Arai Signet-Q Zero Helmet

The Arai Signet-Q (the long-oval shaped cousin to the RX-Q) is the product of a racing lineage going back to the late 1970’s. Since Arai’s inception, their RX Line of helmets has set an international standard for rider comfort and safety. The Signet-Q is perfection incarnate, blending modern materials and safety features with decades of knowledge and racing heritage. The result are features like an eyeport designed to maximize peripheral vision, an aerodynamically tuned outer shell and a beautifully crafted and ultra comfortable liner. All these features, combined with industry-leading protection, provide riders with an unmatched level of safety and comfort.

A longer shell shape on the Arai Signet-Q Helmet gives 5mm more space front to back allowing for a larger number of heads to fit comfortably. The shape of the Arai Signet-Q Helmet releases forehead pressures and eliminate hot spots for a more comfortable fit every time.  This shape works best for riders with a long oval headshape.

Features:

  • Both the top vent set and side exhaust cowls are direct carryovers from the RX-Q
  • Brow vent ducting redirects to flow air across the temples
  • DDL-4 exhaust vent to the 10mm wider eye port (5mm on each side)
  • Long Oval Fit
  • SAI "MAX-Vision Brow Vent" shield
  • Clear Pinlock Max-Vision Brow Vent Pinlock lens included
  • Elongated shell adds 5mm from front to back
  • Long-Oval shape helps prevent “Hot-Spot”
  • Multi-Density Single piece EPS liner
  • Removable, replaceable, washable interior
  • Dry-Cool Surface material for rapid displacement of heat and moisture away from your head and into the ventilation airflow for added comfort while riding and a quick dry between rides
  • 5mm peel-away temple pads adds another level of customization, giving the helmet interior a little extra width when needed
  • Enhanced for customizable micro fitment interior without the need to purchase extra interior components
  • New FCS (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design
  • Innovative and exclusive spring support adds just the right amount of pressure when needed while being worn
  • Meets or exceeds Snell and D.O.T. standards

Aria helmets are worth the money
This is the fifth Arai helmet that I have purchased in 20 years. The key reason for purchasing the helmet is that Arai makes many shapes and you can find one that fits without creating pressure spots on the forehead or temples. Plenty of venting so there is good airflow while moving and with that much experience with Aria helmets visibility is not an issue. The Pinlock visor is a big plus.

Excellent helmet
Excellent helmet overall, the paint, fit and finish are all top notch. I've been wearing neutral oval helmets my whole life which left me with two options: snug fit with hotspots and a guaranteed headache or, a helmet that was unsafe due to being loose. I never perceived my head to be a "long oval" until I tried the signet-q on a whim. The helmet fits perfect and, although a bit tight at first, after 5 or 6 hrs of riding it's broken in and extremely comfortable.

My only minor gripe is that the d ring strap is really short and can be a bit of a struggle to use with gloves on.

Best helmet I have ever bought
I have worked my way up the helmet line in my time. From HJC, Bell, Shoei, Scorpion, Icon and now an Arai.
This helmet is by that the best helmet I have ever had.
It is light weight, very comfortable and the air flow is amazing. I used to sweat a lot in my helmet, regardless of I had the shield open or not. I do not have this problem with this helmet.
The wind noise is very quiet. Unlike my shoei that when I open my shield it whistled, this does not.
You can tell it is a quality helmet. and I will buy it again!

Outstanding Helmet
If you have a long oval shaped noggin, then the Arai Signet-Q is probably a great choice for you. It was immediately comfortably with no hotspots even though it is very snug by standards of previous helmets that I’ve owned. I’ve tried Arai helmets in the past and I always had a problem with the chin guard touching my chin which I’ve always felt was very distracting (I couldn’t own them), but the Signet-SQ gives me a little gap. Ventilation is nothing short of outstanding; absolutely the best venting of any helmet that I have ever owned. Of course with the venting scoops there is some extra noise, so ear plugs will have to be used for long highway sections. Visibility is essentially unobstructed and the quality of the visor is nearly perfect. The weight is very low combined with great aerodynamics which seems to all but eliminate head buffeting which allows for a comfortable all-day ride. The overall fit, finish, and quality are absolutely outstanding. I have the Zero graphic which is much more attractive in person than in the pictures with lots of metal flake throughout including the white. It’s simply the best helmet that I have ever owned.

Arai the astute option
I have worn other competitive brand helmets for tens of thousands of miles each but forgot how well the long oval Arai fits my head. The multi-shape shell options clearly set Arai apart. A better fit offers more comfort, quieter ride, and a happy rider. The peripheral vision is the best I have seen. The capability to change the cheek pad thickness is nice but the stock ones were great. This is minor but I thought the overhead vents could flow a touch more. Otherwise, this helmet fits like a custom leather driving glove that I barely notice it while worn riding. I highly recommend an Arai if it fits your budget. Great product Arai!

First helmet. Couldn't be more pleased.
I've tried on several helmets and used a class "loaner" for about 12 hours of Basic Motorcycle Riders course. It left an indentation in my forehead and a painful experience for the last hour.

The instructor suggested Arai, and let me try on his Signet Q. I bought one on line and have used it for the last month. It's snug (XL) but I forget that it's on. A great fitting helmet.

Quite an upgrade
I had an 8 year old HJC modular and was a little leary of switching to full face. After talking to one of the riders at Revzilla I decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Noise way down, really comfortable and I love the colors. The extra space is an added bonus. Love this helmet so far and would recommend checking out ARAI if you're in the market.

cleaning up old helmets and found both of the Arais that I have are over ten years old. I am going back to full face helmets or 3/4 helmets with full face shields (HJC) when riding, even on the Harleys

I bought two in fact, matching. Looks really sharp when we are touring on my Goldwing. Fits great. Less wind noise than my old helmet. Love it

Love this helmet! Chose it because it fits my head shape.
Richard M on Sep 17, 2015
After talking to one of the riders at Revzilla I decided to go with the Signet because of the extra space since my previous helmets always seem to pinch my forehead after a short time. I also wanted a comfortable helmet and all the reviews pointed to this helmet. Looking forward to trying it out.
J O on Jul 10, 2015
After trying many different helmets, the Signet-Q was the best fit. My cranium is worth the price for good comfort and excellent protection. This model particularly for the colour and styling of the graphics.
