This jacket looks awesome. It is very stylish yet very protective and confortable. It feels a little small on the arms but that gives you the sense of protection I think. I´ve only ridden it once. Almost 150 km at night, when I arrived home I saw the jacket really dirty. Mine is white which looks awesome but it gets dirty only by looking at it. You have to clean it after every ride.

I purchased this jacket during Revzilla's Black Friday sale. I've been eyeing the racing pelle for close to a year and was waiting for it to go on sale.
I purchased the size 34/44 in Black and it fits me like a second skin. I am 5ft7, 138lbs (30 inch waist) and it feels like it was custom made for me.
The jacket does not come with any liners but can easily fit 1-2 base layers under even with the fight fit. With 2 layers underneath, I was able to ride in this jacket down to about 40F on the freeway and comfortably up to 60F without any base layers. The weather just hasn't gotten up above 60F lately and that's why it hasn't been tested for higher.
The only problem I had with the jacket was that the main zipper seam came loose from the jacket only after wearing it for 3 times. I was able to take it to the Dainese D-Store for a free repair. The jacket has felt like new since.
Also, because of the 2 different shaped back protector slots, I was able to pick up a t-pro forcefield insert to make the jacket feel even more protective than it already was.
The reflective stripes on the elbows and back makes me feel more visible even with a black jacket. I hope to purchase a hi -vis vest for commuting to increase my visibility during morning and afternoon high traffic times.
These jackets fit a bit differently than the usual Dainese jackets, I am usually a 36 with Dainese, but the 34 in the racing pelle fit better.

This is my second Dainese jacket; the first one is the Newsan New. The Newsan has more pockets, D-Skin, and the bubble liner, but is more expensive. That said, the Racing jacket is extremely nice. All the details (logos etc) are cut and sewn leather. I got a white, white, red one, and it looks great with black leather pants and a carbon Vemar helmet. It's the end of summer here and quite warm but the Racing jacket is very comfortable. It has great elbow and forearm armor, maybe even better than the Newsan. The extra forearm armor made it a little tougher to put on my Held Titan gauntlet gloves but it was not a big deal. It zips up to my Dainese pants nicely and the jacket fits great in the riding position with it's shape (I have a Ducati 748). I was surprised when I got it to see that it has reflective inserts on the elbows just under the red expansion panels. Overall, this is a great jacket. It's not inexpensive but it's worth the money and looks fantastic.

I wanted to give the jacket a little bit of time before I even considered writing a review. As of writing this review, I have now owned and worn the jacket just about everyday for about two months, close to 1000 city and freeway miles.
It took some trying, but I finally got a size that fit. I'm a bigger guy and normally wear a 46-48 US jacket. I initially ordered a size 58, but the jacket wouldn't fit over my gut. I exchanged it for a 60, and it fits well. The length of the jacket is good. The only fit issue I have with the jacket is the sleeve length. If the sleeves were an inch or two shorter, it would fit perfectly. Thankfully, the elbow & forearm pads still sit in the right spot.
I like wearing gauntlet-style gloves. The extra length in the sleeves initially made it a bit of a pain to wear them. I almost considered switching to short cuff gloves, but I've gotten used to wearing gauntlets with this jacket.
I was initially looking at the Cage jacket because of its low-key looks. After returning it because it didn't fit, I decided to give the Racing jacket a go, despite thinking it looked a bit flashy in the photos. I thought it would make me look like I was overdoing it. I'm happy to say that my concern was unfounded. It really looks great in person and I've received many compliments on the jacket. I've had no problems wearing it off the bike. I do have to be mindful of the larger elbows because of the armor while I'm at a crowded bar, however, but other than that, it looks good and remains comfortable off the bike.
Speaking of comfort, the Racing jacket has remained comfortable even in the heat. Even with ambient temperatures reaching 85-90+ degrees F, I've never felt too hot in the jacket, even with the vents closed. In SoCal weather, I can see being able to wear this jacket year round, even in winter without having to wear layers underneath.
Build quality is very nice. I've had a few minor issues, though. After two months, the loop (fuzzy) part of the hook-and-loop cuff closure is already starting to break down. If it gets worse, I'll probably just cut it out and sew on a new patch of velcro. Also, the metal shoulder inserts seem to scuff easily. I have not gone down in the jacket, but the metal insert on the right shoulder became scratched up when someone decided to take my jacket off a chair and set it on the ground.
This is a fantastic jacket, and I'd be hard pressed to recommend anything else. I'm really happy with my purchase, and I can see myself wearing this jacket for years to come.

Bought this jacket back around beginning of Spring. Very nice jacket and it looks great! I wouldn't hang around town with it on, but when you're on a bike, it looks amazing. The airflow isn't as great as a perforated jacket, and it did feel comfortable up to low 80's here in NJ. Beyond that, it would probably become uncomfortable, especially if it's particularly humid. I'm 5'10 and 145 lbs (39.5" chest size). Size 50 fit great with the G2 wave protector, where it's snug but not too tight. I can squeeze in a light base layer to extend the season into early Spring or late Fall. As far as styling (on the bike), comfort and functionality, it's top notch! My only complaint is that the neck strap presses into my throat at highway speeds, so I sometimes need to pull on it a bit to remain comfortable. This can get annoying sometimes, but I can live with it given the other outstanding features of the jacket. You won't really know about this without riding with the jacket on at highway speeds. I was also considering the perforated Alien jacket and it was nice enough (more subtle styling), but I liked the racer fit of this jacket better. As always, folks at Revzilla have been great with their service.
