Bell Pit Boss Flames Helmet
Great helmet but.....
I ordered this helmet cause I didn't want a full face helmet. The helmet was awesome but it made me look like I had a mushroom head. I returned it with ZERO hassle and received a full return on my money!

This helmet looks great, very comfortable fit and doesn't shift at all! I'm very happy with it!!!

Large - maybe not
I ordered a large/2XL, there is a unique sizing band that allows one to turn a knob and adjust sizing, very ingenious. This gives a scale of sizing up to 2XL.
I opened mine all the way and it did not fit my big head. Then I cranked it down to its lowest setting, presumably a Large. My wife was able to wear it comfortably. The only problem, she's a small in other helmets.
So, this is a great helmet with a wide range of possibilities.
It's just burns me that my wife will get to wear it since it doesn't fit me. Now I'm out 129 bucks!
Still I say buy it, the pull down visor is great along with the removable ear warmers and snap back strap.

This helmet is ultra-light, built with advanced technology, very comfortable, DOT approved, and made by Bell. Buy it.
The fit of the Bell Pit Boss helmet is somewhat unique, very secure, and stays put with no lifting at speed. The TriMatrix construction is super strong and light weight. I wear prescription glasses and the visor fit over them, no problem. The visor attachment needs a little improvement - my only negative point; but if you open and close the drop down visor carefully, it works fine. The open face gives plenty of air flow even with the zip out liner in place. I ride on the Big Island of Hawaii where it is warm and no so warm, depending on elevation; and do not find the helmet to be too warm. My ride is a Honda Shadow Aero, and I sit behind a windshield. The Pit Boss Helmet is perfect for cruising in warm or hot weather. The Bell 500 Classic saved my life over 40 years ago so I always wear a helmet, and I believe Bell is the best!

Could have used a 2XL
I like the helmet but didn't get the fit I was hoping for.
My head is slightly more elongated so I went with the XL/2XL combo size as recommended. Why they don't offer a true 2XL makes no sense to me. I gave the helmet a chance to stretch and adjust a little, again as suggested, but it's just too snug front to back. I guess my son will be enjoying a nice new helmet.

comfortable, nice features
Took a couple of rides to get the feel for this helmet. After a three day trip, I'm sold. This product is as advertised. Once adjusted properly, forgot that it was there. Relatively light weight, tension strap (again, once adjusted properly) felt good, pull-down visor is nice. Size is true to manufacturer's chart. Just wish it had some kind of venting system and pads were removable/washable. For the price, can't beat it. / First time customer to Revzilla - will definitely be back!

the adjustment keeps coming apart when ever i put it in my bags?
Not a bad helmet, just not engineered very well for adjustments

My first order was a size medium. Apparently, I'm in between sizes & then ordered a large - much better fit. I think the rear adjustment is brilliant. It's almost like having a custom fit helmet. (Thankfully, my wife finds the medium just fine - no need to return it!)
Oddly enough, I found the noise level decent. No more resonance in a full-face lid. Still, a pair of decent earplugs are a decent add-on for a long day in the saddle.
The flip-down visor is hit/miss. The medium helmet put it square on my face - perfect. The large, however, sits slightly askew on my head so the visor hits the side of my nose - weird. (maybe my head is shaped a little weird - who knows...)
Overall - please with it & would definitely recommend it; especially for the price.
