Great helmet but tight... I ordered this helmet based on the reviews and the style. It's a great looking helmet. I got the XL initially and the fit was super tight but I have a lot of long thick hair. I normally wear an XL in the Bell Mag9 3/4 & Shoei full face helmets. I contacted Revzilla customer service after consulting with them I ordered the 2XL. Still no dice, so I returned them both. Still a great helmet, on the hunt for another modular. April 2, 2014
Size - Noise - Weight - Sight - Build Order one size up if you wear a head wrap. It's noisier than my HJC open face. The hinge for the chin guard came apart while on the road, check all fasteners when you get it. The airflow will pull your head backwards without a shield if you open it while in motion. The drop down sun glass is not exactly clear, it has blurry spots in it. Not overall impressed (slightly disappointed, it is a Bell product) but it is comfortable and functional for the cost. Finally! I nailed it with this one. Been riding most my life, I'm 52. I just rode to Tucson, AZ from Fla two weeks ago. I wore a Nolan N4 modular because I trusted their reputation and was attracted to the features of the helmet. At the time I got it I was satisfied with the fit. After about three hours of riding, the pads felt like heavy weights pushing down on the top of my ears. It even actually amplified noise, especially when passing a semi, it was quieter without it on. The pressure was hard on my ears I had to stop later in the day more and more often to give my ears a break. By the time I got to Tucson, my ears ached for a few days, like someone tried to rip them off from the top. I put the bike in storage and flew home for a prior engagement. A few weeks later, I flew back to Tucson and picked up my bike. This time armed with the Bell Revolver EVO. What a difference, I got out on I-10, passing cars and trucks, it was sooo quiet, it fit so comfortable, I was actually shouting 'woohoo' inside my helmet! After I left Texas I was still in heaven. I got stuck in New Orleans for three nights due to that front that just came through there (This was almost Thanksgiving.) I got a break in the weather long enough to make it to Tallahassee (high of 50 degrees). When I left Tallahassee it was 37 degrees. My head stayed nice and toasty inside this helmet (victory vision tour bike). Slight fogging only when sitting still, crack the visor clears right up. I've got the progressive tinting shield, and love it, If I need more shade I drop the internal visor. The visor stays in place where you put it and has minimum vibration when open. I rode all day each home without discomfort and totally excited about how it added to my ride enjoyment. I have a closet full of helmets, some for cruising etc. I needed a good full face (modular) for long distance across the desert and in the cold. I nailed it with this one. The video review by Revzilla's Andrew really helped me decide on this one. Now I can look for a good blue tooth device for it. December 2, 2013
Decent value. I really do like this helmet. For the sale price, can't beat it. My only complaints: the tinted shield could have a better shape and a darker tint. Outside of this, it's one heck of a value. October 15, 2013
Great bang for the buck!! This helmet is just a bit smaller when fitting, so if you get to try it, go for it! The sun shade really does the job, quiet, comfortable, nice air flow, I really do recommend it!! September 14, 2013
Perfect! After a few years rockin my tired old lid, she was ready to be retired. Visor ratchets breaking, vents were falling off, stuck at night with a dark smoke visor trying to navigate the dimly lit NJ back roads after an all day ride... No bueno! Saw the Bell Revolver EVO (warp) released and knew I had to have it! Checked out the video giving detailed info and angles on the product page and knew I had to stop by Revzilla to try one on. Awesome shop, it's like a "toys r us" for motorcycle fiends! Helmet fits my noggin just right and man, this helmet is solid! Great airflow, perfect weight, modular, magnetic chin strap, flip down visor... Bells and whistles for sure! Awesome helmet, great quality design that's hard to find for a great price. Shipped to my house for free, packed well in just a few days. Not to mention, it matches my RC51 perfectly! Thanks Revzilla! August 22, 2013
a great buy i like the sun shade also i can open the front of the helmet when i stop to get a a breath of fresh air more quickly then taking it off and it matches my motorcycle perfect May 28, 2013
Great helmet, wish it fit I got this helmet after riding with my Bell Vortex for almost 3 years. I love the Vortex as a great bang-for-the-buck entry-level lid, and when the Revovler Evo came out, I knew I had to have one. Unfortunately, while the 2XL Vortex fits me perfectly, the 2XL Revolver Evo (Warp Graphic) was so small that I couldn't even get it on my head. I flipped the face up and could kind of wedge it on, but it pinched in a half dozen different places and I couldn't flip the face back down (Yes, I verified on the box and the inside of the helmet that it was 2XL; I thought it must have been the wrong size). I was disappointed to say the least, but I have a very large head, so I'm trying not to hold it against Bell. I installed a UClear bluetooth communicator in it, which went in quite easily and sounds great, but ended up having to give the helmet to my friend. Great helmet if it fits your cranium! May 28, 2013

