Bell Drifter DLX Helmet - Solid
great for around town. as soon as you get some speed the lip of the helmet catches the wind and wants to lift off. military style does not make for even decent aerodynamics.

Very comfortable and stylish. It's not super low on the head but doesn't sit too tall either. The adjustment feature is really good. I haven't had the opportunity to wear it for an extended period of time but I believe it will be fine. This is my second Bell helmet. Great helmets for the price!

Good Helmet at a good price
First half helmet I've owned. I've been using it for the past few months and it has been working very well. Its fits securely and with the cinch down system in the back it stays snug without the chin strap choking me.
I like the style and comfort as well. Living in Vegas, it gets cold in the winter. With this helmet all I have to do is wear my scarf and everything is A'OK. The parts of the head the helmet covers stay warm and comfortable.
The few draw-backs are that the finish chips, scratches, and otherwise marks up very easily. I've had the helmet fall off my saddle and to the ground, less than a few feet drop, and the gloss black finish chips off every time without fail. This isn't huge to me as I like the worn in look of a scratched helmet, but it might be a turn off to others.

Love this helmet
I originally rode with a full face helmet wanting the most protection I could get from a helmet. I prefer feeling the wind and also like not having the limited visibility that a full face gives you. This helmet fits perfectly with the speed dial feature and gives me the wind that I was wanting. The easy snap on/off ear pieces are a huge plus as well. Definitely helps keep the ears warm. For the price, you can not go wrong with this helmet. A Triumph of a choice.

Got the matte black to match my Thunderbird Storm. nice look and fit to this helmet. Even though it's open face and presumably allows sufficient airflow, I'd have liked a top-side air vent--but it's fine. Best feature: the speed dial. It works perfectly--you can set it as tight as you need with no uneven pressure or hot-spots, and it works perfectly to keep it from catching wind and lifting up on highway speeds, really helps reduce neck fatigue. It's a tiny bit big, a bit of mushroom-head; and removable liner woulda been nice, but you don't really expect that at this price point. Other than that, just a really good quality, nice-looking helmet--very good value for the price.

Best helmet I've put on my head.
This helmet was everything I was looking for. It's comfortable and stylish with a nice layer of padding inside. The only down side to this helmet is that it gets oil marks from your fingers very easily (that's what I've notice with mine which is the matte black). But overall it is an amazing helmet. Perfect tight fit to my head without the straps choking me.

I like how it fits!
The adjustable head band lets me dial it to just the right fit. The helmit is very comfortable. No complaints with this product.

Great fitting helmet, most half helmets I've tried have the inherent problem of lifting off my head unless I strap it down to the point of it bruising my neck. This one doesn't have that problem due to Bells rear ratcheting system. It keeps it comfortably on your head and it's simple to adjust even with a gloved hand. The only negative I can say about this helmet is just how massive it is. It really doesn't help the bobble headed look and I had several buddies comment on how "phallic" it made my head look. But if you're not worried about looks and just want a super comfortable half shell the Bell Drifter is the way to go.
