AltRider Triumph Tiger 800XC Luggage Rack

The AltRider Luggage Rack for the Triumph Tiger 800 is a must-have part, whether you ride on or off. Manufactured in the USA from 3/16 inch (4.75mm) thick anodized aluminum, it incorporates side flanges for extra strength and rigidity. The strategic cut-outs provide places to lash down your load with anything from straps to bungee cords to tie downs. AltRider ensured that every hole allows any hook to pass completely through the luggage rack for a secure attachment. All cut-outs feature a premium CNC routered edge to provide a smooth and a clean finish.

If you are interested in using a top case, the AltRider Luggage Rack interfaces with the Givi Monokey System, allowing attachment with a mount kit – no need for the additional cost of an adapter plate. The AltRider Givi Monokey Luggage Rack Topcase Mounting Kit is sold separately and allows Givi Monokey topcases to mount to the rack. The rack also provides an interface with the Rotopax Fule Pack system, so you can easily bring extra gas, water or even tools.

Already have the Triumph OEM soft tail bag? No problem, the AltRider luggage rack provides cut-outs that make attachment easy, and scoot the placement further back so there’s room for a pillion.

The OEM Triumph plastic tail cover's bolt openings are very tight to threaded boss on the grab handle. This potentially makes installation difficult as well as making cross threading possible. AltRider suggests opening the front two holes by 2mm towards the center of the bike and opening the two rear holes 1-2 mm towards the center of the bike, if holes do not initially line up.

Nice Rack! The fit and finish on the rack is outstanding. With the top case removed this thing is huge though. It looks like I have a kitchen table mounted on the back. May 14, 2013

With a bag or package on it is rock solid. Pros: Simplicity of install Rack is SOLID but light. Plenty of tie down points Con: The AltRider Luggage Rack looks huge on the bike when first installed. With a bag on it you cannot notice it all. After a week or so the size seems big, but not disproportionate. January 21, 2013

Bomb Proof!!! I have this on the back of a Triumph Tiger 800xc. I have used a 46L GIVI Trekker, and 1.75g RotoPax both worked flawlessly. It looks like it was meant to be on the bike. It has plenty of locations to strap something down if not using a hard case and Its super strong. I actually think that I could pick the bike off the ground using only the rack. Highly recommended!!! Excellent mount for Givi's E55 topcase. I purchased this to mount the Givi E55 case on my Triumph Tiger 800. The OEM case wasn't available at the time, but knowing what I do now I would have made the same decision. Huge thanks to Drew at Revzilla, who called both Givi and Altrider to learn the installation details of both products. The luggage rack installs in about 15 minutes without needing to drill any new holes. The Givi topcase mounting kit is also required, and takes another 10 minutes or so to attach. The mount is attached to the frame and is rock solid, even with the large E55 attached. So far I'm very happy with this setup. May 21, 2012
