Good quality but flawed
Bottom Line: I am returning these knee guards, after trying them on in my house. I also bought the Knee V guard, and will be keeping those instead.

Comments: I've been on a search for good quality, protective and comfortable knee/shin guards, mainly to wear under kevlar jeans. The fit and finish of the Knee Six guard is very high. The soft material is comfortable, however the elastic bands on the top and bottom bunched up and became irritating after just a few minutes of walking around in my house. They also did not stay in place as well as I'd expect.

If you're on the fence between the Dainese Knee Six and Knee V, I'd go with the Knee V. They're more comfortable, more secure, possibly even more protective, and definitely cheaper.

Comfortable, stay in place, fit under my riding pants, or jeans for that matter. Ok to walk in.
I like these knee pads over armor in my riding pants because these will be where they are supposed to be in a crash. They are comfortable to wear and walk in. I can now travel with two pairs of riding pants, both with the knee armor removed, which allows them to pack much smaller, and I still have knee protection!

I see tehre being three sizes listed, but the Dainese sizing chart doesn't show the measurements for each. Any chance we could get a breakdown? I suspect I'm a large but want to be sure.

BEST ANSWER: I am a size 38 waist with 31" inseam. Large was fine for me, plenty of stretch in these. They do get hot. I am not wearing them as much as I thought I would. But sizewise there is a lot of stretch up or down for me. Not sure how to gauge my knee size... :). Good luck!
Is the price for a single knee proctector or is it for a set?
A shopper on Dec 13, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The Dainese Knee Six Soft Knee Guard comes as a set of two (2).
