Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bag
Nice quality tail bag for shorter rides.
I ride a 1st generation Multistrada and use this tail bag on occasions when my voluminous Givi E460 is redundant.
If I'm out for the day and I need to just carry some water, a snack, spare top and a camera, this bag is just the thing. Very good quality build and materials and sharp looking.
It straps neatly to my Bang Fabrication rack, in less than 30 seconds (after a little practice).
I cannot quite imagine how I'd fit 14L of anything into this bag. It's external displacement 'might' be 14L at a stretch, but its storage capacity seems less than a third of that. I might be wrong but I tried to visualize fitting 14 liter bottles into it and it just did not add up at all.
I only needed a small tail bag though, and it does everything I ask of it - and it is a great quality item.

This bag is a cut above your average tail bag
This is a very nice bag with well above average materials, construction quality. It does not look like some add on canvas bag you bungeed to your bike. It practically looks like a custom item specifically designed for your bike. With some thought and trial and error, I have it very securely attached to the rear fender of my '13 Suzuki dr650, leaving for access to the back seat. Finally, Revzilla got this bag to me with free shipping in two days; impressive!
One note: I got the 14L size, and as a previous reviewer noted, it is not expandable. I wanted a small bag and that's what I got. But it is small. It holds my sweatshirt, as pair of gloves, a scarf, and a hat. At that makes it full. If you have the space, pay the extra few dollars and get the bigger bag. But this small one sure is clean.

Great, but tricky to mount for me.
I love this bag, I'm extremely satisfied I bought it. However, when mounting it, I had no idea how to strap the rear end down to the frame. I didn't want just two straps holding down my laptop going down the highway. So I managed to use the saddlebag clips, go around my rear grab bar and buckle back into the female snap socket. I probably wouldn't of paid more than $100 bucks for something like this, but I wouldn't of paid less either. Best bang for buck.
PS: I drive an 06 SV650S

14L Cortech Super 2.0 Does Not Have Expandability Feature
Just a heads up on the smaller 14l size. It does not offer the expandability feature of the larger 24 l size. Just got one thinking it did indeed have that feature but it does not. Cortech is even sending out a label with the smaller tail bag stating.."main compartment is expandable." Return was handled with no hassles and I'm exchanging for the larger size.

perfect for my needs!
Works perfect for my bike, easy on and off! Using it for commuting. Really like the size and low profile!

Nice looking bag, well put together. A little smaller than I imagined but I can live with that. Fits well on my FZ1 that has an odd tear drop shaped rear end.

Exactly as advertised
I was going on a long trip and wanted a bit more storage, so I picked up this tail bag to complement my Super 2.0 Saddlebags. I was a little worried about how well it would fit on my Ninja 650, as the only size available to order was the larger size. My worries were unfounded, it fit on the tail fine, even if expanded all the way.
Space wise, I was able to fit in a 14 inch laptop with one of the expansions opened. It almost fit with nothing expanded, so if you are trying to fit in a smaller laptop, you can probably manage it with nothing extended.
Mounting the bag without the saddlebags looks complicated, but all the straps are included with the protective padding to protect your paint. Mounting to the saddlebags was very easy and a snap to do.
Durability wise, I took the bags on an 8 day 1600 mile road trip recently, and they look as good now as when I first got them. No obvious spots of wear or stitching coming loose.

Had a Cortech Super 2.0 backpack, which I loved - except I carry a laptop & accessories to work, 1 hour / 1 way. 2 hours per day on a sport bike carrying extra lb's on my back caused too much back & neck fatigue.
So I decided to give this tail bag a try, and I love it. I can carry everything I need for my work day with nothing pressing on my back, and I haven't even needed to expand the sides yet. My 13" MacBook fits in perfectly, but if you have a larger laptop you will need to expand the sides (which is easy to do).
I generally am not a fan of luggage on sport bikes, but this actually looks pretty cool. Easy to take off, and fairly easy to get on. Un-clips with 4 clicks and becomes a soft briefcase, with a solid carry handle (and included shoulder strap if you need it). Has a built in rain cover too!
