Alpinestars Stella WR-3 Gore-Tex Gloves

The Alpinestars Stella WR-3 Glove is an all-weather touring glove and is both 100% waterproof and highly breathable, featuring advanced TPU molded knuckle protection housed within the leather main body construction for robust and durable performance. Double wrist closure and accordion flex panels give the rider enhanced fit, security and feel.

Features:

  • Women's specific fit
  • Goatskin leather construction for greater abrasion and tear resistance
  • Technical Gore-Tex glove designed to be worn over jacket sleeves
  • Full leather main body construction
  • TPU knuckle protector housed within leather construction
  • Alpinestars patented finger-bridge prevents finger separation and stops twisting around little finger in the event of a slide
  • New easy in/out lining with thermal backhand and reduced palm for improved grip and comfort
  • TPR finger stylus for use with bike navigation systems
  • Retro reflective areas for greater night visibility
  • Helmet visor wipe strip mounted on left thumb

Not as warm as I had hoped for.
Just completed first ride w/ these gloves (~100mi w/ temps ranging from 40F down to 30F). They were not nearly as warm as I was hoping for and when we stopped for lunch about half way through our ride my hands were close to numb. My other complaint is the lack of feeling through the gloves (i.e. feeling the turn signal knob etc). If they were warmer I wouldn't have an issue w/ but for the amount of padding I'm somewhat disappointed. They are comfy though and the little wiper on the left thumb works well (ran into a bit of snow so got to try it out). I don't have a use for the stylus's on the finger tips (yet) so I can't vouch for how well those work. Overall I can see these being great gloves for 40F+ but not for deep cold or long rides.

Great Glove! Super stylish & comfy!
This is a fantastic winter glove for ladies. I like how soft, yet durable the material is. My only complaint is that they fit super, super small! I started with size small, returned for a medium, and then returned again for a large! Make sure you take your normal size, and add at least +1.

Great Cool Weather Glove
I found myself at the beginning of Fall... again... with cold fingers and a weekend trip planned with cooler temps, low in the upper 30s. I ordered these on Thursday and had them on Friday for my trip.. so they had to work! The glove is fairly thick and took a while to get used to the controls, but my hands felt protected from the chill. The finger stylus is useless to me as I don't use them with a compatible device. Definitely waterproof. These gloves definitely require a break in period and I'd say they run pretty true to size.

Great all-weather glove
Gloves were a bit snug and have more features than I think I need (like the squeegee). They could be a bit toasty on sunny days but but I did test them through the rains in Spain and they were great. Starting out, they were also a bit stiff .. it takes awhile to break them in. I absolutely recommend.

Great features but a little small
These gloves have a lot of nice features (knuckle protection, waterproof, thumb squeegee, built-in stylus). They run a bit on the small side, but because they are leather, should (hopefully) stretch out to be just right. They aren't nearly as warm as I had hoped but I think that is because they are currently too tight.

Good style and protection, but not for the coldest days
I bought these as a gift in size small for 40F to 60F winter riding, and while they keep my friend's hands from freeezing, don't expect your hands to be toasty. The gloves resemble racing gloves and have hard knuckle protection, so they look great and protect well. Because of the extra inner cold-weather padding we found the glove to fit slightly smaller and stiffer than a pair of Alpinestar Stella SP2 gloves in the same size.

I bought These gloves because the gloves I have are mesh and meant for the summer. I haven't tried them yet because they were a big big in the finger area so i'm exchanging them for smaller ones but they feel great!

watched the video and they seem to fit my needs for protection and cold weather gear. A little out of my price range but I splurged after my hands nearly froze off. I really hope they work out.

They fit my wife to her liking. What else can I say.

I wanted a warm, protective waterproof set of gloves, these were too too much. Very thick gloves reduce the tactile response, and are typically too hot to use in typical summer, early fall or late spring riding. Get a set of thinner gloves for cooler riding, as to waterproofing, there are overgloves that can work just as well.
