Gen2 hayabusa
First let me say that this bag is very well built. Quality a finish are best in class, as always from Cortech. The mounting is where it falls short. The clips that are attached to the bag side are to long so it is impossible to get the thing tight. I spent 2 hours trying every rigged up way I could think of and it was still not secure. It may work for other bikes but for a 2008+ hayabusa it is just not good. As always revzilla customer service was great. Took the product back for a full refund. I had high hopes for this bag. Kind of disappointed.

nice addition to the bike
Just received tbe Cortech 24 L tailbag from revzilla. Shipping timeframe and packaging was excellent. The bag works great on my Honda CB 1100. You will have to do some experimenting with the supplied straps . I basically removed everything on the straps and attached male ends on the loops and ran them under the seat and cinched it down. Worked perfectly. The fit and streamlined design of this product looks good and with the expansion capabilities allows you to stash more stuff. Highly recommend this tailbag!

Great, but tricky to mount for me.
I love this bag, I'm extremely satisfied I bought it. However, when mounting it, I had no idea how to strap the rear end down to the frame. I didn't want just two straps holding down my laptop going down the highway. So I managed to use the saddlebag clips, go around my rear grab bar and buckle back into the female snap socket. I probably wouldn't of paid more than $100 bucks for something like this, but I wouldn't of paid less either. Best bang for buck.

PS: I drive an 06 SV650S

Great quality but the hold down straps let it down
The bag is excellent quality and looks decent on the back of my K1300S (compared to the stock BMW offerings) but I have to say it wasn't easy to install it on the BMW stock luggage rack. The supplied straps were very difficult to organise to get the bag tightly secured and I wasn't at all impressed with the loop through method I had to use to attach them to the luggage rack tie down points. I ended up having to use a cross pattern to make it work and that takes a little while to undo and redo when the bag is not required.
This wasn't a cheap bag so I didn't expect such a rudimentary strapping method. Something a little more sophisticated would have had me recommending this to anyone as the bag itself is brilliant, but as it stands I would not buy this product again or recommend others too simply because of the strapping method.

Worry free storage.
This bag got put to the test the very first ride I took with it installed on my '13 f800gs. Loaded it up with clothes, tools for 2 bikes, and other misc stuff for a 3 day, 800 mile journey. The expanding sides work well and the zippers are of good quality, never binding up with smooth, easy pulls. Shortly after me and a friend set out on our first 225 mile leg, it started pouring, bad. some of the worst rain I have ever experienced on 2 wheels. the included rain cover fit perfect and did its job. hours later when we finally arrived. I detached the bag from the bike with the clips and brought it inside. After 70-80mph in various levels of rain for almost 4 hours, everything was dry as a bone. There are several tail bags available for this price range, so much here on revzilla I honestly just picked one that looked alright and added to an order, figuring one day Ill replace it with a hard top case anyway, but after that trip, Im sold on it for now. It stays on the bike full time now, great for around town and more. you will not be disappointed.

Just the size to fit well on my FZ6R
Have a bigger tail bag on my Concours but it didn't look good on my FZ6R. Did some shopping at the local bike shops but couldn't find what I wanted until I saw this one on sale at Revzilla. Fits on the rear seat perfect and is big enough to take along a few things on a ride. Found that it will even fit two large Styrofoam takeout containers one on top of each other. Haven't had to enlarge it yet but it's nice to know that I can if I need to.

Nice quality tail bag for shorter rides.
I ride a 1st generation Multistrada and use this tail bag on occasions when my voluminous Givi E460 is redundant.

If I'm out for the day and I need to just carry some water, a snack, spare top and a camera, this bag is just the thing. Very good quality build and materials and sharp looking.

It straps neatly to my Bang Fabrication rack, in less than 30 seconds (after a little practice).

I cannot quite imagine how I'd fit 14L of anything into this bag. It's external displacement 'might' be 14L at a stretch, but its storage capacity seems less than a third of that. I might be wrong but I tried to visualize fitting 14 liter bottles into it and it just did not add up at all.

I only needed a small tail bag though, and it does everything I ask of it - and it is a great quality item.

Highly recommended!

Weekend size bag, had to do mods to mount the way I wanted.
I wanted this style of bag for weekend road trips, and the size is great. I can carry a couple changes of clothes, rain jacket and some limited tools when it is expanded to the full 24L size. Zippers and build quality seem very good. The included waterproof cover is a bonus.

The mounting straps are quite long and have a buckle at one end with a loop at the other. they are intended to be fastened to the bike using these straps. There are 4 corresponding buckles at the corners of the bag. On my 2007 Monster 695 I wanted to strap it around the seat in a way that would still allow me to remove the seat with the bag attached. Since the straps all had buckles on one side, I had to do some cutting on the straps. I'm only using two straps now, but they have buckles at each end and are much shorter. It hugs the seat snugly and with the anti-slip material on the pad below the bag I have no worries about it moving. I can also quickly remove the bag by unsnapping the four buckles and then re-attach just as easliy.

