Angela H: Bell's reputation as well as the overall look and functionality of the helmet.Apr 14, 2014
KEN J: for the easy way the sena 10 blue tooth can be added on, and my wife thought the guy in the utube videos was cute :)Apr 13, 2014
Luis V: Had the helmet for a while fits well, but notice the face visor tends to fall a notch when full up and riding. Over all a good helmet.Apr 5, 2014
Gregory R: Since I no longer ride sport bikes I wanted a helmet that was a little more open while riding during the hot summer days. Also the fact that this helmet is made for the sena smh10 made it a no brainer for me.Apr 4, 2014
George C: I have one and find it to be the best fitting so I am purchasing one for my spouse.Mar 30, 2014
Mahlon H: Wife and I each ride. Needed new helmets. Wanted to integrate comms this time. Liked this combo. A bit pricey so I hope it fulfills our expectations.Mar 28, 2014
Robert M: I liked the looks, the flip down sun visor, integrated bluetooth and the video presentation.Mar 20, 2014
W I: We were in the market for new helmets. Bell Helmets used to be quality helmets way back when. So we took a chance on their past reputation and purchase these (2) helmets. We have other helmets with the Sena Smh10's on them. Had to purchasing the special Sena boom mic made specially for this helmet. That was an additional $40 per helmet. The Sena smh10 was the main reason for us even looking at the Bell Helmet. The combination of Sena and Bell made sense.Mar 16, 2014
herman k: like the way it looks and fitsMar 15, 2014
Charles L: Cooler to use in summer, reviews were positive, price was right and reputation of Bell.Mar 6, 2014
John S: Great reviews, Going to also but sena 10Mar 1, 2014
tom E: First reason was the molded design that made the Sena headset part of the helmet rather than a bolt on afterthought. Felt the drop down sun shield would be important as we ride in shady wooded areas that quickly turn into open sunny stretches.Feb 27, 2014
glenn b: After much research we decided on Bell Sena because of the Blue-tooth capability, Bell name, and design features of the helmet. These helmets will be used for long distance traveling.Feb 21, 2014
Donnie L: For its compatibility with the sena and for its versatility of shielded or unshielded visor of visorless I intend on wearing a face mask and goggles to make a comfortable off-roader with bluetooth music!Feb 18, 2014
C O: The sena integration and the ability to have the peak on or off as well as the face shield on or off are all really nice features. And the internal sunshade actually covers my eyes really well so I am very pleased with that.Feb 12, 2014
Ronald Y: Integrated mounting for Sena headsets. Reputation of Bell Helmets.Feb 12, 2014
james t: It's a nice looking helmet and comfortable at a good price.Feb 10, 2014
John V: Like the integration of the sena blu toothJan 31, 2014
Koda S: I got this for the integration with my Sena Bluetooth communications set. The recessed fit for the Sena unit is a great design feature.Jan 17, 2014
marcus c: HELMET IS GREAT, IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE HELMET I HAVE WORN.Jan 9, 2014
Greg B: Looks like a great open face helmet for city riding.Dec 30, 2013
Wendel M: Bell seems to have a very good product. Just hope they continue to produce good quality. So far I am very satisfied with them.Nov 28, 2013
Diane B: Husband and I ignorantly bought helmets for round heads. I had serious headaches after 10 minutes of riding and switched to this helmet. I love the integrated communications system and this fits me like a glove! No more headaches and no need to adjust the helmet with 5 hour rides! Now husband is constantly needing to "push" on his helmet to relieve pressure. This is his Christmas gift!!! :)Nov 24, 2013
JOHN H: PREFER OPEN FACE - SUN VISOR NEAT - COMPATABLE WITH SENA SMH-10 BELL MAGNov 19, 2013
Nathan H: I'm looking for an open face helmet that has a peak/visor for additional glare avoidance when riding into sunlight. The only other helmet like this I found was an Arai and did not want to spend 3x as much for it. I'm also interested in using the Sena intercom with this helmet although that is not the main reason for the purchase.Nov 15, 2013
