Good Value and protection
I bought these for commuting. Didn't need full on leathers. Pulled the pucks off and made some velcro backed covers with leather upholstery to cover up the velcro areas. I rode today in 20 degrees for 2 hours comfortably using just some Under Armor Colder thermals. Will try it this summer with UA Heatgear .

Great sport pant
I was right at the upper range on the size chart for a size 50. I wear a size 33 Levi's, 28" inseam. I ordered a size 50 Short, and it's a perfect snug fit. These pants have broken in nicely after one week and they feel fantastic on the bike now.
One feature that attracted me to these pants initially was the zips on the calves for extra space. I have 16" calves and occasionally sport-cut moto gear can be challenging. The zips were helpful the first few times I put the pants on, but they have since broken in a little and I no longer require the calf zips to be open.
The knee armor did feel slightly scratchy on the first ride or two, but it has since gone away completely. I wanted the best protection I could find for street riding, and I feel like I got it with the Alpinestars Missile pant!
The pants zip to my Alpinestars GP Plus R Perforated jacket to form a stylish suit of armor.

Accurate sizing, nice liner...Overall great pants.
6'0" 180 lbs 34 pant and size 52 fit perfectly with A* compression shorts under for more hip and sacral protection. Fit well inside A* SMX plus boots. A* listing states CE hip pad upgrade available. It's not. Called A* and they stated that is a misprint. Good internal knee and shin protection. Would like to see some hard armor outside over knee caps. Other than that; great non-vented pants.

Very comfortable and good protection
I am 6'2" and typically wear 33waist/32length pants and the 52 LONG fit perfect. I was surprised how cool I stayed with these on despite the lack of venting, they are quite comfortable, and they look great too. I also liked the (slightly) adjustable waist with the velcro pull straps. The flex material breathes pretty well. I highsided @ about 60mph with these on and they did an excellent job of protecting me and held up pretty well too with relatively little wear despite a decent slide.

A shopper asked:How much longer, larger is the tall size compared to the standard size and how much shorter, tighter is the small size compared to the standard size? However I should wear using the Alpinestars size guide the 54 cause I'm 6,1 ftSep 5, 2014
Robert J:Regular unless you are very long legged for your height. Also I have a measured 35" waist and these pants fit perfectly snug. If you drift much over 35" around the navel part of your waist you may need a 54.Oct 29, 2014
Jimmy P asked:I"m a bigger guy (6'0" ~245lbs) and have done my waist/hip/etc measurements and my size isn't listed on the sizing chart. I'd like to think i'm not that big to be able to wear a pair of these, since my jean size is a 40.
Christopher H:I can tell you that I ended up being a larger size than I expected. They are a tight fit that broke in but I definitely could now wear my jean size. However, worst case just send them back. I have short legs and that is where this product shined for me. They are great pantsFeb 16, 2015
Jason W:I am 6'-0" and about 240 and wear about a Size 38 jean. The size 58 pants fit me pretty good. From what I heard, the rule of thumb is to go 18 over your US sizing for the comparable Euro Size but the 56's were just too hard to get buttoned up. Hope this helps!Feb 18, 2015
Andrew G:That's not a problem with size 40. Just follow the chart sizes. Pants fits perfect with great and easy access for switching jackets with the 360 zipper. I can't find any issues and looks awesome.Feb 18, 2015