As you can see from the pictures the bag is almost too wide for the seat, but works great.

Great luggage option for Sport Bikes!`
After 5 years of owning my Cortech sport tailbag, it was time to move on.. the Super 2.0 is great and the mounting system is even better than the old bungee hook system. Initial setup takes a bit but once the strap length is figured out it's pretty easy on and off. I have the larger size with the expandable sides and I'm glad I paid the extra cash for it.

This bag is awesome
This bag is awesome. Install wasn't too bad, but I didn't see any directions.

The plus with this bag is the expandable sides. I can fit my large laptop bag in it and with lots of room to spare. The only thing I wish cortech would do is allow holes in the zippers to put a small pad lock thru.

Looking for a streamlined tailbag for my Kawasaki Vulcan Custom. I wanted to make sure the straps don't come in contact with the really nice paint. I don't always want to wear a backpack on my bike, especially if I'm taking a trip. I also now have a longer commute to work and wanted to have a tail bag ready for the upcoming nice weather. I ordered the large (24L) to be sure I would have plenty of room for whatever I decide to take along, or any groceries or items I will need to pick up on the way home! This bag has good reviews and looks decent in the pictures. I like the features: inner pockets, red liner, and the pouch for the rain cover.

I also needed something large enough for my frogg toggs and a few other things for everyday commuting and for short weekend trips up to the mountains. I want to put a standard 13" long laptop in it. Will it work?
A shopper on May 30, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Yes, I can place my 15" Macbook Pro inside when it's unzipped and depending on what else is put in along with it I can sometime zipper the expansion panels back in place.
Does the smaller 14 liter Cortech Super 2.0 tail bag have the expandability feature just like the larger size?
Thanks
A shopper on Oct 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: No, the 14 liter Cortech Super 2.0 does NOT expand. I had to return mine because I assumed that it did.
Has anyone mounted the 24 Liter Cortech 2.0 tail bag to a 2013 Street Triple? I am concerned that the width (14-18 inches) is a little wide, as the rear portion of the seat is only 7-8 inches wide. I assume the 14 Liter bag would fit better, but it seems too small to be practical.
Thanks.
A shopper on Mar 2, 2014
BEST ANSWER: What I meant to say was: Without the grab rails, however, the rear attachment point might be problem. You would probably need to slide the bag forward on the seat quite a bit to get a secure mounting. The other option would be to run the straps down to the rear license plate mounting bars, but this would leave the straps exposed and might look a little unfinished.
Will this bag hold a full-face helmet?
A shopper on Aug 31, 2012
BEST ANSWER: No - way too small for that. It would barely hold a turtle shell hat.
I do a lot of cruising around with my BMW K1300S and would like a tail bag that holds enough for a day trip. I carry my
tire plugging kit, air compressor, gloves, rain gear...ect. I also bungie my bike cover to the top of the bag. I was wondering
if either of the bags have eyelets to hook some bungies to. I also like the way the Cortech is mounted to the bike. Do you like one design over the other. I am also planning on getting a Rev'it Sand 2 jacket before riding season here in Michigan.
Will you be having another sale before spring?
Thanks for your help.

I'm wondering how this bag is attached to the back of the bike? because my bike has some bars on the side and the picture I saw the bag appeared to be tied around the tail.
A shopper on Jun 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It comes with straps you can attach pretty much anywhere. They have plastic buckles which makes it really easy to take it on and off. You will have to leave the anchor straps attached to your bike for the most convenience. I did with my harley, and it was not a big deal.
Will this bag fit two gallons of milk?
JoshB on May 13, 2014
BEST ANSWER: no two gallons will not fit, I put a bottle water, face sheild cleaner, cloth, wallet cell phone, which will leave enough room for extra gloves and maybe a well folded jacket liner
I want to ask that item can be fit for bmw S1000RR ?
Tamer A on Apr 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I'm sure it will fit, comes with few straps, pretty much adjustable for any bike. I switch it back and fourth from a honda shadow to my xb12s
Can this bag be mounted on a cruiser luggage rack with no sissy bar? I have a Yamaha Stryker. Pic shows sport bike.
A shopper on Apr 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: As with most of this stuff, where there's a will, there's a way. Mine is mounted on an Aprilia Shiver. With the grab rail set-up on the tail of my bike, it was a snap to mount. Looking at pics of your Stryker, it could pose a little challenge! It there is room (and flexibility) under the seat to snap the buckles underneath it, you may be in business. Then again, you don't want to put your seat hardware in too great a bind. Revzilla folks are great to work with, so if you order it you won't have any problem exchanging it if it doesn't work. So far as the product itself, I am very happy with it. It is first class material and workmanship all the way.
Is the quoted 24L capacity expanded or not expanded? If 24L is NOT expanded, then what is the expanded size?
A shopper on Jan 23, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I believe that is the capacity expanded. I think the capacity is 12-18 L unexpanded.
