Dainese Racing Leather Jacket
I have the perforated version of this jacket and its awesome. Breathes very well (when moving) and is really comfortable compared to some of the other leathers i've worn. My only real complaint with the jacket is that I have a little more room in the chest than I would like, it tends to bulge when riding. Which is why I rated it as slightly large.

This is my first Dainese jacket - I tried on just about every leather jacket at the Dainese store (Super Speed, Avro, Laguna, etc) and settled on this one because pricing was fair and I like the colorway (white/red/red). I also like that this does NOT have the speed hump, making it less "race-y" and allowing me to ride with a backpack. My other jacket, an Alpinestars Celer jacket, has a speed hump which I find obtrusive with a backpack on. Style-wise, I feel that this jacket is second to the Celer - I really like the aggressive look of the Celer!
The factors that drew me to the Racing jacket are 1) lighter leather that is more comfortable; 2) longer sleeve length that covers my wrist; 3) quality & finish which is better than the Alpinestar; and 4) tailoring that suits my body type. A word about my body type - I'm 5'10", 180lbs with a bit of a belly. My suit size is 40R in most boutique brands (Euro brands, not the US stuff that are overly generous in sizing) and shirt size is 16.5 x 33. I bought the Dainese in 50 Euro (40 US) and it fits me really well! What I particularly like is the sleeve length is perfect, unlike the Celer which is about 1.5" short of covering my wrist. The fit on this jacket is great even when new....I'm sure it'll loosen up with usage, so I'm really glad I didn't buy a larger size (not sure how people similar to my size are buying 54 or larger!).
I'm going to add a back protector to this jacket and will likely get the d3o protector since it's not too bulky (I dislike the turtle shell look of the Dainese G1/G2 slip in protectors). Overall, this jacket is a great compliment to the Celer that I have and since it feels like a lighter leather, I'll use it more as the weather warms up. However, make no mistake - this is still a non-perforated leather jacket and these things are not comfortable in 90 degree (Fahrenheit) heat (but what leather jacket is ?). Despite that, I still chose this over Dainese's textile jackets for the abrasion/tear-resistant quality of leather.
Anyhow, I'm happy with this purchase. The only "negative" thing I have to say is that I'm so impressed by the Dainese fit & finish such that I'm tempted to get a pair of Alien leather pants to compliment this jacket!

A true review !
I have truly tested this jacket on a crash accident on which I was ran off the street & landed on a V shape ditch that was 8' deep. Never the less I survived that crash with only a few scraches on my gear. Specially my jacket took the grunt of it after me getting pinned down on my bike. Fortunately enough I did NOT suffered any broken bones, lacerations or any kind of soreness aside from a huge scratch on my left forearm on my jacket.
You pay for protection .. don't go cheap on your body, by DAINESE.
Hope that's enough of a review for you guys out there trying to decide!

195, 5'11" bought a 44/54
Really like this jacket. I had wanted an Alien for the bubble liner but at the end of the season they were all sold out. I'm broad in the shoulders so this 54 rides up a bit and I find myself having to zip it to my Delta Pro pants (size 54) to keep my back protected. The fit is not tooooo snug. I haven't tried my back protector with it yet but I will this weekend on a track day. I think it'll fit nice and snug afterward. Wish I would have purchased the perf version but it was OOS when I ordered this one. Typical Daniese top notch construction and wonderful leather smell. Love their stuff.

Sweetest jacket ever
I've owned this jacket for about 5 months and there's been nothing but good thing to say about it. The styling is great, looks like a million dollar jacket. I get compliments everywhere I go. It isn't the best jacket in the summer heat, but what leather jacket is?

The Best MotorCycle Jacket I Ever Had.
The first thing that I noticed is the beauty of the jacket. Can't go wrong with any color as they all look really nice. The second thing is the price. It's quite expensive, BUT I have already forgotten about the price because to me, the perfect fit, the smell, the quality, comfort and awesomeness of the jacket in many ways overshadowed the price its price. Revzilla rewarded me a TeamZilla Cash Back - Now how freaking cool is that? Free Money! Keep in mind that this jacket though does not have many perforations, so it can get hot in there during hot days. I would suggest a jacket with many vents/perforations for the really hot summer days.

Incredible Jacket. Worth it.
I have fallen so deeply in love with this jacket. In a world where almost all motorcycle jackets seem to be made for guys with big beefy arms and torsos, it has been extremely difficult to find a slim-fitting jacket. This is it - and it is made absolutely impeccably. Also, it makes you look like a BAMF.
Dainese is expensive - but it is worth it. The protection is exceptional; arms all very well-covered with padding and hard armor where appropriate. I use the Dainese Wave back protector, which is seriously unnoticeable in this jacket. I wish Dainese gave it at least a little pad or something to start with instead of forcing you to buy the extra protector, but I digress.
The leather is beautiful and of extremely high quality - very sturdy and thick yet extremely flexible and comfortable. The fit is just unreal. It doesn't make you look a marshmallow. I am 130 lbs, 5' 8.5", very slim frame and the 46 fits me perfectly. (You are supposed to buy leather jackets a little snug, as they break in and stretch a bit with time)
This jacket is comfortable down to about 55 with just a T-shirt on. I have ridden in about 85 with it, and it is comfortable while moving - gets a bit toasty when stationary. Totally worth it for the protection and style. I chose this over the perforated one for the versatility; this is comfortable enough in warm weather and much better-suited to chilly weather.
If you can afford it, and want a jacket that actually fits to the body rather than floating around away from it, and want something that is made with extreme care and quality, buy this or another Dainese jacket.

great fit. awesome jacket
This jacket is one of the best money can buy. I was alittle skeptic about spending so much but well worth it. I am a size 48 - 50. The 50 fits great in every area. I have rode in 50 degree weather to 80. Not to hot or cold, it was perfect. I def feel like anything over 80 degrees would start to be alittle on the hot side. I barely notice that I am even wearing it, its so comfortable. Great jacket for the money. Also the smell of that leather is amazing. Highly recommended.