Evelyn H: I chose this for the style and features, and purchased from Revzilla because I've done so from this merchant satisfactorily in the past. The price was comparable to other sellers, so the companies reputation made the difference.Nov 3, 2013
Randy P: Looking for an open face Helmet, I liked some of the reviews, and the way it looks, I also like the ability to take off the visor, and face shield.Oct 22, 2013
Robert C: Integrated helmet and Sena Bluetooth unit.Oct 22, 2013
Iain M: Bacause it fits the Sena SMH10. I look forward to receiving the Helmet.Sep 26, 2013
Mark B: The RevZilla review was very helpful. All of the key features were discussed and it gave me confidence in the product. The sizing chart took some of the mystery out of ordering online. Mostly, however, the integration with the Sena headset put this item over the top as far as features.Sep 19, 2013
Jacques C: reading all the positive reveiws sold me on it.Sep 9, 2013
Bruce E:Hi Mike, I looked at the configuration of the 20S and to be honest it doesn't look like it would fit 100%. Th Bell Mag 9 helmet was made to fit the Sena SHM10 which is what I have. Even at that when ordering you have to specify that you want the SMH10 designed for the Bell Mag9 as the first one I got didn't fit and I had to exchange it.Feb 7, 2014
Brad G:You will have to contact bell to be 100% sure.However.The sena smh10's I used to have would not.If you read the fine print.[I Didn't] You will at the very least need the bell sena adapters. We still use this helmet. But use the Harley boom audio headsets.I didn't want to send the helmets back.So I ground the side piece out a bit for the Harley headset.
With the adapters they might.Or you could just purchase the Bell Sena headsets which is what this helmet is built for.Feb 8, 2014
Shel S:Call Sena for that answer. However, I have switched to a Gmax helmet. Much quieter, better visor, adjustable sun shade, plus it has a strobe on the back. The external Sena mount works very nicely.Feb 7, 2014
Charles C:The Bell Mag-9 Sena Helmet came with a DOT sticker on it. I have searched the interior of the helmet for additional information but there is nothing to indicate that it is Snell rated, only DOT. The Bell website also lists this helmet as DOT Certified with no mention of Snell rating.Dec 23, 2013
A shopper asked:I have a new 2014 Harley with their hard wired comm set. How difficult is it to attach to this Bell Mag 9 ? I have tried the Bell Mag 9 and it is comfortable, but am concerned if I am a non Sena user. Thanks.Jan 29, 2014
Dave G:Don't listen to those who say not to buy this helmet unless you are using the Sena bluetooth prods. I had absolutely no problems attaching the Harley Premium headset to this helmet. In fact, the Sena capability made the installation just a bit easier- there is a pull out section of foam right under the left cheek pad that makes it eas to clamp the Harley headset to the helmet. The cheek pads have speaker pockets and the wires tuck neatly under the rubber moulding that runs around the outer perimiter. Easy 10 minutes or less to set the whole thing up. So go ahead and get this helmet it works with the HD headset just fine.Apr 19, 2014
David L:Revzilla asked me to help with your question; I have this helmet and love it but I don't use a blue tooth so I can't answer. I will say that Rev will take it back if it doesn't work with your device. Their service is 100% the best. Good luck and happy riding! David Lester, Athens, Ga.Feb 3, 2014
Janie H:The Sena units will work on all 3/4 and full helmets with the standard bracket that is included in the package. They make a separate bracket for the Bell Mag 9 Sena helmet. I like it much better. The unit, instead of hanging on the outside the helmet is now on a 1/4" indented spot in the side of the helmet and is much more secure. Also the ear speakers are in custom made secure pockets in the liner of the helmet instead of being Velcro attached inside a regular helmet. This is also more comfortable and they never come loose when you remove the helmet. I hope this answers your question. JanieJan 27, 2014
