Good Gauntlet Glove These are the most comfortable set of gloves that I own (I have other Knox and Joe Rocket gloves). They do have some air flow, so your hands may get a tad chilly below 60 degrees. There is adequate protection for a small fall off of the bike, but any type of sliding will rip these gloves apart. I low-sided on the track at 60 mph and they tore up, but my hand was still protected. October 13, 2015
Great gloves! My previous gloves were Dainese, but they fell apart after about 9 months of use, and they were the expensive carbon cover ones. These alpine stars gloves are great though, and fit my hands very well. For some reason women's gloves fit me better than mens gloves, even though I am male. I would highly reccomend these to anyone, they are comfy and feel like they have a good amount of protection. August 24, 2015
Awesome gloves! Got these for my girlfriend as a gift, and she absolutely loves them. They offer good protection and fit her quite well. Although she was initially worried they would be too tight, they quickly packed out and now fit her like a glove - hah! She loves the styling and wrap around gauntlet, though she has complained that they do not go high enough to prevent her jacket from coming out the tops. Other than that, she has had no complaints. Wonderfully fitting glove, just a bit too small If my fingers had each been about 1/4 inch shorter, this glove would have fit perfectly. I followed the measurement chart, but this brand only has you measuring half of your hand (instead of the full circumference) and I wonder if I had done that, if I would have ordered the correct size the first time around. I was on the cusp between two sizes, and likely should've gone with my gut (instead of the size chart) and ordered the larger size. I've returned this glove (ordered a M, needed a L) and purchased a larger glove from a different manufacturer instead. The other reason I switched to a different brand was mainly style. The Alpinestars logo is large, very white on the black gloves, and too blatant for my taste. instead I went with an all-black leather gauntlet glove. The logos are enormous on that glove as well, but far more subtle since the stitching is the same color as the leather. Overall, I'd say this is a great glove for someone looking for a quality 3-season glove (spring/summer/fall), but it does run a bit small so if your measurement is close to being between two sizes, go up a size and you'll be happy. Gloves with great protection. Love these gloves, I tried them on in a store here in Aus and I fitted a size sm, however ordered the medium in the red/black/white as it was the only size avaliable and they fit perfectly! Great protection on the palm, knuckles, double layer on the pinky and great padding where you woild expect. July 10, 2015
Long lasting! I've had these gloves for over four years! I have to confess, I'm not very good at properly caring for them either (sometimes I used Windex to clean road grime off the logos), but they are still in relatively good condition considering! Fortunately, I've never had to put them through a crash test. After years of daily commuting, many multiday trips, lots of track riding, and racing, plus a few unexpected rain soaked rides, the gloves have stood the test of time. The only signs of wear is this: there is a soft gray layer of leather covering on the palms that goes over the firmer leather and that softer top layer of leather has worn through. I highly recommend them (and hope that writing this review might result in winning a gift card so I can buy a newer pair, hint hint!) Ride safe ladies! June 15, 2015
Great gloves for ladies I have a hard time with gloves because I have big hands for women plus I have long nails. And any glove geared towards women tend to be smaller. I bought the largest size and they still are snug on my hands but after a few wears it breaks in pretty nicely. They have great protection on the upper portion of the glove, knuckle protection is a must for me. Just wish it had more protection for the palm but can't complain for the price of these gloves. Ventilation is great I never get sweat hands wearing these even after long periods of time. Great medium grade gloves May 4, 2015
Great full protection glove for women! Ive been trying to find a pair of serious motorcycling gloves for a long while, but have been surprised and disappointed with how difficult its been to find a leather gauntlet glove with armored knuckles and ventilation for women. Ive tried on all the mens gloves and my hands are just too small. :( Once I found the Stella SP-2 gloves I stopped searching! This had everything I was looking for in a warm weather race-capable glove, and the fact that this has the finger bridge reinforcement is a great bonus! I would have preferred a double gauntlet...but this was definitely the best option I've found to date without having to spend a fortune. Sizing was spot on for me. I measured my hand according to the sizing chart and it was perfect. Comfort right now (brand new and just wearing around the house) could be better due to the seams in the fingers, but I am hoping they soften and break in with wear. As I said, I havent ridden in them yet since we are still buried in ice and snow, but the ventilation looks effective. I will update if my rating is off. February 23, 2015

A E: I am an everyday, all-weather, rider so my gear wears out fairly quickly. I needed a great pair of gloves fast because I will be heading up from Jacksonville, FL to the Dragon in a few weeks and wanted some warmer, solid gloves. These were absolutely amazing! Oct 5, 2014
Sarah F: Tired of women's gloves being low quality. Hoping a race glove will hold up well, specially in the palms. Aug 24, 2014
Nancy S: I have pretty small hands and these seemed to fit me the best - the most snug. I also liked that they are tall and therefore protect my wrists. Aug 10, 2014

Pimwadee L: It gets really hot here in Arizona, and it's one of the more protective gloves I've found that are female-fitting and flow a ton of air. I'm excited to get these! Feb 28, 2014
Todd S asked: I'm a little confused on how to size these gloves. Am I measuring from the forefinger knuckle on top of my hand, going under my hand and over to the top of my pinky knuckle? Oct 23, 2015

Diego R: The glove should fit from the tip of your longest finder down to the in seem of skin between the other fingers should snuggle to almost firm on the tension. The seem on the under side of your and bellow the vase of your palm should be lined up on the same oars of the glove too. So when everything is strapped down it doesn't feel like the undersides of the glove is pulling forward to you finger. Basically the cuffs of the gloves shouldn't move and you should be sale to bend your wrist freely up and down. Oct 24, 2015

A shopper asked: I like the Alpinestars Stella SP-2 Black/Pink/White gloves but is it get dirty easily or the white leather part will come off after a while? Sep 28, 2015

137 Montague S: I purchased the black and white version of these gloves backbin 2014. In my opinion, motorcycle gloves of light color will get dirty depending on your usage. I train and races with these gloves regularly. The white did not come off as you asked. The white stays white but will get dirty if you wear them often, it's par for the course. Hope it helps. Ride safely. Oct 3, 2015
Robin A: Well, anything white gets dirty quickly. Mine is not too bad though I haven't worn it much, I've been wear another shorter glove. The white leather part seems okay so far. Sep 29, 2015

Pimwadee L asked: Hi,

I have a question concerning sizing on this glove.
My hand sits at about 3 1/8 inches, which is right between a small and medium.
Which size would you recommend ordering?

Thank you!

A s: I actually brought these for an ex-girlfriend in a size medium. On first fit, they fitted spot on with no room to spare. Due to them being leather, they will break in slightly creating just enough wiggle room. I would suggest a medium. If they end up being too big, Revzilla has a simple efficient exchange policy. Nicholas S: Medium. In my experience, it is better that gloves are slightly too big than slightly too small. Feb 28, 2014
