Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bag
Cortech is synonomous with quality
Great flexible fit with the adjustable straps. Takes a little time 1st try but you will find the perfect fit. Used on trip around the UP Mi and hit hard hard downpour - cover kept inside completely dry. Great looking as well

Overall good quality bag
I was pleased with the material and construction of this tail bag. There is a fair amount of space for such a small profile bag. My only issue was the installation. I could not use the under-the-seat passenger piece that came with the bag. It would not work on my Harley Softail Deluxe. After several different attempts to attach the bag firmly, I got one that worked. I attach it by using the four straps, two around my luggage rack and two around the small rail directly behind my seat. It attaches firmly and goes on and off quickly for when I do not need it on the bike.

I purchased the large version of this bag mainly because I was tired of wearing a backpack to and from work. I was considering getting the smaller version but now that I see how the large version sits on my R6, I am glad that I went with the bigger size. Looks and style are great, especially the reflective lines and overall shape of the bag. I have plenty of space for anything and I can separate them in the different pockets available to me. The installation was very easy and gave me plenty of options to try and secure it to my motorcycle in a sturdy manner. As for durability, I can't really say that much because I have only had it for a few weeks but the perception is that the material feels strong and there are no lingering strings or weakly sewn areas. The price did not break the bank at all and I am overall extremely happy with this purchase. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Weekend size bag, had to do mods to mount the way I wanted.
I wanted this style of bag for weekend road trips, and the size is great. I can carry a couple changes of clothes, rain jacket and some limited tools when it is expanded to the full 24L size. Zippers and build quality seem very good. The included waterproof cover is a bonus.
The mounting straps are quite long and have a buckle at one end with a loop at the other. they are intended to be fastened to the bike using these straps. There are 4 corresponding buckles at the corners of the bag. On my 2007 Monster 695 I wanted to strap it around the seat in a way that would still allow me to remove the seat with the bag attached. Since the straps all had buckles on one side, I had to do some cutting on the straps. I'm only using two straps now, but they have buckles at each end and are much shorter. It hugs the seat snugly and with the anti-slip material on the pad below the bag I have no worries about it moving. I can also quickly remove the bag by unsnapping the four buckles and then re-attach just as easliy.
As you can see from the pictures the bag is almost too wide for the seat, but works great.

I bought this as a replacement for an older version of the same bag--I'd been using the old one for about 6 years, and after plenty of hard wear it was finally time to replace it. This one is a little snazzier in appearance, but appears to be just as durable and functional as the old one. I like that they added a back pocket to separately store the rain cover (also makes a good quick-access spot for other things, like my key card for work). My only complaint is that the new strap system took a lot of work--adjusting, readjusting-- to set up on my bike; the straps are just way too long to use with the hooks my bike is equipped with, and it's not as quick and convenient as the old bungee system.

Good product that fits my bike - Moto Guzzi Griso
Product mounts easily, has nice pockets in the flap, and a soft inner lining. The rain cover is a nice addition.

great bag, installation is tricky
Cortech delivers on the quality materials, functionality and durability of this tail bag. The expandable feature is terrific and all the zippers are very smooth. However, the installation is difficult to get it secure and I couldn't use the quick attach pad and straps that come with the bag. Fortunately, my bike comes with 4 metal hooks that swivel out from under the seat to help attach things to the back part of the seat. I used these to attach the bag with via the 4 straps that are attached directly to the bottom of the bag. It's great that Cortech has this set of straps attached but this install method make it more difficult to remove and reattach the bag quickly. It's not their fault that every bike has a different seat and fender config but I would pay extra to get an adapter kit of some kind to allow the quick attach detach to be a no-brainer on my specific bike.

My exhaust is under the seat so it took a little bit to figure out how to mount the bag. But after that I can can have it on and off in about 2 minutes. The bag looks good and carries everything I need for a day trip.