A shopper asked: Can i buy with outside clear shield instead of standard smoke shield? I prefer outside clear shield. Aug 29, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jose R: The helmet does come w/ a clear shield, but it also comes w/ an integrated inner smoke shield that drops down w/ a press of a button/lever on your helmet. So you basically get the benefit of both, and gives you the option of using the drop down for when the sun is bright. It is a very good function which if constant make use during the day :). Craig B: The standard outside shield is clear. The photo youre looking at has an optional dark shield. The standard inner shield is a light smoke and I would reccommend a darker one. Aug 30, 2013

John K: Yes you can. I purchased outside clear with the interior drop shade.
Pretty cool.
The helmet is a bit noisy but a fantastic product.

A shopper asked: Looking at the reviews for the Revolver EVO Warp, there were a few that said it ran small. Anyone have any inputs if it's true to size or should a person order a size up? Mar 12, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Matthew A: I can say that I comfortably wear a 2XL in a Bell Vortex, but the 2XL Revolver Evo Warp was so small I couldn't get it on my head and close the chin-bar, so for at least the 2XL I would say it runs small. Mar 14, 2014

Kelly B: Defiantly runs small. Ordered a 2xl normally around a large or Xl. Depending on company. Still didn't fit. Wound up going to a different helmet. Mar 14, 2014

A S: Jose,

What size do you wear? I wear a 6 7/8 in a hat, so normally a small in helmets. Wondering if maybe it's only the larger sizes that are running small. Mar 23, 2014
Lowell S asked: I currently have the Bell Vortex Patriot Helmet and was wondering would this helmet fit the same or are they different in shape and fit? Mar 26, 2014

A shopper asked: I want to buy this helmet "Bell Revolver EVO Warp Helmet" and also want to get the "Bell Transitions SolFX Photochromic Face Shield" but I'm not sure they will work together. It has the click release feature that in the face shield description it says it needs, but isn't listed in the models of helmets that comply. can you please confirm or deny the ability to use these together? thanks! DOUGLAS Z: I'm truly unsure but I did purchase this same helmet and I love the sun Visor that's included inside the helmet with a simple push and visor is in place. I also purchased the Bluetooth SMH10 and it Fit Great. I used the self Adhesive on the device and it works great for Sound from Pandora and Phone calls. Sorry don't have the answer on your Question but Just some Knowledge on the others. You'll love the helmet Bell did a Super Job on ventilation also. Check the helmet out 1st then Maybe add later. Tony S: It fits, and the transition lens works. But just as regular glasses with that effect, it is a very light tint, not worth the $ Oct 28, 2013

A shopper asked: didn't see any ratings mentioned Jan 16, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
flatline: The Bell Revolver Evo is only DOT rated. I don't believe that a modular helmet CAN be Snell certified; I've certainly never seen one, from any manufacturer. May 28, 2013

A shopper asked: I'm looking to buy a new helmet, and the Bell Revolver has caught my eye. I'm also looking at getting the duel bluetooth system for my friend and I (who also has a Bell Revolver). Will the Sena SMH10 fit this helmet? Apr 6, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: Yes, the Bell Revolver Evo Warp helmet will accept the Sena Bluetooth communicators (using the supplied adhesive mount) and has built in speaker cutouts to accept the speakers. Apr 12, 2013

A shopper asked: What is the weight of the Bell EVO Revolver Helmet? Mar 20, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The Bell Revolver EVO Warp Helmet weighs in at 3 lbs. 15-3/4 oz, or 1808 grams. However, weight is not the most important factor when it comes to helmet comfort. A lot more weight (heh) should be given to head shape and riding style than pure poundage.
