2nd Helmet / Great Purchase! I have always had a helmet that came with the bike I purchased. It was a regular black shiny dot approved helmet that was a little big and had the problem of lifting at higher speeds. The drifter is awesome in comparison. I liked the style when I saw the helmet and people have complimented me on it. The fit is next to perfect on my head. The removable ear pieces are very comfortable and are used for colder days. They don't completely seal of your ears to the cold but they do seem to help. Most days they are kept in the saddle bags. The only reason that I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is because of the adjuster that goes on back. I wish it had the ability to be removed and replaced. I find myself wondering what the helmet would fit like without the ratcheting piece in the back. It is a "tiny" bit uncomfortable but it might just be that I have not gotten used to it yet. On the flip side the ratcheting piece does work very well and when tightened up I almost forget to put the strap around the bottom because it feels so secure. I also like that you can snap the loose end of the chin strap to the side so there is no loose end flapping around in the wind. All in all for the price this helmet is great I would give it a 5 out of 5 if I was not so picky...I'm sure other's would. I researched a lot of helmets and I am glad I decided on this one. My old helmet will be finding its way to the storage bin in the garage. April 9, 2014
Super cool helmet This helmet is great. The fit system is awesome. It really helps with the half-helmet wind effect. Stays secured to your dome while remaining very comfortable. The style is awesome as well! December 2, 2013
Disappointed... Here's why I'm disappointed. This is only the second helmet I've purchased in my life, so I took the time and studied and pondered over several helmets. Which by the way I love your website for all the helpful you tube videos and that's one of the reasons I would continue to shop w you again. My complaint is against the manufacture. When I took it out of the box I noticed that it looked liked someone had dropped it because of the scuff on the top. I needed the helmet because the next week I had my motorcycle safety classes began and I couldn't be w out one. So I convinced myself to get over the scuff because I'm sure someday ill scuff it myself and to just get over it. But during the riding class this is what upset me. Having only the helmet on for less than a hour the internal speed dial that adjusts the helmet to your head literally pulled itself out of the foam protective padding. So having the helmet now w two defective parts to the helmet makes me upset. I wouldn't normally complain but since your review came up on my email I thought this might be a good opportunity. I love the gloves and scarf that I bought. Good quality and well made. I figured that's what I get for only spending $100 on a helmet. If I had the box I would consider sending it back for a replacement. Maybe someone who reads this will help me w this considering I have only worn the helmet for the one day of my class. Thanks for listening. November 11, 2013
Great style! I got some military style glasses to go with it. It looks sweet! September 16, 2013
Looks good, fits good and it's reasonably priced. I'm pleased! Looks good, fits good and it's reasonably priced. I'm pleased! September 9, 2013
Great looking helmet. Doesn't slide back on head easily. The helmet is slightly heavy, but is built well. I love the style and really have no complaints. The rear adjuster works great and stays put unless your going over 80. Even then if its tight enough it doesn't move much. The helmet is a typical large DOT helmet but it looks great. Like all DOT helmets it looks strange when looking at ones self in the mirror but looks great when you see someone else wear it. August 27, 2013
Excellent helmet The fact that you can dial in the fit makes this helmet the most comfortable ever worn. August 7, 2013
perfect highway helmet I really like this helmet, its oval design helped a lot with air flow resistance. After riding for 3 hours I had almost no neck pain. I like the design except for the single star I would of liked it more if there was one on each side. My favorite of all the features is the adjuster, that is fantastic I was able to wear the strap lose and tighten the head band and the helmet didn't even bounce enough to notice. Freaking loved it. A shopper asked: How much adjustment does the Speed Dial allow for? Aug 14, 2013

Narinder D: A really nice looming helmet, the lining on inside could of been padded a lot better as it feels stiff on head compared to other helmets. If your size is a medium then I would order 1 size bigger, I use a small size but this was way too small for me so I use it for my dough yer now and she loves it. The dial on the back gives you about 1.5 inches of flex. But other then not feeling cushioned in lining the helmet looks great. Aug 15, 2013

SUBASH L: It allows for tightening and loosening the helmet to the back of your head which makes it feel much more snug and secure. With other helmets the strap alone is not sufficient, especially at higher speeds and in windy conditions. The Speed Dial works well. More helmets should have it. Well done Bell! Aug 15, 2013

John P: i think it allows for a lot. The way it is designed a little adjustment on the dial goes a long way. I love this helmet. Very Comfortable and way more stable than any other open face helmet i've tried. The dial allows it to not lift up or push back on your head at high speeds. Aug 15, 2013

Yi-Hsing C: You can cinch the dial down so that its tight enough that it doesn't move around on your head. I've got the size small, and cinching down the speed dial makes the helmet tight enough that it doesn't move around on my head, swinging my head around wont move the helmet. Aug 15, 2013
