Alpinestars Stella SP-2 Gloves
Good value gloves
The pros: The gloves have decent protection and they're a pretty good price for what you get.
The cons: It'd be nice if there were a little more anti-abrasion material on the gauntlet/sleeve part and the palm of the hand (like solid Kevlar or hard-ish plastic). Still great gloves though.

Good Gauntlet Glove
These are the most comfortable set of gloves that I own (I have other Knox and Joe Rocket gloves). They do have some air flow, so your hands may get a tad chilly below 60 degrees. There is adequate protection for a small fall off of the bike, but any type of sliding will rip these gloves apart. I low-sided on the track at 60 mph and they tore up, but my hand was still protected.

My previous gloves were Dainese, but they fell apart after about 9 months of use, and they were the expensive carbon cover ones. These alpine stars gloves are great though, and fit my hands very well. For some reason women's gloves fit me better than mens gloves, even though I am male. I would highly reccomend these to anyone, they are comfy and feel like they have a good amount of protection.

Got these for my girlfriend as a gift, and she absolutely loves them. They offer good protection and fit her quite well. Although she was initially worried they would be too tight, they quickly packed out and now fit her like a glove - hah! She loves the styling and wrap around gauntlet, though she has complained that they do not go high enough to prevent her jacket from coming out the tops. Other than that, she has had no complaints.

Wonderfully fitting glove, just a bit too small
If my fingers had each been about 1/4 inch shorter, this glove would have fit perfectly. I followed the measurement chart, but this brand only has you measuring half of your hand (instead of the full circumference) and I wonder if I had done that, if I would have ordered the correct size the first time around. I was on the cusp between two sizes, and likely should've gone with my gut (instead of the size chart) and ordered the larger size. I've returned this glove (ordered a M, needed a L) and purchased a larger glove from a different manufacturer instead.
The other reason I switched to a different brand was mainly style. The Alpinestars logo is large, very white on the black gloves, and too blatant for my taste. instead I went with an all-black leather gauntlet glove. The logos are enormous on that glove as well, but far more subtle since the stitching is the same color as the leather.
Overall, I'd say this is a great glove for someone looking for a quality 3-season glove (spring/summer/fall), but it does run a bit small so if your measurement is close to being between two sizes, go up a size and you'll be happy.

Gloves with great protection.
Love these gloves, I tried them on in a store here in Aus and I fitted a size sm, however ordered the medium in the red/black/white as it was the only size avaliable and they fit perfectly!
Great protection on the palm, knuckles, double layer on the pinky and great padding where you woild expect.

I've had these gloves for over four years! I have to confess, I'm not very good at properly caring for them either (sometimes I used Windex to clean road grime off the logos), but they are still in relatively good condition considering! Fortunately, I've never had to put them through a crash test. After years of daily commuting, many multiday trips, lots of track riding, and racing, plus a few unexpected rain soaked rides, the gloves have stood the test of time. The only signs of wear is this: there is a soft gray layer of leather covering on the palms that goes over the firmer leather and that softer top layer of leather has worn through. I highly recommend them (and hope that writing this review might result in winning a gift card so I can buy a newer pair, hint hint!) Ride safe ladies!

Great gloves for ladies
I have a hard time with gloves because I have big hands for women plus I have long nails. And any glove geared towards women tend to be smaller. I bought the largest size and they still are snug on my hands but after a few wears it breaks in pretty nicely. They have great protection on the upper portion of the glove, knuckle protection is a must for me. Just wish it had more protection for the palm but can't complain for the price of these gloves. Ventilation is great I never get sweat hands wearing these even after long periods of time. Great medium grade gloves
