Alpinestars Kerry Riding Women's Jeans
OK for Curvy Ladies Who Like Unflattering Pants
With these, form follows function. I'm 5'9", 140 lbs and normally wear a 28 in Levi's jeans. I ordered a 28 in these and they fit moderately well (considering these are motorcycling jeans and not stylish everyday jeans). There was some slight gapping in the back, so I would likely wear a belt, but the mid-rise made it so that a tighter fit with a belt would be possible. The hip pads are pretty thin (Like push-up bra padding almost) and I can't imagine them really saving you from much if you go down. There's Kevlar in the butt, and the knee pads are flexible which is nice. The pant is very wide at the knee due to the pad, and wide down through the ankle. They make me look like I have tree-trunk legs. It is my belief that you can be safe and stylish at the same time, so I will be returning these and continue my hunt for a moto-jean that fits my curves, aesthetics, and riding needs.

Really good fit... But
I wished the knees were a little higher up. They are so long. Even when I sit on my bike, they just barely reach the top of my knee. But otherwise perfect for what I was looking for. If your curvy... Then these are for you. You may need a belt for the waste.

Good Fit, Fair Protection
At 5 ft 10 inches tall, finding jeans that fit my long legs has always been an issue. I ordered a size 14 and found the cut and styling to be very nice for a women's jean, with an inseam that was just long enough for me. The jeans flatter my hips and rear without making that area look bigger. The waist was a good fit as well: I don't have an hourglass figure with a tiny waist (definitely not Beyonce here).
The two areas I wish were better were the thickness of the denim, and the protection. The denim is rather thin for a jean (even with the kevlar) and the hip and knee pads are basic pads, not as protective as I wanted.
As a comparison, I purchased a pair of men's Klim jeans in size 34 tall, and found much thicker denim with much better protective inserts, yet the fit (waist was too small for me) was definitely for guys.
If I had my dream riding jean, I'd keep the Kerry cut and styling with the Klim protection and thicker fabric.

Cut just right for a woman
I was not able to give these the highest marks simply because we have not spent a lot of time on our bike this spring. Too much rain. But my wife does feel that the fit and comfort is just what she was hoping for.

Great looking riding jeans!
This is my first paid of riding jeans and when ordering them I thought I was rolling the dice. In general, jeans tend to be hard to find the right fit for me and I think for most women, I was shocked when they arrived and fit right out of the box. They fit and look like regular jeans, with some added knee protection, looks like I'm ready to ride!
I am 5'9" weigh 150 and wear a size 29 in regular jeans and the 8 fit me just right. This was my first piece of Alpinestars gear and I must say I am very happy with these jeans. I wore them on my bike for a unseasonably warm late winter day in New England and was perfectly comfortable. They flow far more air than my touring pants. I love that the knee armor is flexible and forms to my knee as I ride. It is comfortable for walking around in and for riding. The only complaint, if you can call it that, I have is that the jeans don't quite fit over my new Alpinestars SMX-5 Stella boots, the boots have a fairly wide calf opening and thick armor on the shin which is the main issue with the jeans not fitting over them. That being said, for my ride I tucked the jeans inside the boots, which seemed fine at first but after a couple of hours, the jeans were riding up a bit and bunching under my knees and in the hip area. Not really an issue if you can stand up and adjust if it gets uncomfortable. I love that these jeans are protective yet look like normal jeans. I am a fairly new rider and have only worn fully armored touring gear, so the first few minutes in these jeans on my bike I felt a bit more exposed. Then when we stopped during the ride at a cafe I felt totally comfortable walking around in them, taking the look from fully decked out and loud to much cooler.
I am continually disappointed when searching for riding gear because it tends to be slightly less protective than an equivalent men's gear and these jeans are no different. The kevlar lining is only in knee and butt area, not throughout the pants. The pants come with removable hip protection, which are very small and thin pads that velcro in at the hips, seems like it wouldn't protect much but maybe spread the bruising out if you went down.
Overall, these jeans are stylish and about as protctive as you will find for women's riding jeans. They look great and the price is right!

These jeans fit my girlfriend perfectly she is 5'2 and 100 pounds I was worried that the jeans would need to be heamed but fit just fine. She loves the style the fit along with the knee and hip protectors plus these jeans look good paired with here stella sms 6 boots and stella gp leather jacket. Best option for a girl looking for a stylish riding jeans with out all the bulk and look of those other low quality riding jeans for woman.

Well fitting jeans
These fit really nicely and don't make it seem I'm wearing padding protection. I think the hip protectors aren't terribly big enough to be of much use, but the knees are okay. I wish the kevlar area of protection was larger, but overall, these jeans are a good selection.
