AltRider BMW R1200GS Potentiometer Guard
Made from 3.175 mm anodized aluminum, the potentiometer guard has three mounting positions to anchor it in place. The unique third (bottom) mounting position creates a firm hold on the throttle body, which means the guard won’t ever shift or snap off.
The AltRider Potentiometer Guard provides strong protection, sleek profile and no interference with leg position.

Very well designed, perfect fit. Does exactly what it needs to do and looks good as well.
Being in OZ the freight charges were quite high for a small item such as this but otherwise very happy

Protects the potentiometer from accident or boot damage.
Must need, if you break it or damage it (potentiometer), its gonna be a long push home.

I bought this because of the 3 mounting points vs the competitors two. The fit was very good, it is very solid, and I think that it provides superior protection for the TPS. I rated it lower in the comfort because I do occasionally hit my shin on the guard, but if it was any smaller it would not adequately protect the TPS.

Alt Rider did a very nice job machining this piece. It does very well job of proctecting the potentiometer. And it looks great on the bike.
Only complaint I have is that it does get in the way when i'm shifting gears. My chin does bump it.
