Long lasting!
I've had these gloves for over four years! I have to confess, I'm not very good at properly caring for them either (sometimes I used Windex to clean road grime off the logos), but they are still in relatively good condition considering! Fortunately, I've never had to put them through a crash test. After years of daily commuting, many multiday trips, lots of track riding, and racing, plus a few unexpected rain soaked rides, the gloves have stood the test of time. The only signs of wear is this: there is a soft gray layer of leather covering on the palms that goes over the firmer leather and that softer top layer of leather has worn through. I highly recommend them (and hope that writing this review might result in winning a gift card so I can buy a newer pair, hint hint!) Ride safe ladies!

Saved *most* of my hand
I recently low-sided on my bike after taking a turn too fast/wide and these gloves helped a lot of minimize the damage on my hands. However, the palms did rip through and I sustained a bit of road rash near my wrist. Spend the extra cash to get a glove with proper palm sliders. Otherwise the glove had average construction and needed some home-stitching.

Great gloves!
My previous gloves were Dainese, but they fell apart after about 9 months of use, and they were the expensive carbon cover ones. These alpine stars gloves are great though, and fit my hands very well. For some reason women's gloves fit me better than mens gloves, even though I am male. I would highly reccomend these to anyone, they are comfy and feel like they have a good amount of protection.

First set of riding gloves for the wife.
These are some nice LADIES gloves. I was impressed. A decent amount of protection for the street it would seem without looking like a robot. Definitely not a track glove with thick cowhide and external stitching, but way better than nothing. My wife told me the fit was good for her and they were comfortable. I would have hoped the 3rd finger and pinky bridge would have been a bit more substantial though.

Great but smaller than SMX2
I have smx2 size Small... So I thought they would be the same. I was wrong. It was slightly smaller than I expected. I didn't want to return them so I just stretched it out. I still like them.

They fit like a glove!
If your like me, it's hard to find gloves that fit & feel good. I was afraid to buy gloves without trying them on. They felt great as soon as I put them on! Very comfortable. I live in AZ so air flow is important and the air flow was great. No complaints other than the pinky and a couple fingers were a little long ... but I have small hands and all gloves fit me like that.

So my opinion on the gloves... They fit me like a glove!

Great for street riding or track days
I purchased these gloves for the fast and windy rides on the street and at the racetrack on my Ninja 300. These gloves fit true to size for me but probably run a tad bit small for most as I have tiny hands. The women's small fits comparable to a youth XL glove. The gloves feel a little stiff out of the box but good to break in on short rides. If you're planning to use them at the track, I recommend spending a day or 2 of breaking them in and wearing them around the house. I initially had a slightly difficult time feeling the throttle at low speeds due to the padding in the palm not being broken in yet, but overall a great glove for the track. I also received many compliments from the male riders for wearing pink at the track. If you're looking for a good gauntlet or entry level track glove, then I highly recommend this product to you.

Great full protection glove for women!
Ive been trying to find a pair of serious motorcycling gloves for a long while, but have been surprised and disappointed with how difficult its been to find a leather gauntlet glove with armored knuckles and ventilation for women. Ive tried on all the mens gloves and my hands are just too small. :(

Once I found the Stella SP-2 gloves I stopped searching! This had everything I was looking for in a warm weather race-capable glove, and the fact that this has the finger bridge reinforcement is a great bonus! I would have preferred a double gauntlet...but this was definitely the best option I've found to date without having to spend a fortune.

Sizing was spot on for me. I measured my hand according to the sizing chart and it was perfect. Comfort right now (brand new and just wearing around the house) could be better due to the seams in the fingers, but I am hoping they soften and break in with wear. As I said, I havent ridden in them yet since we are still buried in ice and snow, but the ventilation looks effective. I will update if my rating is off.

Great Gloves for Girlfriend
I bought this glove for my girlfriend and she loves it, at first it was a bit tight but we just needed to break it in. it feels a bit better for her now, but still needa break it in some more. Protection is there and you can be a little more relieved when riding with someone you love.

Great Gloves!
I love these Gloves! They fit me perfectly and on my first ride with them, I forgot I had them on because of the ergonomically curved fingers and palm. There is no bulkiness to get in the way at all, yet the top is very protective feeling. Wonderful sensitive feel for the bike's controls and throttle. Very stylish glove.

These gloves are one of my favorite purchases in my four years of riding, they look and feel great. Bought them beginning of last season and they're still holding up great. Started with 4,000 miles on my bike when I got these gloves, now there's just over 20,000 miles on the R6 and still using the same gloves. A lot of commuting to work done with them and they've held up much better than other gloves I've used.

I am an everyday, all-weather, rider so my gear wears out fairly quickly. I needed a great pair of gloves fast because I will be heading up from Jacksonville, FL to the Dragon in a few weeks and wanted some warmer, solid gloves. These were absolutely amazing!
A E on Oct 5, 2014
Tired of women's gloves being low quality. Hoping a race glove will hold up well, specially in the palms.
Sarah F on Aug 24, 2014
I have pretty small hands and these seemed to fit me the best - the most snug. I also liked that they are tall and therefore protect my wrists.
NancySo on Aug 10, 2014
I chose these gloves based off of previous reviews. The protection these offer for track and every day riding, plus they offer ventilation which is a requirement for summer riding.

It gets really hot here in Arizona, and it's one of the more protective gloves I've found that are female-fitting and flow a ton of air. I'm excited to get these!

I'm a little confused on how to size these gloves. Am I measuring from the forefinger knuckle on top of my hand, going under my hand and over to the top of my pinky knuckle?
Todd S on Oct 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The glove should fit from the tip of your longest finder down to the in seem of skin between the other fingers should snuggle to almost firm on the tension. The seem on the under side of your and bellow the vase of your palm should be lined up on the same oars of the glove too. So when everything is strapped down it doesn't feel like the undersides of the glove is pulling forward to you finger. Basically the cuffs of the gloves shouldn't move and you should be sale to bend your wrist freely up and down.
I like the Alpinestars Stella SP-2 Black/Pink/White gloves but is it get dirty easily or the white leather part will come off after a while?
A shopper on Sep 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I purchased the black and white version of these gloves backbin 2014. In my opinion, motorcycle gloves of light color will get dirty depending on your usage. I train and races with these gloves regularly. The white did not come off as you asked. The white stays white but will get dirty if you wear them often, it's par for the course. Hope it helps. Ride safely.
Hi,

I have a question concerning sizing on this glove.
My hand sits at about 3 1/8 inches, which is right between a small and medium.
Which size would you recommend ordering?

Thank you!
-Pimwadee
Pimwadee L on Feb 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I actually brought these for an ex-girlfriend in a size medium. On first fit, they fitted spot on with no room to spare. Due to them being leather, they will break in slightly creating just enough wiggle room. I would suggest a medium. If they end up being too big, Revzilla has a simple efficient exchange policy.
Hey there, i am a male and was wondering wether the female version of this glove will fit the same as a male version of the same size or should I go a size up?
A shopper on Mar 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The glove has a female sizing. If your hands are small, size accordingly
