be different... i really like this jacket. i am glad i returned the SS seven sins jacket and exchanged it for this one. i am 5'7" tall 135lbs and skinny so even though it runs on the smaller side (smaller compared to SS seven sins small), it fits me really well! if you ride with friends who have leather jackets, this jacket will really set you apart! looks very casual and goes really well with the dainese D1 kevlar jeans and TCX riding sneakers. i highly recommend this jacket. May 13, 2013
very subtle, discrete street jacket I'm 5'11, lanky build with a 38 suit size. medium would've been tailored but the large fits just as well for my long arms. leaves just enough room for a thin hoodie on those colder days. hard to tell what color it truly is. indoors it's olive drab, broad daylight it looks gray. I wear it daily, even when I'm not riding it's a suitable windbreaker. only knock I can think of is there's no back protector, so no going HAM! on the backroads, not that you're supposed to any way. can't go wrong with this jacket, especially for the price. pity it only came in one color. heather gray would've gotten a complete 5 star rating from me. Stylish light weight jacket Love the jacket. Got it on sale and received it super fast from Revzilla. Only wish it had back protection. Such a cool jacket you can wear everywhere. Order up though because it's cut very small. This was a close out item. May 6, 2013
They won't know you just got off a bike! Stylish low profile jacket that won't place you on a space shuttle or even a motorbike when you go shopping or running errands. Fit for daily street wear. Snug fit giving you protection that won't run from your joints. Kudos to A* February 13, 2013
Stylish jacket for a good price Overall, this is a great 3 season jacket. I wanted something that didn't look like a flashy motorcycle jacket and this is perfect. Very stylish, most people never know it's my armored jacket. I do wish it had a pocket for a back pad, however. A few quirks and cut corners: the elastic around the sleeve cuffs feels cheap and is already abrading where it meets my gloves. And the zipper pull is on the left side which will always feel foreign to me. Fits small, I'm 6 foot and lanky and a large fits perfectly. December 23, 2012
Looks like a normal jacket, great for city riding This is a great casual jacket that looks really cool. Most people don't even know I'm wearing a motorcycle jacket with armor in it. It has held up very well over the season I've ridden with it. Only gripe is the zipper pull is a little cheap, a small price to pay for everything else about the jacket being top notch. The price is right, and the style is right. December 4, 2012
Stylish jacket at an excellent price! This is my first motorcycle jacket, so I was really on a tight budget and this jacket fit the bill nicely and I love the casual style that doesn't scream motorcycle rider. I would rate this as a 50-85 degree jacket. I've ridden it in deeper extremes but this I feel this is it's sweet spot. The armor is very low key and not bulky at all. I always get compliments and surprised looks when people realize it's actually a motorcycle jacket with protection. The fabric is like a thick denim/canvas material and there is a zimmer on the sleeve's that will allow some air flow. I also like that the sleeve's are a generous length compared to my other jackets that are definitely more of the standard sport cut. I would give this jacket a 4.5 star but there is no such rating. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because the color is already starting to fade. I have no washed the jacket yet, so I am assuming it's due to UV damage. It does give it a worn in look and doesn't look terrible, but it may not hold up long term. I am 5' 9" 150lbs and I wear a Medium and to me it fits perfectly. November 6, 2012
Ride safe and in style! Love this jacket, even though it fit small that's make this jacket very stylish.. Good protection on the shoulders and elbows. I did ride for now one week with it, I feel like I'm safe and looking good! September 10, 2012

Love the style, but am concerned that the Matrix Kevlar won't flow enough air in the Baltimore summer heat. Any thoughts? Also, can you confirm that this does have a pocket for back protection?

Answer:
So I stopped in to check out the Revzilla showroom and discovered that this jacket does not have a pocket for a back protector (contrary to Anthony's video and the reviewers comments). Maybe there was a line change in design? Just thought I'd let everyone know!

BTW great showroom and great service. Check it out if you get the chance!

Get the Alpinestars Verona Air Jacket. I use a thin hoodie underneath on cool mornings. http://www.target.com/p/Converse-One-Star-Men-s-Long-Sleeve-Willow-Hoodie/-/A-13542335#?lnk=sc_qi_detaillink

Answer:
Airflow is minimal unless you are going 60+ mph. I would not wear this jacket in temp over 80.

And there is no spot for back protection, but most jackets that come with it only have a piece of foam anyways.

Answer:
i just received this jacket thinking it would come w/a pocket for back protection since the last 2 guys who answered said it did, but this jacket DOES NOT have back protection. The video says it does on the Revzilla site but when you click to view on Youtube it SUBTITLES Correction: There is no pocket for back protection. I really want a back protector but this jacket is so comfortable and stylish i decided not to return it.

I rode in it in about 95 degrees desert heat and found the air flow sufficient. It has openings in the front, back and lower arms. Has back protector pocket for upgrade.

It does have back protection and the air flow is the best I have even seen on any jacket that isn't a purely air style jacket.

Hello, I live in Hawaii, looking for a great summer, all year long Hawaii riding jacket. I really love the look of this jacket (I prefer vintage or classic styles) though am concerned about the heat. I'm debating as of the moment this jacket, the AlpineStars Verona Air Jacket or the REV'IT Air Jacket. What would you recommend and how does the Matrix Kevlar compare to these other two jackets? Better for hot weather? Best protection? Best water resistance? etc. I would really appreciate your help! Thank you.

Answer:
My vote goes to the REV'IT! Air Jacket as it flows the most air and is still quite protective.

Answer:
It's a great jacket and it's not too hot. For Hawaii weather since I used to live there it might be a little too hot. It definately is made well but venting wise not so much. I think you'll sweat like crazy in general. maybe the Rev'it air jacket would be better to be honest.
