Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bag 4.7 5 68 68
Great lunch box This has been a great bag to carry my lunch and other needs to carry to work. November 2, 2015
Great Tail Bag I am very pleased with Cortech tail bag. Spent a day riding 150 miles in the rain and the rain cover worked great. September 28, 2015
Great quality but the hold down straps let it down The bag is excellent quality and looks decent on the back of my K1300S (compared to the stock BMW offerings) but I have to say it wasn't easy to install it on the BMW stock luggage rack. The supplied straps were very difficult to organise to get the bag tightly secured and I wasn't at all impressed with the loop through method I had to use to attach them to the luggage rack tie down points. I ended up having to use a cross pattern to make it work and that takes a little while to undo and redo when the bag is not required. This wasn't a cheap bag so I didn't expect such a rudimentary strapping method. Something a little more sophisticated would have had me recommending this to anyone as the bag itself is brilliant, but as it stands I would not buy this product again or recommend others too simply because of the strapping method. September 24, 2015
Perfect addition to the saddlebags I bought this in conjunction with the Super 2.0 saddlebags. They stay on all the time and the tail bag goes on very easily when I need more storage for a stop at the store, overnight stay, etc. Takes only two minutes to securely put it on or take it off. Solid quality and a great look. September 14, 2015
Great Tail Bag for Any Bike I do alot of weekend trips on my bike, this tail bag made this exceptionally simpler. The bag holds a surprising amount of clothing, especially when expanded. I am usually able to fit a few pairs of jeans, a water bottle, a pair of shoes, a few shirts, socks, a spare visor and a few other goodies in the bag before I need to consider bringing along extra luggage. The bag is super secure with the straps provided and once you get used to it the bag can be taken on and off the bike in under 3 min. The construction is great, and having been able to test the waterproof cover in many situations I can say that it works very well, even in a downpour. I would give this bag a perfect score if it wasnt for the fact that if you want to take the bag off you must keep the straps on the bike or take them off and have to reinstall them. Also the straps have scratch resistant sections that go over the motorcycle, however depending on the weight of your load small scratches can still be made. All in all this is an amazing buy! September 2, 2015
Great size for day trips I use it for a rain suit in a stuff sack, tire repair kit, mini pump, and a bottle or two of water. It is the perfect size for that. August 31, 2015
Great product! I bought this bag for a little more carrying capacity. Works perfect and looks good. I can fit quite a bit of stuff in it when I stop at store or stuff warmer clothes in it. It seems pretty durable but I've only had it one season, so time will tell. August 31, 2015
Cortech is synonomous with quality Great flexible fit with the adjustable straps. Takes a little time 1st try but you will find the perfect fit. Used on trip around the UP Mi and hit hard hard downpour - cover kept inside completely dry. Great looking as well August 4, 2015

A s: Wanted to use it for commuting, but my laptop won't fit unless the sides are expanded, making it kind of large. WIll probably end up returning this. Sep 28, 2015
Shawn P: Matches with my Cortech Saddlebag 2.0 system that I got from my girlfriend for my birthday. The fitment is a little odd because you feel like you have straps everywhere but it does clip on nicely and I've put about 4000 miles on them. Sep 8, 2015
John H: Price, easy off when I don't need it, on line reviews. Sep 7, 2015
corey s: need some storage, but didn't want bulky saddle bags on a sport bike Aug 20, 2015

Bring Back Anthony. He makes the products much more interesting. The guy describing these saddle bags does a good job, but he doesn't need to be a comedian. Anthony got my psyched to buy stuff. This guy..........meh :(
Thank you.

Minh-Son D: the previous iteration has served me well for 30K+ of road trips overt 5 years. i am a fan of the bungee straps. i am curious how the cinch straps will work. Jul 24, 2015
Megan W: I chose this bag because I wanted something with a form, not just a loose bag. I also needed something large enough for my frogg toggs and a few other things for everyday commuting and for short weekend trips up to the mountains. I needed to get my back pack off my back, it hurt way too much. After looking at all the options for tail bags this seems to be the best fit for me, I just wish it was waterproof without the cover. Brad A: It semi-ridged and stores a fair amount of stuff. Jul 4, 2015

James F: I've purchased other Cortech items and like the quality. Video review from Revzilla also helped me decide. Good quality Products at reasonable prices. Jun 5, 2015

J E: Needed storage for long trips. May 4, 2015
Anthony P: Good brand, your product video - very informative. I needed a bag with form that would mount to my sport bike. This was the largest that would fit and hold laptop for commuting and trip gear for the road. It had good reviews, and I also liked the design of the mounting system. I liked that there are saddle bags I can get later. Apr 29, 2015
Bruce A: Great tail bag. Fits perfectly on my Gen 2 KLR rack. Quickly expands to throw in those extra things I need now and then. Apr 18, 2015
David T: It's expandable, and looks simple to use - I'm planning on running it with the Super 2.0 saddlebags when I decide to buy those. For the time being, I'll be using this to carry light gear on day-rides. Apr 15, 2015
Matthew B: Going fast is great, going fast with stuff is sometimes better. Prefer tail bags to tank bags. Apr 4, 2015
Kyle B: I have (and like) the Cortech saddlebags, so this is a natural progression. I'm not ready yet for passengers, so it makes sense for me to have this, especially when I go for rides with my friends. Apr 3, 2015
kenneth s: Fir my wife's bike Mar 27, 2015
Robert J: I just bought a Buell 1125R. This bag was recommended by several buell forums. Feb 13, 2015

