Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bag 4.7 5 39 39
Well constructed and easy to install The 24L bag is mounted on a 2013 Yamaha FZ1. Very easy to install. The bag is constructed very well and represents a good value. September 26, 2014
Great city bag This is a great city bag. I thought about going with the smaller one buy ended up choosing this one and I do not regret it. This bag allows me to commute to work and pick up things around the city with ease. I was looking for something that would not look huge on the bike as I like more discreet things and this bag works very well for that. It is stylish, minimal, and blends in nicely with the bike. I have a Tiger 800 XC and you can strap the front straps to the frame and the back straps to the metal license plate bars that stick out. Proven to work at freeway speeds. 2013 Tiger 800 XC September 20, 2014
Great alternative for top box Worth the price of a product that can expand when needed. No need to worry about sudden lack of space. Installation took a bit of creativity and experimenting with different bike choices. Mounted on my CB1100EX using OEM tail rack as a base. Durability is still being tested. Feels like it is made of lasting material. September 9, 2014
Great bag! Looks sharp and is priced right. On my new R Nine T, I thought of buying the very expensve BMW tail bag but decided to see what else was avaiable first. I needed something to make my bike a good commuter bike and provide me with some storage for rain gear, some clothes, and shoes without looking like I'm going on an expedition in the Sahara. I like my Cortech air mesh jacket and pants so I decided to give their bags a shot. Bag looks great and appears to be great quality. Good strong nylon and the inside is soft and very red. I got the larger bag and the size is perfect for the dimentions of my bike. Installation was a bit of a pain as the instructions were not very specific. Once I realized that it was a loop-through type system it was quite easy. The bag is made to be quick release but once the straps are tightened you have to release some tension in order to reinstall the bags which could be a pain if you take it on an off a lot. Also, security is nil as there is no way provided to lock the bag. These minor girpes considered, the bag suits the purpose that I bought it for. If I need additional storage, the matching saddlebags will be my next purchase. The bag looks good and matches my bike very well. Overall, I am very happy with this product and find it a great value. August 21, 2014
Great bag holds just enough I have had this bag for about 3 months and 2k. I have a bmw s1000r that has no storage this bag is small enough so I can swing my leg over the bike and not hit the bag. The bag will hold my wallet, phone, face shield cleaner, cloth, extra gloves, my jacket liner(vest) and a bottled water, it's been perfect. July 11, 2014
Great tail... for the right bike Love the bag, but there just doesn't appear to be a secure way to attach it to my bike (2013 Honda CB1100) unless my Hepco & Becker saddlebag mounts are in place. June 23, 2014
tailbag/pillion bag for a Rebel Just wanted to share with any potential Rebel owners looking for some extra storage. Did a bit of reworking with the straps but was able to snugly attach the Cortech to the rear passenger seat by crisscrossing the straps under the seat; no anchor points elsewhere on the bike. Fits nice, good complement to the shape and style of my Rebel, pretty decent storage...extra shirt, shorts, low sneakers. Also good for a small shopping trip to auto shop, pharmacy, etc. Coming up with the current strap situation was time-consuming but now am very pleased with the purchase. June 23, 2014
A well-made very functional tail bag This bag together with the super 2.0 saddle bags makes a great commuter set. They all fit on my Honda CB500X with no mods to the bike. This means a complete set of luggage for less than the supports for hard bags. The bags are made very well and the expansion feature is truly useful...so buy the large bag! I use two cable locks to secure the saddle bags and tail bag to the grab rails and these double as helmet locks too. I can commute to work, go to the gym and bring home some groceries all in one trip! June 16, 2014

A shopper asked: Has anyone mounted the 24 Liter Cortech 2.0 tail bag to a 2013 Street Triple? I am concerned that the width (14-18 inches) is a little wide, as the rear portion of the seat is only 7-8 inches wide. I assume the 14 Liter bag would fit better, but it seems too small to be practical.

George B: What I meant to say was: Without the grab rails, however, the rear attachment point might be problem. You would probably need to slide the bag forward on the seat quite a bit to get a secure mounting. The other option would be to run the straps down to the rear license plate mounting bars, but this would leave the straps exposed and might look a little unfinished. May 15, 2014

Shaun B: Also keen to hear of other 2013 Street Triple's luggage solution.

I'm still undecided.

George B: I installed the 24 liter bank on my Street Triple yesterday. I have the optional rear seat grab rails, and the fit is perfect. With the grab rails, however, the rear attachment point might be problem May 15, 2014

A shopper asked: I'm wondering how this bag is attached to the back of the bike? because my bike has some bars on the side and the picture I saw the bag appeared to be tied around the tail. Jun 24, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Tim C: It comes with straps you can attach pretty much anywhere. They have plastic buckles which makes it really easy to take it on and off. You will have to leave the anchor straps attached to your bike for the most convenience. I did with my harley, and it was not a big deal. Jun 25, 2014

taylor b: It comes with straps that you may run under the rear fairing. Unsure if you could run them beneath the seat since i have the sidebags aa well Jun 25, 2014

Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jeff t: no two gallons will not fit, I put a bottle water, face sheild cleaner, cloth, wallet cell phone, which will leave enough room for extra gloves and maybe a well folded jacket liner May 19, 2014

A shopper asked: Can this bag be mounted on a cruiser luggage rack with no sissy bar? I have a Yamaha Stryker. Pic shows sport bike. Apr 6, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Richard B B: As with most of this stuff, where there's a will, there's a way. Mine is mounted on an Aprilia Shiver. With the grab rail set-up on the tail of my bike, it was a snap to mount. Looking at pics of your Stryker, it could pose a little challenge! It there is room (and flexibility) under the seat to snap the buckles underneath it, you may be in business. Then again, you don't want to put your seat hardware in too great a bind. Revzilla folks are great to work with, so if you order it you won't have any problem exchanging it if it doesn't work. So far as the product itself, I am very happy with it. It is first class material and workmanship all the way. Apr 7, 2014

Alfredo R: A buddy of mine has an 883 w/o a luggage rack and I don't see how he could on his bike. You may be able to as long as you can set all four straps on the rack. The straps are extendable. Apr 7, 2014

A shopper asked: Will this bag hold a full-face helmet? Aug 31, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: Typically, when a helmet fits inside of a tail bag/case the product page states so. For instance on the Givi V46 Monokey Topcase product page, it states "The V46 case can hold 1-2 full face helmets (varies by helmet model)." Comparing the two bags dimensions I would have to say that a helmet will not fit into the Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bag. Sep 4, 2012
Reply to RevZilla Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
PittsDriverWes: No - way too small for that. It would barely hold a turtle shell hat. May 27, 2013

BigBlaze7OG: No, but it says it will hold a 3/4 helmet plus additional cargo Sep 6, 2012

A shopper asked: I do a lot of cruising around with my BMW K1300S and would like a tail bag that holds enough for a day trip. I carry my
tire plugging kit, air compressor, gloves, rain gear...ect. I also bungie my bike cover to the top of the bag. I was wondering
if either of the bags have eyelets to hook some bungies to. I also like the way the Cortech is mounted to the bike. Do you like one design over the other. I am also planning on getting a Rev'it Sand 2 jacket before riding season here in Michigan.
Will you be having another sale before spring?
Thanks for your help.
