ok replacement reason why i bought this is to reduce the wind noise coming from underneath the ear area on my star. i thought it would eliminate it, but apparently it didn't. the pads do give a tighter fit though, especially since stars run a size bigger. only gripe i have, probably more on the helmet, is the design for the pads are hollow around the ear to allow for speakers and air. that actually allows air to come up from underneath too and create noise. i'll be looking for some ear pads to fill in the hole and hopefully that will help getting rid of the noise. These cheek pads will only fit the 2010 and newer Star helmets. For replacement parts on past models, we recommend contacting Bell Powersports' customer services line directly at 800-456-2355.
