THIS IS MY FIRST JACKET FOR MY NEW HOBBY AND NEED. I WAS RIDING BETWEEN 65 TO 75 TEMPERATURE. FOR HIGHER TEMPERATURE, I WAS TAKING OFF INNER LINER . I ADDED ALPINESTARS BACK AND CHEST PROTECTORS FROM REV; THE ONE COME WITH JACKET IS FOAM MADE; HAVE NO USE OF IT. WHILE RIDING WITH THE JACKET, IT FLOWS TON OF AIR AND IT IS COMFORTABLE SITTING POTIONS ON BIKE.
HOWEVER, WITH ALL PROTECTION INSIDE, JACKET WEIGH MORE THAN I EXPECTED.

Jacket fits great. I have only been wearing during the late spring and without the lining. The mesh allows air to pass through. Looks awesome too. The collar is a good touch.

First off, this jacket flows a lot of air, which is great for this summer. The jacket fits tight but runs a little small. I'm a more tall and slender guy so while the chest and width fits perfect, the arms and length are a lil short. something to keep in mind when trying sizes. The jacket looks great in person and feels amazing. I upgraded the chest and back protection to the bio armor and it slips right in and fits perfectly. Doesn't add much more bulk either. So in summary:
PRO's: Great looks. Flows tons of air. Easily upgradeable armor, and good features.
CON's: Slightly short fit for tall/slender guys in arms and length. Have to check elbow armor a lot as it tends to slide down arm after hanging up.

Great Jacket, this was my first one I purchased and I am very happy with it, the only negative I have with the jacket is it rained abit the other day, stayed completely dry underneath except through the neck were the water dripped down and my shoulders were wet. Other then that awesome jacket for the price!

Ordered this jacket as it started to get warmer for the summer. Came in quickly like normal and fit true to its word. Luckily the jacket arrived when it did, a few days later I really needed it. The protection and the armor holds up well and the material is both durable and resilient to a fall. I would recommend this jacket for anyone with summer riding who wants to stay cool during the warmer weather and still stay protected.

The fit on the arms and throughout the torso is excellent, I used the Alpinestars sizing guide and it worked out great. (I prefer my gear to be on the snug fit side vs. loose.) The airflow is smart, and has kept me cool so far on a few 80 degree days riding out in the sun. Another great product from astars.

Slick looking jacket. Nice construction and overall quality, it is a bit pricey than other textile mesh jackets but its A* quality. I am new to riding and decided to use revzilla for all my purchases and customer services has been excellent. Jacket runs a little tight if you wear body armor underneath. Haven't been on the bike with it yet still waiting for some armor to get here to make sure everything fits right! Normally wear an XL but I am thinking about sizing up to the XXL (upgraded back protector). Overall the jacket is nice quality and the black and white is a head turner! Thanks Revzilla! Keep the videos coming!

I love the fact that this jacket is so modular. The removable inner liner is such a nice touch, especially since the weather has varied so much here in NJ. I've used this jacket between 40F to high-70F temps. Like many other people reviewing this jacket, I would have no problems wearing this jacket even when it hits higher temps during the summer season. Pockets galore too... 2 pockets on the outside, 3 on the inside jacket, 2 more on the inner liner.
The only thing I dislike about the jacket is elbow/forearm protection. I admit, I do have shorter arms, but the armor does tend to slide down. The pocket it sits in allows movement, so I might have to do something to keep it seated in its highest position.
If you're a safety buff, I'd also suggest to upgrade the armor. The jacket only comes w/ the foam inserts. I opted to upgrade to the bionic chest protectors, and bionic air back protector. I still get the same air ventilation, but the added protection gives me a little more piece of mind.

I was originally bitten by the change. The White/Black with Red lettering is what will ship. There are no red panels on this jacket as there were in previous pictures. Not sure why Alpinestars changed the look as I preferred the old color combo better, but it is what it is. So again, what you see is what will ship.Age: 25-34
