Outseam Measure from from the top of your hip bone (typically inline with your navel) to the bottom of your ankle bone, along the outer side of your leg.
I Inseam Measure from the highest point of your crotch down to your ankle, along your inner leg.
H Height With no shoes on, stand with your back against a wall and your feet together. Measure from the floor to the top of your head.

Expensive, but worth it.
This is a very expensive suit but, in my opinion, the big increase in cost over a regular cowhide suit is more than made up for by the improved comfort.

The reduced weight and increased suppleness are immediately apparent. Pulling the suit on for the first time, one notices the lightness and absence of stiffness in the leather - wearing it back to back with regular cowhide really highlights the difference. The only initial downside with kangaroo is that it doesn't break in to the extent that cowhide does and may not be as durable over an extended time but I'll take that over the additional weight.

In use, this thing flows a ton of air, almost bizarrely considering it's construction and protection. With all the perforations and stretch panels there is very little of the suit which does not flow air and these areas are confined to the more vulnerable impact zones. Together with the comfort the kangaroo affords it doesn't at all feel like a one piece race suit. This is not my first Trickster but I can remember the first time I rode in one and how much more freedom and comfort I felt compared with all my other riding gear, to the extent that this is my go to suit for most riding situations. I'd rather wear this with layers over or under it to combat weather conditions than compromise safety with other gear, the only exception being if I was heading somewhere for dinner, etc.

There are a couple of criticisms I would make. Firstly, the suit to boot system makes use of stretch panels to accommodate this option. I would prefer it if the suit used an accordion type leather panel like the pro level suit uses. This gives a more finished appearance to the bottom of the suit when using the in boot system and adds a little extra protection. I would like there to be another inch or two in the leg just to give a little more cover at the ankle.

Secondly, like a lot of other Dainese gear, the perforations are messy. For this kind of money I expect the perforations finish to be as tidy as pretty much every other manufacturer manages.

Finally I would mention that the "fluoro red" areas of the suit are not properly represented by the Dainese / Revzilla photographs. The color is very orange, not red at all in real life. I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting it to match my bike. It's a minor gripe, I know, but if we didn't care also about how we looked we wouldn't be buying Dainese gear!

It's a fabulous suit and I really can't see myself riding in cowhide again unless I have no other option. "Once you go 'roo you never go moo"(?)

Amazing suit! Unmatched comfort!
I'm an expert CCS road racer, and I've been through a lot of suits through my career so far (agv sport, teknic, fieldsheer, dainese, Alpinestars, Rev'IT) Dainese always has me coming back for more due to their durable construction and hardshell armor designs. I prefer the hardshell armor with soft backing, seems to absorb the impacts much better, and provide "bracing" and "stiffness" that I find more protective when crashing at triple digit speeds. The soft armor other manufacturers use don't seem to do as well. That being said, I just walked (more like hobbled away) from a 100+ mph crash (turn 4 summit point) where I lost the front in a turn that has a wall very close by. I knew when I lost the front it was going to be bad, so I immediately put as much leather on the ground as possible to slow myself down before I hit the tire wall, I managed to burn some small holes through the elbow areas. I did impact the wall feet first, and suffered a minor contusion to one of my ankles (nothing broken). All in all, this was my first crash in a kangaroo suit, and it did very very well. Love the lightness and mobility that this suit offers, airflow is also incredible. Very expensive but its hard to go back to regular suits once you feel the "freedom" a kangaroo suit offers. Hard to believe, but it almost feels like you aren't wearing anything at all.

any idea when they are going to update the Trickster with elbow sliders and titanium hardparts on the knees?? considering even the lowest level Laguna seca comes with a elbow slider..
