Barkbusters Storm Handguard Kit For 7/8" Handlebars
Maximum wind and rain protection for street and adventure-touring bikes!
Storm handguards have an aerodynamic design and a larger profile that wraps around the hands to offer excellent wind and weather protection. The wide profile is great for street riding and open trails. Storm Full-Wrap Backbone with two mounting points, this is the strongest backbone available, and is recommended for dual-sport and adventure touring bikes.
Barkbusters handguards were first manufactured in 1984 and now have over 28 years of motorcycle industry experience and riding enthusiasm. That history means Barkbusters has what it takes to produce the finest handguards available on the market today. In the unlikely event that you break a part of the handguard, every piece is replaceable.
Top Notch Handguards!
I replaced my single point stock hand guards on my Suzuki DR650 with these Barkbustbuster Storms. The perfect fix and upgrade. Not only are they really well designed and made, but offer excellent wind and rain protection. The install was quite simple and well instructed. They should do well in an impact by their construction. I think they look even better than the stockers did. Love 'em!

Easy install, quality product.
Installed these on my beater KLR that I ride at the Oregon place. Ride all the local back roads/logging roads so the occasional tip over does occur....which hasn't fazed the Barkbusters in the least. The Barkbusters were a very quick and easy install. Quality product. Great wind/rain protection and pretty toasty with heated grips. Kinda pricey but have used cheaper brands with less than ideal outcomes.

Has served very good during two 4hour long trips and are worth the money, and look great on the bike.

Timothy M: My son has them on his KLR and they are nice.Dec 7, 2014
Andy M: I chose these because they were said to fit my bike, 2007 dl1000. These would never fit my bike without major modification. These should not be listed as a universal part!Sep 20, 2014
bill k: in the last year I have broken one clutch lever and bent another. I have also broken the left mirror mount on my klr which is the headlight/ turn signal module as well. that was a spendy fix. I don't know if the barkbusters will help with the mirror but it can't hurt. as I get more into adventure riding I can see that good hand guards are essential.Sep 3, 2014
K I: I chose the Barkbuster Storm Handguards after doing quite a bit of research online. I wanted maximum coverage and protection from a high-quality supplier and Barkbusters definitely had the reputation. I gave some serious thought to changing out the handlebars to 1", but decided the stock bar would probably work for the kind of stuff I'm planning.Jun 9, 2014
Andy M:Not sure. I got them for a 2007 dl 1000 suzuki, they didn't fit, and I had to return them. Bark busters makes a model specific for my bike, it was $20 more than this model. The difference was a specific piece that would allow mounting around my clutch and brake controls. I couldn't have mounted them otherwise, so the extra $ was necessary. I don't know if that helped, good luck!Mar 2, 2015
Brent A:It should fit as long as your handle bars are 7/8 of an inch. You may have to slightly adjust the position of your front brake reservoir or other components. You may also need longer screws for the bar ends if you want to keep the stock bar end weights. Mar 1, 2015
A shopper asked:I am looking for hand guards for a Honda CRF250L. I thought that the Barkbusters would fit without modification but am not sure. Can you advise me as to which hand guards would go on this bike without having to mod them? Thanks.Nov 12, 2014
Brian S asked:Will this product fit a 2005 Suzuki V-strom 1000 with Pro Taper 7/8" bars? My 2 concerns are... 1) Will they fit around the clutch fluid housing units on both sides? 2) Will this kit include the bar end weights for proper installation as the previous owner of my bike did not reinstall them after he swapped the factory bars out.May 12, 2014
