Alpinestars Stella SP-8 Gloves
Good glove, good protection
I bought these in size small according to the size chart. I did not size up because I tried a different style of alpinestars gloves in a store and size small fit just fine. Looking back though, medium might work better. I feel the glove is a bit too snug. Since it is leather it has since loosened up a bit but not enough.
I originally wanted the gloves in black, but they didn't have my size so I went with the white and red, which I ended up liking a lot more than simple black. The glove itself feels really well constructed and I did not experience the fit issues for the pinky finger. Ventilation is just OK. Overall good pair of gloves but I may end up looking for a different pair for summer riding.

great product for the money!
I bought these about a week ago and I have to say I'm actually very impressed for the product that I received for the money that I paid. I actually read a bunch of reviews before purchasing the set of gloves and they were true the sizing runs a little bit small. however there are tricks around the narrow fingers one of them suggested that I put double A batteries in the fingers to stretch them out and it is work perfectly for me so far. The air flow is fantastic my fingers and hands don't get sweaty while riding in the warm weather. I find that the wrist strap could be designed a little bit better so to avoid a little bit of discomfort. but overall I'm very happy with what I have and I will definitely recommend this to other people.

Great protection & style
I love the look and feel of these gloves, but they do run a tad bit small.

Looked great but didn't last long.
I bought these gloves at a local bike shop. I usually prefer my gloves to...well...for like a glove. Smalls weren't available so I went with the mediums. Fit was fairly snug around the palm area, but the fingers we a little long, manageable. They were comfortable and well broken in. Unfortunately they didn't last more than a month and a half. They weren't even my primary gloves! The stitching on the finger tips of the right middle and ring finger came apart. Even if the fingers were a bit long they the stitching should hold! Total disappointment. I'm in the market again for new gloves for the track. It was probably just a fluke but I can't recommend these in good conscience.

Got this for my wife, her measurement is right in the middle of size S, but that fits too big for her: loose all around and fingers too long.
I've exchanged it for an XS size, will update once she uses it for a while.

Luvvv these gloves
I was surprised when I saw how not overly expensive these gloves were for all the features they have. I love the style and color, I got the black and white. The knuckle protection feels great, really comfortable and the attention to detail sets these gloves apart. I've used them in humid weather but I didn't feel my hands get hot or sweaty, the gloves have perforated sections. I did not experience uncomfortable seams on any of the fingers. These gloves look great, a no nonsense vibe, and because they are comfortable, I will buy again from Alpinestars (of course, through Revzilla). ;)

Stella SP-8 Glove Review
I purchased the Alpinestars Stella SP-8 Gloves- Blk/Wht.
Design & Function- Good design, I can appreciate the pinky safety stitching- since I ride track.
I'd like to see wrist & side palm sliders for the next revision. Knuckle guards are ok. But fit comfortably without any notice to them.
Fit- Sizing is accurate. I'm a medium. Long narrow hand n fingers. Fits perfect.
Wrist support was the #1 reason why i bought these gloves. Perfect at keeping my weak wrists in place; and hopefully preventing quick fatigue.
The down side-
Like one review already stated... Small/pinky finger inseam is Very Uncomfortable. Upside easy fix- it just needede to be stretched out/ broke in. *I had the brillaint idea of using a double A battery to stretch the pinky out better.
*Have the battery inserted half way in the finger and mash it down back in forth, while pulling the pinky down.
It took 9 minutes to break in the left glove, and 2 for the right.
*I would love the next generation to have this inseam error worked out. I almost returned them because of this obnoxious defect. Luckily creative ingenuity is key here.
Great gloves, would buy them again.
*Bikes: 1198, 1198S, GSXR 750, Triple Speed 1000, CBR600RR.

These gloves look beautiful! The leather is high quality, the stitching and foam inserts aptly placed, and the design all over--even down to the print on the knuckles and the logo placements--work together to make a fine looking pair of ladies' gauntlets!
Further, there is a lot of attention to detail on the protection and I feel solidly protected in these, especially at the wrist. I never liked gauntlet style until I saw these and am more than happy to protect my wrists now. The entire glove feels solid.
I find that they could be more comfortable but I am still stretching the leather out a bit so until then, my fingers may feel the stiffness when I'm riding for an hour. I believe they'll become much more comfortable once they're stretched a bit. They seem ergonomic and the curve is good.
I'm a really big fan of these!
