Great tail bag!
This is an excellent tail bag. It's high quality and the expandable sides are very handy. The install was a little tricky on my bike but overall I'm very very pleased.

Solid Tail Bag
The fit and finish of the bag is great. It is also appreciate that it comes with its on rain cover which works well and does not flap around in the wind at higher speeds. The side expansions are easy to use and are very welcome as it is very easy to adjust your needed size depending on your trip and load requirements. Once the straps are in proper place the bag does not shift or move at all. The only caveat I have is that one has to be careful when taken the bag off, as the straps, which is the case with my bike, will hang on the exhaust and they would melt. I have dealt with that by pulling all the straps up and holding them together with a small bungee cord. Other than that I would highly recommend this bag. As always the service by Revzilla was best to none.

great bag
Tail luggage looks good with the matching saddle bags. The material looks heavy duty. When expanded, the bag is bigger than expected and I like that. I would recommend this to anyone looking for luggage to put on their bike.

Just the size to fit well on my FZ6R
Have a bigger tail bag on my Concours but it didn't look good on my FZ6R. Did some shopping at the local bike shops but couldn't find what I wanted until I saw this one on sale at Revzilla. Fits on the rear seat perfect and is big enough to take along a few things on a ride. Found that it will even fit two large Styrofoam takeout containers one on top of each other. Haven't had to enlarge it yet but it's nice to know that I can if I need to.

If A Small Bag Will Work for You
I purchased the saddlebags and tailbag. I wanted small bags... and that is what I got. You better want small bags if you choose these. The bags seem well constructed and have a good appearance. The four quick connect belts from the tail bag to the saddlebags work great. When I don't have the saddlebags on and the tail bag is not expanded, then I loop those four belts through the luggage rack and connect them into the four receiving quick connects on the sides of the tail bag... very secure mounting. The tail bag has a good handle for carrying the bag as luggage when needed. In order to carry my laptop (11" x 8"# I need to expand the tail bag. I had the tail bag on in a heavy rain for a couple of hours and the rain cover, stored readily available in a back pocket, kept the inside dry. I double plastic bag the stuff inside anyway #belt and suspenders mentality# but never have to whine about wet stuff. What would I recommend to Cortech? I added two grommeted holes through the bottom of the bag so that I could run a security wire from inside the bag out one gromment holes around the luggage rack and through the other grommet hole back into the bag to the lock. Does not make it theft proof but no one can just pick it up and walk away with it now. That way I don't feel like I have to carry the bag around when I stop somewhere. The rubberized cover on the bottom of the bag seals the grommet holes from dirt or weather during use if you are thoughtful about where to locate the grommet holes. I bought the security wire from Philadelphia Security Products. I also put a grommet hole above the main compartment zipper pull #in that neat zipper nest space# and drilled a hole in the zipper pull, so I could put a lock on that. Use one of those TSA type luggage cable locks. Again, it won't stop someone from cutting the bag open or somehow otherwise working at stealing my stuff but at least they won't just unzip it and walk away with my iPod and GPS and other valuables when I leave the bike for a few hours. The tailbag is a good day bag and I can fit tools and other stuff in there no problem. I am less impressed with the saddlebags. Need to expand those to just to make it through a weekend if you carry tools and raingear and normal amounts of travel-in-comfort stuff. I need to come up with something for attachment. I drape them over the luggage rack and use the supplied quick connect belts front-to-front and back-to-back. It is sufficient but not elegant. I need to find a way to secure the connecting bridge of the saddlebags to my luggage rack. I put three grommet holes through that connecting bridge so when I loop the security wire though the luggage rack I also loop it through the saddlebags connecting bridge grommet holes. Same rationale... someone cannot just walk away with those now either. Generally happy with these. I looked and looked on line and at stores before I purchased these and never found anything I liked better that had a small footprint and as good of build quality. As always RevZilla is great.