John R: PERFECT FIT & tie down with Yoshimura Fender Eliminator Kit Honda CBR1000RR 2010-2014 Feb 2, 2015
N A: I needed this to bring a lunch and other small tools as well as some clothes to work. It has never failed me and the water resistant layer you can put over it works well. It can also increase in size in case you would like to pack even more things into it. I am super happy with it and it is big enough to bring what I need to work. Jan 30, 2015
WILLIAM T: Own the smaller 14L and love it. Want a little more space for longer trips. Jan 18, 2015
doug g: I have the 12 liter version on my VTX1300. I have a single Mustang seat with a driver back rest. It looks great the way the bag tapers to the rear fender. So I ordered the 24 liter size for my M109R. Dec 26, 2014

A shopper asked: Has anyone mounted the 24 Liter Cortech 2.0 tail bag to a 2013 Street Triple? I am concerned that the width (14-18 inches) is a little wide, as the rear portion of the seat is only 7-8 inches wide. I assume the 14 Liter bag would fit better, but it seems too small to be practical.
Mar 2, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (2) No (0)
George B: What I meant to say was: Without the grab rails, however, the rear attachment point might be problem. You would probably need to slide the bag forward on the seat quite a bit to get a secure mounting. The other option would be to run the straps down to the rear license plate mounting bars, but this would leave the straps exposed and might look a little unfinished. May 15, 2014

Shaun B: Also keen to hear of other 2013 Street Triple's luggage solution.

I'm still undecided.

George B: I installed the 24 liter bank on my Street Triple yesterday. I have the optional rear seat grab rails, and the fit is perfect. With the grab rails, however, the rear attachment point might be problem May 15, 2014
A shopper asked: Will this bag hold a full-face helmet? Aug 31, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
PittsDriverWes: No - way too small for that. It would barely hold a turtle shell hat. May 27, 2013
Reply to PittsDriverWes Good answer? Yes (2) No (0)
RevZilla: Typically, when a helmet fits inside of a tail bag/case the product page states so. For instance on the Givi V46 Monokey Topcase product page, it states "The V46 case can hold 1-2 full face helmets (varies by helmet model)." Comparing the two bags dimensions I would have to say that a helmet will not fit into the Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bag. Sep 4, 2012

BigBlaze7OG: No, but it says it will hold a 3/4 helmet plus additional cargo Sep 6, 2012

A shopper asked: I'm wondering how this bag is attached to the back of the bike? because my bike has some bars on the side and the picture I saw the bag appeared to be tied around the tail. Jun 24, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Tim C: It comes with straps you can attach pretty much anywhere. They have plastic buckles which makes it really easy to take it on and off. You will have to leave the anchor straps attached to your bike for the most convenience. I did with my harley, and it was not a big deal. Jun 25, 2014

taylor b: It comes with straps that you may run under the rear fairing. Unsure if you could run them beneath the seat since i have the sidebags aa well Jun 25, 2014

A shopper asked: Can this bag be mounted on a cruiser luggage rack with no sissy bar? I have a Yamaha Stryker. Pic shows sport bike. Apr 6, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Richard B B: As with most of this stuff, where there's a will, there's a way. Mine is mounted on an Aprilia Shiver. With the grab rail set-up on the tail of my bike, it was a snap to mount. Looking at pics of your Stryker, it could pose a little challenge! It there is room (and flexibility) under the seat to snap the buckles underneath it, you may be in business. Then again, you don't want to put your seat hardware in too great a bind. Revzilla folks are great to work with, so if you order it you won't have any problem exchanging it if it doesn't work. So far as the product itself, I am very happy with it. It is first class material and workmanship all the way. Apr 7, 2014

A shopper asked: I bought this for a Buell Blast and have no idea how to put it on. I've checked all over the internet and everyone shows you how to put the easy front two straps on and then gloss over the impossible rear straps. Any pointers? Apr 13, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Judy F: I did not have much luck attaching this bag. When I got it to the point it seemed stable it was very cumbersome to remove. Which was problematic because I didn't want to take everything out and carry into the office in a separate bag.
Unfortunately I have gone back to using a backpack again.
The quick release seems a misnomer. Nothing quick about it from my perspective.

Steven M: I have a 2005 fz6 with under seat exhaust and the tail bag is fine. However I have the stock exhaust and there is a lot off plasiltic around the metal muffer designef to look like dual exhaust so my strap never touches the metal directly. Sep 28, 2015

A shopper asked: I do a lot of cruising around with my BMW K1300S and would like a tail bag that holds enough for a day trip. I carry my
tire plugging kit, air compressor, gloves, rain gear...ect. I also bungie my bike cover to the top of the bag. I was wondering
if either of the bags have eyelets to hook some bungies to. I also like the way the Cortech is mounted to the bike. Do you like one design over the other. I am also planning on getting a Rev'it Sand 2 jacket before riding season here in Michigan.
Will you be having another sale before spring?
Thanks for your help.
