Aside from the obvious... there's not too much to say about the Stacked Thermal from Alpinestars. I wanted a long sleeved t-shirt aside from the fact, and I thought I'd give this one a shot. I also hoped to use it as a 'base layer' under my Atem perforated leather jacket. I've tested this combination in the high 40's to high 50's here in NYC where I live, and it lets a bit too much air through for a 'thermal' in my opinion. In terms of style, fit, and comfort, the shirt is absolutely fantastic. I'm 6'0 185lbs with an athletic build, and the large fits me perfectly. I suppose it really comes down to what your main purpose for the shirt is. For casual where, it's worth every bit. As a thermal/base layer, it doesn't do TOO much in terms of keeping you warm, but all in all, a decent buy. April 8, 2013
