Looks great but few issues with durability
After crashing in this suit at about 60kph the front sleeve tore and wore through and I wore right through the knee leather (and ended up with a badly grazed knee). While it did a pretty good job of protecting me I was pretty disappointed with how the sleeve held up.

The stretch panel in the forearm tore apart and twisted around my arm so that my forearm was pretty scratched up. Would have like to see more durability in this section of the suit.

Great suit, but zippers could use some work
I was really happy when I got this suit, it fit well, had good movement, and looked pretty sharp. Still getting used to the offset front zipper, not sure it offers a big advantage for getting in and out compared to my old AS suit. Speaking of the front zipper, the first track day I take this thing out and the leather tang on the zipper breaks right off. Pretty bummed as I had only put it on about 5 times before. Performance on the track was good, good flexibility in the right places, and the aramid stretch panels breathed pretty well. It was about 85F in the desert and I wasn't boiling in the suit, so not too bad. I'm 5'11", 175lbs and I wear a 44US, My old AS 42US was too tight when I had the bionic back protector installed so I was glad when I went the next size up.

BEST ANSWER: Hi there.

I am of a similar build and ordered the size 60 as this was the largest in stock. I tried it last weekend when I received it, and I must say it fit me snugly. A bit on the tighter side but I am hoping it will break in. Overall I liked it as its quite breathable and I live in a hot climate and the quality is good.

My waist is bigger than yours by 2 inches, chest is same, hips same and height slightly smaller than yours by an inch. I think the height should be ok for you. The only thing are the arms which are 23.5 for me and you mentioned 26, so i have a feeling the sleeves might be a bit on the shorter side. My thighs are 1 inch bigger and yet fit in quite nicely.

Given your dimensions I would recommend size 60 as even if its slightly lose it might be better than a tight and uncomfortable fit.

Hope this helps.
I am looking for a good one piece suit that I can take to the track. The suit will be used primarily for everyday riding however I would like to have enough protection for weekends at the track. I live in South Carolina where it get hot during the summer so I am wanting a perf suit. I am looking at this Alpinestars Orbiter, the Alpinestars Motegi and the Dainese Crono, all are similar in price and seem to have very similar safety features. My question is which suit would be best for a day to day ride yet stable enough for a good hard track weekend? I think all 3 suits are perforated but which would be best for hot weather? Just looking for opinions on the best out of the 3 or what really makes one stand apart. Thanks for your help.

BEST ANSWER: This is a great track suit. It's pretty flexible and comfortable for the amount of protection it gives. Breathability for a full suit is OK but I definitely am ready to get out of it after 20 minutes of hard track riding on a hot day. In my opinion this is overkill for everday riding but I guess it depends on how much protection you are looking for on the street.
Hi I'm looking at a 1 piece suit, but not sure which one to go with. I'm racing supermoto. I'm a bit confused between the Motegi and Orbiter as to which one would suit supermoto not sports bike racing?
Thanks

BEST ANSWER: The orbiter is a great racing suite. Haven't tried the motegi. The orbiter has great protection and has the looks and style to match.
